“I am leaving a production catering review. My Kitchen Witch provided catering to a large production crew and security where I work (a large historical building on Wall Street). I couldn't believe how quick and professional that My Kitchen Witch was in set-up, the meals, and the breakdown of their service. The food was excellent, especially the pork carnitas and Mexican street corn! I definitely highly recommend and would love to head to their cafe in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey!“

“We decided to grab dinner here last minute and we really enjoyed it! For appetizers my husband ordered New England clam chowder while I ordered the lobster bisque - both were very large portions with tons of fresh clams and lobster chunks. We also split the garlic steamed clams which were delicious. For entrees, I ordered the salmon while my husband ordered the steak frites; everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We finished off with both raspberry and mango sorbet for dessert. Our server was attentive and personable. There was also live music offering a great ambiance. We can’t wait to come back for another great experience!“

“This is one of the best Indian Restaurants in Monmouth County. From the moment you walk in to the moment you pay for the bill, the staff here take such amazing care of you as if you are one of their own. The food is also of such impeccable quality-the staff here really put the time, effort, and care to go above and beyond with preparing their dishes. “This was our 5th time dining at Angelica’s and food was excellent! Every time we go we try something new and each time we think it gets better and better . When you hear the specials of the night , your mouth is watering before the waiter is finished telling you, and I make him repeat it a million times because I want to order everything. The service was wonderful , the Maitre d’ s are always making sure you are comfortable and everything is perfection . (Carlos )our waiter is so attentive and accommodating, goes above and beyond . The ambiance was perfect … love the outside seating , so romantic, and beautiful.. (my favorite ) blankets , heaters, just so cozy , love love love that outside garden dining . ( feels like NYC ) .Overall, our experiences have been incredible. Lastly , the best of the best BYOB!!“

“Our server kevin (I think, idk 3 days off training) was phenomenal, knew the menu impressively well for 3 days out of training. Extremely personable and soft genuine pleasant personality. As someone who served upscale for 10 years, he will be an asset!!…. Food was delicious! Green falafel and octopus were our favorite.“

“I have been trying to get a table her for awhile- the wait was well worth it! I had low expectations because the food quality at the jersey shore often disappoints. This place was extraordinary. A solid 10. I had the Halubut and my son the burger. When I finished my last bite- I could have cried. We ordered the Arancini balls for first course- we both took a bite and looked at each other, speechless. For dessert, the only choice was a carrot cake- which I normally would not order- but did. Like nothing I have ever had. Finally, our server was great- responsive, fun- nice and made great suggestions. You know it was a good meal when you wake up the next day thinking about it- and trying your figure out when you can get back there. Bravo, Grand Tavern?“

“Paneer Tika masala was average, dal tadka was not flavor full at all. And kadhai chicken was also mid. The service was really poor by Manjuli but the owner is very nice and respectful. The service was poor because when the food came it was very cold and not good.“

“I love this place. Sitting by it self away from the hustle and bustle from long branch shopping center, Rooney’s is king of oceanfront dining any season. We went in April, it’s awesome to have dinner indoors during winter months watching the ocean. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and upscale. The bar is huge. The angry lobster and char grilled oysters is a must try. My seven year old loved it. That alone tells you something. The drinks are awesome, service is impeccable.My personal shore fave❤️.“

“Have visited BBP many times and have never been disappointed with the selection of fine brews.. It was a nice day so they had the garage doors open and seating out back available which made for a perfect environment. Brought my own sandwich to enjoy in their comfortable setting and was enhanced by the tasty beers on tap. Great job BBP.“

“I've been living down by the Shore for over a decade and had the best breakfast of my Life here!!! Today I had Dave's Homemade Corned Beef Hash with all the bells and whistles: poached eggs, asparagus, Swiss, hollandaise...Absolutely delicious! Everything my wife and I tried was amazing: the biscuits with cinnamon honey butter, the coffee cake and the pancakes. Highly recommend The Buttered Biscuit. Service was also amazing.“

“The Cooper Sharp cheesesteak and triple smash are absolutely out of this world. Best smash burger I've ever had and I've had quite a few. My only complaint is that they aren't open 7 days a week. “My wife and I went to Christines last night, on recommendations from many, to celebrate her birthday. Wow. Met at the door by the owner, Ron. Big personality that was both genuine and welcoming. He and the staff made my wife feel extra special! The food was what I was expecting, given all the reviews from friends, authentic and delicious! “This is now our new favorite restaurant. Fabulous home made pasta. Unbelievable drinks. Great vibe. Love the white tablecloths. The waiter was amazing! We will definitely be back. You would never know from the outside what a great restaurant it is, but never judge a book by its cover, right??? They have been here 20 years and I can't believe I never knew about this great restaurant! After dinner we moved to the bar for after dinner drinks. The bartender was great. Surprisingly we were the only couple in the dining area and 11 other women at the other tables. It got really loud because the floor is tile. When we moved to the bar area it was much quieter and that's where we discovered all the couples quietly eating dinner at the bar. Note to self the dining room can get loud!!! The music is so soothing. What a wonderful restaurant! Did I say that already!!! The center pieces are fig buds. We saw the chef cutting herbs outside before the restaurant opened. How cool is that!!!!“

“We have been to Fresh a number of times, they consistently have excellent food and the staff is great. The atmosphere is relaxed, maybe a little loud, but that is because everyone is having a great time. I know we always have a great time there, we will continue going.“

“Had the chef’s special …Chicken Pot Pie. It was outstanding!! Full of chicken and vegetables and this delicious sauce. I was a little concerned that the crust was thick but I had it with the sauce…it was perfect. Samosas were very flavorful as well. The chef even gave me a tasting of his pistachio cheesecake while I waited. It was to die for!! I will definitely be eating there again. You should too!!“

“So glad to find a place that makes gluten free dairy free pizza that is so good. With certain dietary restrictions it can be so hard to eat out and maintain the way I like to eat. “This place is a gem. I stopped in with my family when we were traveling through NJ, and I honestly wish this was closer to where I actually live. The menu seems to have EVERYTHING, and usually places with a large menu aren't able to deliver on quality, but the 4 of us ordered a good amount of food, and everything was great. It can also be a bit tricky for us to agree on a restaurant--I'm vegan, and we have someone on a low-carb diet and a pescatarian--but here we found plenty of options for all of us. It's also a BYOB, which I always like. The Lime Sumac salad dressing and the za'atar for the manakish were delicious. Everything with eggplant was excellent. I had the Koshari Famous vegan dish (lentils and chickpeas in tomato sauce are some of my favorite things) and we also ordered the beef moussaka, seafood medley and sea bass, plus a number of hot appetizers, and there was not a single disappointing dish. Dessert and the specially spiced coffee are also very much worth trying, and the owner is really nice. I will definitely look for an opportunity to return when I'm next in the area.“

“We found this spot last minute because the pizza place we were headed to had a 30+ minute wait- and I’m so glad they did because the food was fabulous. I’ve lived in the area for over 40 years and go to the same places that have become Jersey shore institutions when we get the thin crust pizza craving but La Lupa rates above them all. We ordered the mussels marinara, chicken and margarita pizza, garlic knots that were the size of my hand and even dessert! Just wow. The staff and possibly owner were super welcoming, friendly and we just could not get over how attentive they were. He made the marinara extra spicy for me for my mussels and the sauce even challenged my Nona’s (sorry Nona). The thin crust pizza was wonderful. Just the right amount of toppings, great sauce and wonderful dough/crust. We loved the food so much we asked if they deliver to ensure this becomes are go to pizza delivery from now on! The only reason they got 4 stars for atmosphere is because it’s a small little place with minimal tables as it’s a pizza place from a venue perspective with restaurant menu that I can’t wait to continue to try!“

The setup & decor of the restaurant had its own unique charm that preserved history while balancing modern hospitality. Staff were attentive and made good recommendations—one of which was the lobster ravioli—the best I’ve had! These were jumbo and filled with real lobster, in an addictive creamy sauce topped with shrimp and scallops—highly recommend!! Their appetizer special of the Buffalo mozzarella was also a hit too. “We were looking for a quick dinner and stumbled upon this place last night (03/13) during our visit to NJ and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! We ordered the K8 plate. The chicken and lamb were both succulent and delicious, the rice was flavorful and seasoned well, the side salad had a hint of grape leaves and complimented the meal perfectly. It also came with a yogurt sauce and hot sauce; the hot sauce was not overtly spicy but had some heat as an aftertaste which I personally loved. The place is not too fancy, and the meal was served in disposable containers. But the staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean overall. Would I return/recommend? Absolutely! If we're ever back in this area, I would come again for a quick meal.“
