“We decided to grab dinner here last minute and we really enjoyed it! For appetizers my husband ordered New England clam chowder while I ordered the lobster bisque - both were very large portions with tons of fresh clams and lobster chunks. We also split the garlic steamed clams which were delicious. For entrees, I ordered the salmon while my husband ordered the steak frites; everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We finished off with both raspberry and mango sorbet for dessert. Our server was attentive and personable. There was also live music offering a great ambiance. We can’t wait to come back for another great experience!“

“I have been trying to get a table her for awhile- the wait was well worth it! I had low expectations because the food quality at the jersey shore often disappoints. This place was extraordinary. A solid 10. I had the Halubut and my son the burger. When I finished my last bite- I could have cried. We ordered the Arancini balls for first course- we both took a bite and looked at each other, speechless. For dessert, the only choice was a carrot cake- which I normally would not order- but did. Like nothing I have ever had. Finally, our server was great- responsive, fun- nice and made great suggestions. You know it was a good meal when you wake up the next day thinking about it- and trying your figure out when you can get back there. Bravo, Grand Tavern?“

“I love this place. Sitting by it self away from the hustle and bustle from long branch shopping center, Rooney’s is king of oceanfront dining any season. We went in April, it’s awesome to have dinner indoors during winter months watching the ocean. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and upscale. The bar is huge. The angry lobster and char grilled oysters is a must try. My seven year old loved it. That alone tells you something. The drinks are awesome, service is impeccable. My personal shore fave❤️.“

“I was so impressed with The Squire, I had to write my very first review of a venue. On April 20, 2024, I held my daughter-in-law’s baby shower at The Squire at Branches in West Long Branch. NJ.My daughter-in-law saw an Instagram post on the restaurant, and we decided to schedule an appointment, as pictures can be deceiving. The venue was really very pretty. I always check out the restrooms in a restaurant or venue before making a decision – The Squires’ rest rooms were exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed with designer soap pumps and lotion and nice hand towels. We chose to have the shower on the restaurant side. The lobby was so lovely with a place for guests to take photos, a place for the welcome sign and seating chart / cards, etc. before entering the reception room for the shower. Artificial flowers hung from the ceiling giving it a soft elegant appearance. Each of the windows was adorn with flowers and candles as was the fireplace. Gorgeous room!We chose the Breakfast Brunch Menu for our guests. Although their Brunch menu is extensive, I chose to add an Omelet Station and an extra Hot Station. I probably didn't have to add anything extra as there was a lot of food! The presentation of all the stations, cold and hot, was exceptional! My guests kept raving about the food. Several went back for second and third helpings.I was told there would be a screen behind the hot station tables to hide any tables and chairs not in use. This was not just a plain old screen or room divider. It was a beautifully detailed wall that matched the other walls in the room. Again gorgeous! The sales manager, Stacie, was a pleasure to work with, and let’s not forget about the bartender and wait staff ladies. So very professional, helpful, and accommodating. Knowing that I was busy with my guests and activities, the staff was very attentive, always checking with me to see if I needed anything.I only wish I knew about The Squire at Branches before this year. Without a doubt, I would have held my other parties here too.“

“This was an absolute hidden gem! We were trying to find something midway for our friends meeting us and decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! Our waiter was super nice and provided great service. They even accommodated a special request of clams on the half shell, and they were great. Shrimp scampi over linguine was tasty and lobster ravioli was delicious and even came with half a lobster tail. Desserts were great too. Definitely will be back. Ambiance was a little dated, but it was clean including the bathrooms.“

“I absolutely loved it here. Drinks were good (got a frozen mango margarita & spiked strawberry/mint lemonade). Food was good (french onion soup, thai chili calamari, reuben sandwich, BLT burger). Service and ambiance were good. Prices are fair and the free popcorn? ? No complaints. This place is officially my/my bf's new spot.“

“I only had the beer so I cannot comment on the food, though...the reviews on that are fruitful and quite good.If you grew up in the Woodbridge-Metuchen-Edison area, you definitely hit up Hailey's on more than one occasion. D'Arcy's has the same vibe, just closer to the Jersey shore. "Football" scarves are in abundance, great crowd, great beer. What more could you ask for? The Irish are the best...or maybe I'm just a little biased. Slainte.“

“Everything was amazing from start to finish. The margaritas were a delicious as always. For appetizers we had the cheese curds which we always get and love especially the roost sauce. Along with trying something new and the pierogies, the carmelized onion reduction did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I split the burger which is by far our absolute favorite. Then we went with the chocolate chip cookies and milkshake for dessert which was so yummy. We also had the absolute sweetest and nicest waitress! Thank you for a wonderful date night dinner and dining experience!“

“Barside service is great, dining room decent. Food is sometimes amazing, sometimes mediocre. Fried chicken tends to be on the dry side. “Really excellent meal with beautiful views. Both Manhattan and New England clam chowders are great as are the biscuits for dipping. The hot lobster roll is tasty and the coleslaw, that you can get with the meal, is great also. The broiled scallops were delicious and the sauteed spinach done perfectly. Look forward to returning and trying something different.Parking: A good amount of parking, although I could see it being difficult when busyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and seating available“

“Grabbed a drink here before a show at Count Basie. Greeted promptly by the bartender, asked if I wanted another round with great timing, she was friendly and courteous. Pricing was fair. The bar was a bit busy but probably because there was a show that night. Didn't rate the food because I didn't eat here.“

“They charge you on soda refills which was $3.50 a pop. It should be noted they charge for refills. I didn't see any notation on the menu. I may have missed it, but next time I'll order only one. It is BYOB place. I wonder if I can bring a soda??“

“My friends and I came here for brunch a few weekends ago and it was a great experience. We went to brunch on the earlier side and thankfully, we didn't have to wait at all for a table. Our waiter was wonderful and helped to walk us through the menu. We ordered a number of things off the menu; the tres leche donut which was delicious, the grilled cheese & tomato bisque, the dressed greens salad, the brunch pie and the salmon lox toast. Everything that we had was very good and filling! The added bonus was that there was a live jazz band playing in the main room of the restaurant and was so lovely to listen to. I'd absolutely come back here again!“

“Just had our wedding reception here after having our official ceremony in Vegas two weeks before. We wanted something that did not feel super stuffy and formal since we were not having a ceremony and were technically already married but still wanted it to feel upscale and beautiful. Russell and his staff exceeded all expectations. They are kind, attentive, and professional. Every single person working made sure to check on me (the bride) and made sure our needs (and guests) were well taken care of! The food and cocktails were exceptional and all of our guests reviewed it as one of their all time favorite weddings. If you’re looking for something more intimate and beautiful than a traditional ballroom setting this is place to have your wedding.“

“Friendliest bar in Monmouth County. Focus is on the genuine, rather than the pretty. If you care about the décor, go elsewhere. If you care about non-pretentious, friendly folks, and cheap drinks, and good, down-to-earth food, this place is tough to beat.“

“Thank you for helping make the evening and birthday we were celebrating a very enjoyable evening. Our server was attentive and polite. The hostess was helpful to add our decorations in advance to our table and sit our party on time. The food was spot on as always and the kitchen was accomodating to gluten allergy. The drinks were great and came quickly from the bar to our table. We always enjoy Robinson's Ale House in Red Bank because it provides a consistently good service and food/drinks for a decent value. The place is lively, especially on weekend evenings, but the noise level did not prevent our party of 6 from having conversation.“
