“After seeing some bad reviews on this place, I had to give it a try. The service was great and I didn’t have any problems ordering my food. The person working behind the counter was very professional and nice to me. The sesame chicken was honestly the best I’ve had in this area and the crab ragoon was also perfect. It’s always sad to see people leaving such nasty reviews on a place that actually has great food. I will be back.Parking: Big parking lot out front with about 40 spots. This lot doesn’t ever fill up“
“I got their chicken wings to go, although I probably should not have. It comes in a takeout box, a few small wings covered in a thick, sticky sauce. This tasted good, but you don't get all that much meat from the wings. Afterwards, my hands were very sticky and I really didn't need that.“
“Flavorful, well prepared food attended by friendly staff. Beef with broccoli, Szechuan Bean Curd, fried dumplings were delicious. Rich flavors enhanced by the smokiness of the wok. The hot and sour soup was just average. The establishment is very clean and the prices are reasonable. Our new go-to Chinese takeout restaurant.“
“Dinner with friends on a Saturday evening. Small, intimate restaurant, recommend making reservations. Service was a bit slow but we didn’t mind (better than being rushed). Great food, nice staff. Very busy takeoutDietary restrictions: Very accommodating, our friend has a severe allergy to nuts and shellfish which we told our waitress beforehand“
“It’s decent. Ordered based off of previous reviews but it’s decent, not bad…just okay I would not return. Order their ‘Chinese’ food for lunch, 3 lunches. Kung Lao was pale and without spice, which was unusual but it wasn’t bad just different.Sesame chicken is breast meat but was dry in my opinion…But try for yourself! You may enjoy it, for the price I’m not disappointed. Like I said decent.*disclaimer: I have a well-traveled palate“
“Do not hesitate bring an appetite and go. The food was excellent as was the service and the decor, mellow super nice , welcoming vibe & worth a return visit. My date had the Ahi tuna that was cooked to perfection I had the salmon cedar plank also melt in your mouth delicious. Go & enjoy, everything was great.“
“Since moving to the area almost 6 years ago I have been trying to find the best Chinese take out, and I've finally found it! I got the orange chicken, crab rangoon and their homemade ice tea. All of it was delicious and the workers are very friendly“
“We family moved to NJ for almost 2years, every weekend we have a dinner at Chef Zhang with my friend family. We all love Chef Zhang and definitely sure this is the best Chinese restaurant around south New Jersey. And servers all also good they didn’t disturb you when we ate food. Because I don’t like be disturbed during eating. Love Chef Zhang very much, Wish their business always good !“
“I am pretty partial about my Chinese food, and most places are terrible. In NY I hit like 40 places before I found the 1 that was leagues past everyone else. This is decently close to us, and has a good street vibe and an even better one inside. My wife orders, and I go pick it up. They are pretty friendly. Last time I was there as a guy walked in, hey Phil, your bill is $27 tonight before he said anything or the door closing behind him. That is a great sign that they know their customers and they have so many repeats. I sadly have not found something that really excites me on the menu yet, but I do live their Chinese Pizza / Scallion Pancake, Pizza Egg Rolls which have cheese and gravy (sauce) inside. Their Donuts are pretty amazing as well. Lomeins are pretty solid! Chicken is good, its just not the standard that I am looking for. I am probably shooting too high for the area lol! I have tried a few of their entrees, but nothing really wows me. I have had a few of their dishes and they are all decent. We tried a few other restaurants in the area, and most were worse than here. My wife and FiL really enjoy this place! Inside is your typical middle high end Chinese restaurant with the dark aesthetic. Typical adornments with the smiling cat with the waving paw etc. I did not check it out too much, usually I run in, pay and run out, but one day I would like to come sit here for a meal, once I find what I want haha!!!“
“My wife & I ordered from there for the first, & definitely not last, time today. After reading the reviews people had left online. We had to check it out for ourselves... we were not disappointed at all !! I ordered shrimp fried rice, i finally found a place that doesn't give you those puny like shrimp that you need to sift through your food to find. They were plentiful & huge. This is now my goto place when I'm hungry.. I briefly got to meet the infomus "SONNY". A very nice dude with a great personality. He keeps in mind one of the most important parts of running a buissness.. CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! He cares wether or not his customers are happy. A rare thing these days..“
“I recently ordered from here and the food was excellent. It was very fresh and super tasty. I ordered the combo meals (with different chickens), chicken with broccoli, and Lomein. Although all the food was fresh and good I think this was the best lomein I’ve had in a while! The service was very quick too. The food was ready at the time I ordered it for and pick up was super simple!“
“I have been eating here since the 90’s and I have recently came back to visit my family and had to order here and the food is still delicious. The general tso chicken could be better but overall everything was good especially the wings and shrimp egg rolls. The service, and wait time is good. Also My parents love this place and eat here quite a bit.“
“I love this restaurant!! The food is always good and consistently good too I haven't had anything from them that I didn't like. I've never had an issue with my order either. THE staff is always so kind and respectful and they always provide grear customer service. I drive almost 40mins just to get food from here and to visit my friend here she's so sweet and polite. The restaurant is always clean and has a comfortable vibe if you ever want to dine in. This is a place I would recommend 1000 times and have recommended to anyone I know looking for good food.“
“Home town favorite. Been going here many many years! Best customer service from Ted and his wife. So stop by and say hello. Best general tsos in South Jersey! Now that I live in DC with horrible Chinese eateries and a fake Chinatown. I miss Shanghai express even more.“
“Their food is just DELICIOUS their service is very awesome and great they always make you feel welcome you should DEFINITELY give it a try you will definitely come back againVegetarian options: They have vegetable only sections if I can rememberKid-friendliness: Their very kind and talk about great topics sometimesDietary restrictions: They have a steamed only sections“
“The BEST food ever, hubby, one daughter and myself had Chinese and my older daughter had Japanese food. Chinese food was so good very light but filling and the sushi was so fresh and good my daughter said it was the best she ever had. Don’t hesitate definitely try it, you’ll love it also!“
“I was out running errands which brought me to USPS this place is a few stores down. They don’t take debit only cash. The male owner didn’t speak much yet he was very polite, smiled, and very patient as we decided what to order. We ordered the Ribs, eggrolls shrimp & pork, pork fried rice, white rice, and orange chicken. When going to a new place I usually order extra or two meals. We had leftovers and the food was still really good the next day. Pork fried rice was flavorful and buttery. Ribs were perfect! Eggrolls were crispy and freshly made, you can tell they weren’t sitting out. Orange chicken was good and not over cooked or cut too small like some places. Def will go back to this spot! You can’t dine in do we got it to go!“
“Shockingly good! You would never expect the quality of food from the outside but we made it our Chinese New Year location for this year and wow, the food blew our family away. Definitely get the no name shrimp.Despite ordering seafood items, the chef was careful and prepared non-seafood dishes without contamination for our highly allergic guest.“
“We chose to celebrate my husband's birthday here. We ordered a lot of dishes, including Boneless Spare Ribs and Shrimp W. Garlic Sauce, Boneless Spare Ribs... They are all very delicious. We are very satisfied, and my husband is also very happy.“
“Just got an order from here because I was in the mood for something new and man did I make a good decision. Food was absolutely delicious, some of the best Chinese I've had in a while, very picky. Will definitely be a returning customer ?“
“This place and its people were so welcoming. Once I walked inI was instantly greeted and served! I called beforehand to see if they were open and a very respectful young boy answered the phone and answered my questions with ease and grace! 10/10 would eat here again.“
“My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“
“We keep ordering because the food is very good. Veggie dumplings - tasty, love the dipping sauce. Crispy veggie rolls. Sweet and sour chicken - my daughter loves. S and S shrimp - very tasty and not overly battered. Their shrimp chow mein takes me back to my childhood. Just ordered delivery (7:30 PM on a Tuesday night, arrived piping hot). Our family loves this place. Looking to try more dishes in the near future.“
“Only place that makes the BEST general tso chicken! Their fried dumplings are AMAZING too! Been my go to place for the past few years! They do a very good job at listening to special order request hence I hate onions I order it without there is not even one onion in my entree! Also it’s a very family atmosphere! More so I take out place than sit down and eat in. I wish the parking was better but for food like this I will deal with the hassle!“
“Whenever I drive down Rt. 73, I have to stop at PF Changs because it is my go-to place for consistantly fantastic food, always hot and tasty. The staff is attentive and the management goes out of their way to ensure a perfect experience!Parking: Never an issue finding a spotKid-friendliness: Although my child is no longer a "toddler" this restaurant is very friendly for kids of all ages“
“For the type of place this is, Joe's peking duck house is terrific! I went for lunch and the specials are very tasty and very reasonably priced. The wait staff is attentive and timely, and the atmosphere of the place is what you'd expect for a small Asian cuisine restaurant that is quite busy. Realistically speaking, it's not a rainforest cafe scale thing, and to be honest, I prefer more straight forward and to the point restaurants than that, and the owner even paid our table a visit and was very friendly and interested in creating a positive experience.“
“The Wonton Soup was ok – the Hot and Sour Soup was betterThe chicken Lo Mein was really goodVegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available on the menuParking: Lots of free parking available in a parking lot shared with adjacent businesses and restaurants“
“Their food is excellent. I would rate it the best Chinese store in the Burlington county. Their food taste authentic and fresh every time and they never forget items. You rarely see people who care about giving costumers excellent food every single time.“
“We had a big order and everything was really good. Singapore Mei fun extra spicy was awesome Beef egg Foo young was good Generals tso chicken. There sauce was not as thick as others I've had. Breading was a tad heavy Vegetable delight was really tasty.“
“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable only dishes. And tofu mealsWheelchair accessibility: Not much room inside... small vestibule“
“My family has been picking up take out from the other King Wong location on route 70 now for years, but this was my first experience at this location. I figured our experience would be positive since the restaurants are under the same ownership. Sonny is a great guy and every time I interact with him he is happy and up beat. No Sonny this time but our experience was still great. We ordered an egg roll, small pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and an egg drop wonton soup (yes you read the last part correctly and it's great (upon request)). There isn't really any place to sit and eat in the restaurant so I'd consider them strictly take out (they also do not deliver). Inside the restaurant itself is small and very We were told 10 minutes for pick up by the time we ordered and it was ready in 10 minutes. The total came to slightly over $30 and was well worth it. Food was hot. It all tasted delicious. Portions were very generous. I had Mongolian beef leftovers for 2 consecutive days after eating that night and the pork fried rice was protruding out of the top of the container and the lid barely closed. The Mongolian beef was loaded with green onions (one of my favorites), the beef was tender, and it was spicy! The dish came with plenty of white rice which also lasted me through the next day. The pork fried rice was a beautiful golden-brown and flavorful. The wontons were tasty and perfectly cooked. I've actually never heard of combining egg drop and wonton soup but my girlfriend loves it and King Wong does it upon request. Our order came with 3 fortune cookies, a bag of fried noodles, and the sauces (duck, soy, hot mustard, hot sauce) were next to the counter to take yourself. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall with other businesses. Our experience was very good and my girlfriend orders from here often. We'll definitely be back again.“
“the food is alright. I havent eaten here in at least 20 yrs and the food always tastes the same.My favorite in Medford is Davids fortune cookie, but Im partial because both of my sons worked there when they were younger. the foods there had a bit more flavor.Anyway, Mr china............... the food is alright, the people are friendly but remember it is only takeout. no eating in. Also I had a bit of sticker shock on the pricing, but I know it is that way everywhere today.Thank you Brandon!“
“Love the cheesesteak egg rolls from this place. I haven’t tried a ton of stuff from here, I mostly stick to beef or chicken & broccoli, fried rice and egg rolls but I’d say it’s definitely one of the best out of the bunch in the area.“
“We recently decided to try this Chinese restaurant. Since moving from North Jersey to South Jersey several years ago, we have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that knew how how make Chicken Chow Mein. Most make what I would call onion soup - it is all onions, with some carrots and very juicy. You NEVER put carrots in Chicken Chow Mein. The May Flower knows how make Chicken Chow Mein that tastes the way it should. Adding extra chicken puts this meal over the top!! We also like their Shrimp Lo Mein. We are anxious to venture further and try additional menu items. If you want Chinese food made the way it should be, this is the place for you. We had our food delivered and were very pleased with their own pleasant, efficient and quick delivery service. We will continue to order from them and may even come in to enjoy their excellent food.“
“First time having use this restaurant for delivery. Food was fresh and excellent. Can’t say enough about it. Everything tasted authentic and the portions were plentiful. We had wonton egg drop soup, pu pu platter for two, and shrimp toast. Looking forward To ordering from them again. In addition, the delivery driver was also very pleasant“
“Hi Chanel Wiggins,During the time that you called to place your order, we were very busy and was waiting on the phone to end so we could attend to the customers in the store. We had to hang up so we could keep business moving and not have people stuck waiting on the call. There were several people waiting to use their card, but the phone line has the same connection as the machine, so people were waiting on the call to end and there were also several people in the store waiting to place in their order. While we were on the phone with you, you were unsure of what to order as we tried to figure out what you wanted, so we spent a lot of time to figure out what you wanted to order while it was busy. We couldn’t afford to sacrifice more time so we needed to hang up for everyone else who was waiting. You also ordered the same food from us two days in a row so I’m not sure why the food was suddenly inedible. We also explained that there was a $16 minimum for a delivery, so we were unable to deliver only a small order of Tofu with fried rice because it was too small. If you didn’t like the food, you could have called us back so we can find a solution for the problem. We will either replace your order with a new one so in case the old one was not edible for some reason, or we could’ve issued a refund.“
“I love this place! Not only is the food super tasty, but the owner is so sweet. She sells homemade crafts and succulents, which I love! <3Dietary restrictions: There is a "diet menu" for those looking to eat healthier/consume fewer calories!“
“Food is good, plenty of seafood: snowcrab legs, mussels, big prawns, oysters... Excellent for the price, $20/person for dinner menu! I went there again for an all day dinner price on Valentine's Day 2024. Still just $21.06 per person for the dinner menu. Full of seafood dishes.“
