“We decided to grab dinner here last minute and we really enjoyed it! For appetizers my husband ordered New England clam chowder while I ordered the lobster bisque - both were very large portions with tons of fresh clams and lobster chunks. We also split the garlic steamed clams which were delicious. For entrees, I ordered the salmon while my husband ordered the steak frites; everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We finished off with both raspberry and mango sorbet for dessert. Our server was attentive and personable. There was also live music offering a great ambiance. We can’t wait to come back for another great experience!“

“This was our 5th time dining at Angelica’s and food was excellent! Every time we go we try something new and each time we think it gets better and better . When you hear the specials of the night , your mouth is watering before the waiter is finished telling you, and I make him repeat it a million times because I want to order everything. The service was wonderful , the Maitre d’ s are always making sure you are comfortable and everything is perfection . (Carlos )our waiter is so attentive and accommodating, goes above and beyond . The ambiance was perfect … love the outside seating , so romantic, and beautiful.. (my favorite ) blankets , heaters, just so cozy , love love love that outside garden dining . ( feels like NYC ) .Overall, our experiences have been incredible. Lastly , the best of the best BYOB!!“

“I love this place. Sitting by it self away from the hustle and bustle from long branch shopping center, Rooney’s is king of oceanfront dining any season. We went in April, it’s awesome to have dinner indoors during winter months watching the ocean. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and upscale. The bar is huge. The angry lobster and char grilled oysters is a must try. My seven year old loved it. That alone tells you something. The drinks are awesome, service is impeccable.My personal shore fave❤️.“

“Had my daughters communion there this weekend and all I gotta say is the renovation at this venue is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the reviews from my guests were continuous about how much they loved it. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the ham was life changing. They also catered to my gluten free guests as well. They place is huge and there is so much room for activities especially if you got kids running around. If you are planning a wedding, a birthday or a communion like me or anything that requires a hall then look no further. Branches is the way to go. “My wife and I went to Christines last night, on recommendations from many, to celebrate her birthday. Wow. Met at the door by the owner, Ron. Big personality that was both genuine and welcoming. He and the staff made my wife feel extra special! The food was what I was expecting, given all the reviews from friends, authentic and delicious! “Fabulously romantic restaurant. White table clothes. Romantic music. Small cozy restaurant. Food is fabulous. Valet parking. I can't say enough wonderful things about the place. So glad we discovered it. This is truly a hidden gem. My husband was thrilled they carry Blanton's bourbon. Very classy. Very elegant. The halibut covered in cream and lump crab was amazing. The drinks were fabulous. The wine was our favorite. The Italian cheesecake was light and fluffy. The decaf cappuccino was the best we have ever had and it was wonderfully super hot. Just the best!“

“BEST lobster outside Maine & I've Summered in Maine since 1961. I only order the Connecticut roll, warm, dripping with large buttery pieces of claw & chopped tail on a traditional soft lobster roll. Delicious! Better flavor, fresher than lobster at the shore's best known seafood restaurants. And a few $ cheaper. I tried the mac & cheese w/ lobster once but frankly, lobster is way too delicate to drown in that sandwich, but it was a noble sandwich for fans. I stick to exactly 1 thing now: 5 stars for their CT lobster roll at Cousins truck, Brick, NJ.“

“Fun, casual place with a water view. Near the Seastreak dock in the Highlands. The food is great, with a full bar and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Outdoor bar and seating in summer. Upstairs but there is an elevator. Can be a little noisy but hey, people are enjoying themselves!! “Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.“

Very juicy and cooked to order.Fries were ok, but cheese sauce felt cloying in my mouth. Buffalo tenders were run of the mill frozen tenders with jar sauce. *Shrug*.Small eating area in store - don't assume you'll be able to get a seat.My recommendation would be to stick to the juicy burgers medium rare and simple fries. “WOW! Proving Grounds was recommended by a friend who is from New Jersey and I work with in Indiana. She was correct...the food was great! The water view was exactly what I want. At first it was just supposed to be me and my Mom, but once other family members get involved, the group finished at 10 people. Proving Grounds was so helpful in making the changes and took GREAT care of us upon arrival. 10 people and each person loved their meal! That says a lot. The brunch drinks were great too. I wish I remembered the servers name (male) because he was awesome. He was prompt and communicated everything perfectly. Thank you!“

“Wow, I’ve eaten a lot of seafood in my day, but this place definitely tops it for me! A completely fresh and scratch kitchen. The menu is extremely innovative and delicious!I thoroughly enjoyed the bao buns, and also the mussels they came in an amazing creamy sauce, with bread for dipping, absolute perfection!I love the Aji tuna sandwich, it came with waffle fries, my absolute favorite! The drinks are also amazing as well such as the boyfriend material, trust me just get it!“

Well, back after a year and the place got a much deserved makeover inside and out - Food is still great - brought friends who enjoyed the onion soup and the chicken and fish française. Literally the waitress got orders wrong because she couldn't hear. If we were outside the main dining area it would have been fine. Definitely a place worth going to for the view!! I was sorely disappointed, especially for $14. They had a decent taste but they were so hard and cold. Used to churros being soft in the middle. Some were even burnt so I'm hoping that maybe it was just an off day. If your looking for amazing churros... Mainstay in asbury has the best churros! Hands down“

“Barnacle Bill’s is an absolute staple of the Rumson area and is a must visit. It’s a bar/tavern/grog shop that is somewhat trapped in time but in the absolute best way. It’s dark, loud and crowded but it just feels perfect. Burgers are charbroiled and the steak fries are great. Service is surprisingly good and the people watching is even better. I’m really happy places like this still exist.“
