Had the standard domican flag dish rice, beans and stew chicken and flavor was on point..both beans and chicken stew took me back as if i was eating in the Dominican Republic. “I came here for some bar food on Sat night cause I was hungry and the other bar I was at was just too busy to find a seat and eat. Boneless wings were great and priced under $10, but domestic drafts were a little expensive at $5. The bar was very slow for a Sat night and someone was playing terrible rap music on the jukebox. Food and service were great, but music was bad.“
“I love the food. Everything I've had has been awesome.. there Calamari is awesome.. and if you like loaded fries try them here. You will be okay. Drinks are great and they have a good selection of liquors. “It is not your regular bar just to get yourself a glass of beer, it is a place to enjoy friends, hear music, and try and forget the words of the day. Very crowded but not shoulder to shoulder. Just close together. It is the perfect place to celebrate St. Patty's Day or any holiday with a group of friends or strangers that are about to become friends.“

“I went here Friday, for the first time... Everything about it was great. If you're into live music and good vibes you have to try it out. The Friday night band plays Grateful Dead, and they do it very well. The place was packed with friendly people having a great time. I had no idea what to expect when I walked in, I was really blown away. The food was also very good...your typical bar food menu. There's a grill behind the bar, my friend and I had a burger and a cheesesteak with fries. The prep area and grill were very clean and the food was fresh. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole evening and I'll definitely be going back ??“
“Apple Jacks is great. The owner John fixed me and hubby up back in 1987. The bar is really fun and they don't only have parties they have parties for the kids to. When my kids were little they had a big party and put a jumping blow up thing in the parking lot for the kids and they also got Ralph the other owner dress up as Santa Clause and have the kids sit on his lap and get presents.“

“Maloney’s is known for their excellent beer selection and they never disappoint. They have a decent selection on their food menu all of which is very tasty and well prepared. If you like shrimp they have a Portuguese shrimp dish which is always amazing as it is served in a bread bowl with some amazing gravy. The Maloney burger is another classic that you should try as it is an excellent burger served on an English muffin. The atmosphere is dark and cozy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is an actual bar there as well with high top tables if you want to go by yourself.Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kids menu for those particular eaters. Even their pizza is a good flatbread version.“
