“This is my favorite place to eat I probably go four times a week. The staff is amazing and so friendly every time without fail. The food is so good i could eat it every day and never get sick of it. So fresh and delicious.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac, which means I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons, and they accommodate me every time. They change their gloves for me and get me all food from the back to make sure there’s no cross contamination. The staff is so patient with me. They know who I am because of how often I go and they immediately take their gloves off to change them the minute i walk in the door. If you’re a celiac don’t be afraid to eat here!“

“Always great food and a favorite. We've been getting takeout here for years since we moved to the area during the pandemic.The red lentil soup is my favorite and the spanakopita is amazing! We've had most items on the menu, you really can't go wrong. I prefer the Chicken Shih which is grilled and marinated chicken over the Chicken Gyro but they are both good. My husband enjoys the lamb.Because the dinning room isn't open yet and the blinds often closed, I think a lot of folks don't know it's open. It's a hidden gem in Ramsey and right near the train station.“

“We had our baby's first birthday party / Korean dohljanchi at Mado and it could not have been more perfect. Aret and everyone at the restaurant were so wonderful to work with. They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. “Fantastic experience. We had reservations for a party of 6 and from the moment we stepped inside the service was impeccable. The fried cheese appetizer is outstanding, and our meals were delicious. Our waiter was very accommodating since we had a couple of vegans and the menu is predominantly seafood and meat. The Greek wines were also delicious. The overall vibe was great as well. Very bright and clean at 5:30 that evolved into a cool/trendy vibe as the night went on with darker lighting and candles. The restaurant was pretty full for a Tuesday evening. Very nice experience.“

“Came in for the first time. The place is clean and well decorated. Nick (behind the counter) allowed me a few moments to browse the menu and then greeted me. We talked it through from beginning to end and he politely provided his recommendations based on what I said I liked EVEN down to which dressing to choose so as not to combine too many salty flavors based on my other choices. The food was outstanding. I had the create your own bowl: octopus & shrimp. For a quick healthy lunch spot this place is 5/5. Food & genuine service ?.“

“Just had Yasou Thasos for the first time today (the bifteki gyro) and it was great! It’s the kind of food that puts a smile on your face after you’ve taken the first bite. The lady who took my order was also very welcoming and attentive. I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu.“

“I love the fact that they're open for breakfast and lunch for the days I need to get a late breakfast or early lunch and lunch places aren't open until after 11. I always get their traditional gyro, but I recently tried their butternut squash soup and loved it. I'm definitely going to have to get more of it the next time I go just to take home. Not much of an "atmosphere" but to be fair a lot of places with a lot of take out don't have much atmosphere, but the staff are nice and have character.“

Had the chilean sea bass & i was blown away - i often get the bronzino but wanted to switch it up & i was not disappointed in the least. “Greek village before covid was awesome huge portions fairly reasonable price. Like everything else higher prices and less food. I got gyro platter it tasted fine it was good but all it was was one pita which is fine and gyro meet that would barely make a descent sandwich a small piece of zucchini big deal and a grilled onion ring and a regular order of fries 27$ including tip. It was good but now I'm going for pizza. If you don't mind the smaller portions are the high prices it's fine. Food was good wish they made the portions like they used to“

“Great food and service. Employees care about the customers wants and give perfect recommendations for first timers (which we were). We were so thankful that they were open on Christmas as not many businesses are. The inside of the restaurant feels like you're being transported to Greece. The food was the tastiest Greek food I had ever tasted. Definitely would like to come back.“
