“Okay I've only been in the area for a few months but so far this is literally my favorite restaurant in a 20-min radius. Portions are HUGE, food is always delicious and well-seasoned, everything is affordable (you can get an $11 lunch special) and their breakfast is just as good as their dinner (which is amazing). I eat here like twice a week now and if I had more money or lived closer I would eat breakfast here every day. I've only done takeout and delivery so I don't know how table service is, but the cashier is always helpful and asks if we want hot sauce/pink sauce, so I'd guess it's good! I mean even if they yelled at me I'd still come back, the food is just THAT good haha“

“The hot food bar was great! But the reason I went there was for the empanadas. They weren't hot and one of them was so hard I almost broke a tooth. The filling was seasoned very well, but they weren't filled greatly. Maybe 70/100 filled. The service was great, kind staff and all that. “Tried LB for the first time last week. To go , Pollo Francese and Pollo a La Plancha. The Frances was FANTASTIC-had leftovers for lunch on a nice roll. Comes w 2 sides all of which were good. However...the icing was the legit Mexican pan dulce -conchas and those crumbly sugar cookies Very cute inside, about 6 little tables, nothing fancy but clean and easy atmosphere“

“Can't say this enough, CASH ONLY. Don't be surprised if they run out of treats. If you can the empanadas de carne and the pan de Bono's are worth the wait. I pass on the chicarrón not as crispy as would of liked. The coffee is great black and they do warm the milk if you prefer. As for the location, it could use some renovations. I only take my food to go since dining area looks like a break room.“

“Best prices in all of Somerset street North Plainfield!!! I always get batido de mora with milk. The empanadas go for $1 and they have chicken or beef. I prefer the chicken one and do alot of my friends but it really goes down to preference. My family loves their bandeja paisa as this is what they're mainly known for and everything is served pretty quickly. You can also order to go!“

“I had the absolute pleasure of eating in this restaurant today. There were so many great options on the menu. I tried the specialty bread and our group is STILL talking about how good it is! Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is colorful and inviting. We also met the owner who was so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable.
