“My brother and I came here and both got the beef shawarma. It's hard to find good middle eastern food in NJ but their shawarma was the best i've had since leaving Lebanon. The owners were so kind and the whole place really had such a nice ambiance. Definitely give this a place a try.“
“The food here is fresh and really really delicious. The spicy chicken shish tawook is so tender and has just enough of a kick. The platter comes with 2 sides--I got the salad and the rice--both fantastic. I'm sure the fries (the other option) would have been just as good. The garlic dipping sauce is out of this world with such great flavor. The restaurant was not crowded, so the waiter only had 2 tables, so the service was pretty good. The mint iced tea was also light and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy authentic, fresh, deliciously prepared Lebanese food. A+. Reasonably priced and really hits the spot! I'll be coming back for more!!“
“My family and I stopped by for dinner this evening and were left feeling very impressed. All the ingredients were very fresh and thr food was very tasty. Mohammed was also very friendly and respectful towards everyone. I would recommend this restaurant to all those who love Middle Eastern food - there are plenty of options for vegans/vegetarians too.“
“I tried EFI’s today from just passing by without looking at any reviews/ knowledge about the place i was PLEASANTLY surprised on the food! I got 2 lamb gyros and spanakopita to go. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“
“Le Souk felt like I was enjoying a meal in someone's home in Syria. Soft, Middle Eastern guitar melodies played in the background as I enjoyed my food. The restaurant was decorated with a myriad of artistic knickknacks. My server was polite, and they came to check in throughout my time there.I took advantage of the 4 appetizers for $30 deal as I was not super hungry. I ordered their beet salad, falafel waffle, stuffed grape leaves, and stuffed kebeh. I intended on ordering the dandelion greens, but they were not available, which was disappointing. The food I did receive, though, was a nice window into their menu. The stuffed kebeh was my favorite, a nice crispy shell with a nutty flavor, juicy ground beef inside, with just a little pomegranate syrup to add a bit of tangy sweetness.I'd love to come back and try some of their sandwiches or an entree in the future. Thanks for the food!“
“Really good! I had the chicken shawarma platter and the chicken was perfectly flavored but it was a bit overcooked and dry. It was right before closing so I won't hold it against them. The rice was really flavorful and fluffy. The salad was delicious. would return again!“
“We were in the area and decided to check out this place bc of all the great reviews and I’m so glad we did. This place is amazing and the food is so so good!! We ordered the hummus, chicken chapli and beef chapli with qabuli palow (traditional rice with carrots and raisins). It’s so favorable and so fresh. They bring out the largest piece of naan bread ever with your order or hummus and food btw which I totally forgot to take a picture of ??♀️ oh and the people who work here are so lovely!“
“Marakesh was an amazing experience. From the delicious kabobs and rice, to the tender lamb. Dinner was finished with Moroccan tea and desserts. The service was impeccable and the belly dancer show just added to the charisma of the restaurant. I could not recommend this place more. Mashallah what a great place!“
“Can’t really answer the Atmosphere question as I always get it to go but seems that folks like it because I always see tables occupied. As far as the food and the staff always great service and quality of food is top notch. The only thing is I wish they were open later on weekends.Give it a try you won’t be disappointedVegetarian options: The vegan selection always very tasty“
“This place has great food. Vegetables were fresh, chicken was cooked well and falafel was not oily. Everything tasted well.Vegetarian options: The falafel is awesome.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan optionsKid-friendliness: They have kid options, I did not get that but it seems like something my 7 year old would like.Wheelchair accessibility: Small ramp to get into the restaurant“
“As a Persian who has lived in Iran for over 30 years, I must say that this restaurant can easily compete with the finest dining establishments in Iran. The quality of their food, especially their kebabs, is truly remarkable. If you have an affinity for meat, I highly recommend trying their barg kebab.“
“been coming here for years now, food is always good & consistent. but today this female employee prompted me to scan a google card without saying why, just kept tapping it against my phone which i had put for the app. as soon as the review page came up she began to tap 5 stars for everything, without asking me or explaining anything. very suspicious & just completing this review so people know the ratings may be tampered with & completed by the employee rather than customers.“
“We had the grilled chicken sandwich and the vegetarian platter. The grilled chicken sandwich was so delicious, loads of fresh mozzarella on top of a nice and soft marinated chicken breast piece. They can customize the sauce if you want. I chose their green sauce instead of the honey mustard or mayo.Galilea is their main vegetarian platter that contains hummus, tabouleh, grape leaves and falafel. They also have a separate vegetarian menu.Quaint little family owned restaurant with wonderful people!Vegetarian options: Galilea is their main vegetarian platter that contains hummus, tabouleh, grape leaves and falafel. They also have a separate vegetarian menu.“
“Great small, quant place in town for Mediterranean food. We came for an earlier dinner at 5:30 on a Saturday and we were the only table. There were a number of people coming in to pick up takeout and delivery orders though. We started with the lentil soup and then I had the Chicken Kabob entree and my wife had the Mahi Mahi entry. We both really enjoyed our meals. The portion size was perfect and everything had great flavor. The staff was really friendly. We will definitely be back.“
“I'm not from the area but stopped by to grab a bite. Talked to the owner. He's a nice guy. Food was great. Big serving. Please visit this place and support your local businesses. I was shocked to see the quality of the rice platter. It looked like basmati rice.“
“Love this place! The food is always fresh and tasty. Affordable and fast service, quick in and out. Love the white sauce on my rice and chicken platter. The sandwich and mango smoothie are good too. I come here often and the quality is consistent.“
“Amazing Israeli casual restaurant. 1) I got the Sabich, Chutzpah Fries, Hummus & Tahina topped w/ Falafel. 2) The Sabich is a Middle Eastern Jewish sandwich with origins with Iraqi Jews. It is very popular these days in Israel and its capital Jerusalem. 3) The ambiance inside is amazing. 4) They offer free lemon infused water. 5) I really liked the Israeli grape juice.“
“Jerusalem catered my son's Bris in Highland Park. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. David was a pleasure to work with and had great suggestions, and the worker who came to set up did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat!“
“We love the French Toast at Uncle Momo's and so as not to be gluttens, we order it as an appetizer for the table. It's incredibly yummy and creamy on the inside. It's the best I've ever had. As for their other brunch dishes, they're all extraordinary and I love that the menu is different from the other brunch menus in town. Sure, you can just get a plain omelet or scrambled eggs, but they have so much else. I do not know why there are lines outside of Toast on a Sunday but not Momo's. So much better in my opinion.“
“Amazing, does not do their shawarma justice. Very authentic , from the flavors to how packed and generous the portions are. Only complaint is you don’t have the pick of toppings such as pickled veggies for Ex.This is a welcoming establishment offering great eats for all cultures. There are no politics inside which I love , but they show the faces of innocent children, women and men who have suffered from savage acts.. this is a duty they don’t have to do but they choose to do it knowing the harassment they can face. It’s important for everyone of us Americans to understand what is happening and not let their pain and abuse go silentCan’t this recommend this place enough 10/10“
