“Twelve Islands is always terrific. The service is uniformly good. I love the food. The lamb chops are delicious as is the souvlaki. We like to start with the tirokafteri dip and also the grilled cheese saganaki. It is not inexpensive (the souvlaki is though!) - but the food is great.... Enjoy!“

“Authentic Greek food down to the water. Super professional Gyros. Everything was delicious and Fresh. I tried a chicken Gyro and a Lamb Gyro. Both were the best i’ve ever had. The meat was seasoned perfect and tender. Gyros were filled to the max and were very filling with tzatziki sauce, lettuce , tomato , onion and even some French fries. I also had fried Lobster claws with a Remoulade sauce over cabbage slaw which was absolutely phenomenal and a chicken Souvlaki platter which was just as good as everything else. I didn’t make it to dessert but they had plenty of options from salads , Gyros, Greek platters and even flatbreads. I will definitely be back to try other things. Friendly service and lots of seating.“

“Can’t really answer the Atmosphere question as I always get it to go but seems that folks like it because I always see tables occupied. “Absolutely adore the owners . Food is literally Manhattan quality gourmet food to me . That's where I'm originally from . Lol . The owner is amazing hands on , he cooks he is fully hands on with each customer ALWAYS !!. His daughter is a beautiful delight to have as waitress an everything she does not only being such a fun young woman she does anything needed around the family restaurant. I'm always given something free while I'm there an treated as I personally know these beautiful humans. I do not know them! Just an amazing experience all around . Must try“
“The food is solid. Had a falafel sandwich and hummus. They both were very good. My daughter and son had chicken and beef shawarma sandwiches and enjoyed them. The server was very sweet and kind and took good care of us. We are used to the location in Metuchen which is nicer inside. The seating was rather pedestrian. I think they were having problems with their exhaust, as there was an unpleasant smoke from the grill wafting in the air. “Stopped by Summit Greek Grill while killing some time in the neighborhood before I had to head over to Newark airport. The menu is pretty massive with a good mix of American, Greek, and middle eastern food. The place was decently packed with takeout orders, but not too many people sitting inside. The interior is pretty nice with lots of space, good natural lighting, and rather clean. You order here at the front and then sit down and they'll bring you your food. I ordered two of my favorite foods - avgolemono and a gyro pita. The avgolemono was good, but I'd leave it at just good - although it's one of my favorite soups generally, I probably would try something different next time. The gyro pita was also just good - I'd say it definitely could use more sauce. It was tasty but definitely on the drier side for most gyros I've eaten. Not a bad stop at all, and clearly a popular destination for the community!“
