On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. “My wife and I had the most delightful experience at The Hidden Chickpea in Madison, NJ! ?✨ From the moment we stepped in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home. ?I ordered the MAD Burger ? - a true masterpiece featuring two smashed Beyond Burger patties, lusciously topped with red onion jam, vegan provolone, fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, all brought together with a rosemary garlic aioli. Served with a side of hand-cut fries ?, this burger was beyond belief! “As my first time at the store I was impressed with the service. Both associates were very attentive, quick and efficient with my order. I got the 8th Ave Acai Bowl with kiwi added to it. That bowl stood no chance against my spoon and stomach combo. Definitely will be looking for the local one in my area as I'm currently traveling out of state.“

“PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with. “Nice local place if your in the mood for a poke bowl. Offer bowls with 2 or 3 proteins of your choice. I got tuna and yellowtail. You pick a variety of ingredients, toppings and sauces. They do a great job. Fish is fresh. Overall delicious.“

“We love Montclair Nutrition! Josh and Aliyah are always so welcoming and their food is great. Their delicious protein shakes and drinks in a wide range of flavors never disappoint. And, their waffles are the absolute best -- high protein, low carb and low calorie -- can't beat them. We buy in bulk and freeze them so we can enjoy throughout the week -- a real treat. We can't recommend Montclair Nutrition highly enough!“

“Solid Poke place. Food is fresh & customizable with a decent variety that you might expect for a Poke place including a few extras (Mango, Seaweed salad, and plenty of sauces). Service is fast and accurate to your order. I've never had an ingredient missing nor any complaints of less than expected. The store itself is barebones minimal decoration with some wall attached table tops to eat at and not much else but I hardly eat in and prefer takeout.One minor issue is the 16 Oz bowls they use can be quite difficult to separate the lid from the bowl. It's not normally a prolonged problem with some work but I've had a number of instances with older adults not being able to remove the lid because of the lack of any way to grip the lid or bowl separately. This could be remedied with a simple tab on the lid and bowl but they just don't have it.Either case, Orgreen is a solid take out place with decent ingredients and nice variety. Service is fast & accurate. Each meal will fill you up nicely.“

“Excellent, excellent vitamin store. I have been going there since 1978. Saw NY Yankee legend Phil Rizzuto in the store once (he used to live in Hillside). This is not a corporate store. Privately owned. Difference between this health food store and just any is that the people behind the counter are extremely knowledgeable. Ridiculously knowledgeable. Know more than plenty of the doctors out there.“

“Nice bright space with large poke bowl portions. I went for the first time recently, having been to another local poke spot many times. While I enjoy both places, this one definitely won on portion, which was my main complaint about the other one (too small). A very nice surprise!Order at the counter or on their self-order screen. Counter order-taker was friendly and cheerful. Food came out within 5 minutes and I sat at a table in the window. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. It comes with a generous portion of spicy tuna, spicy kani (crab stick) and spicy shrimp over rice, cucumbers, jalapeño, seaweed and tobiko. It looks like the have a nice selection of appetizers, as well. I will try that and bring the family next time!“
