“Ever since we learned about Enzo's delivery to Long Valley we've tried to order at least once every other week. The food from Enzo's is excellent. Whoever comes up with the special menu does such a nice job putting together meals that aren't typical "Italian pizzeria" food. Very well thought out, fresh, and creative dishes. The food is never overly salty or greasy. Bravo Enzo!“

“Been on my list to visit for a very long time. So glad I got to visit and taste a bunch of their beers. Place is super cozy with lots of seating. The outdoor area looked really nice too, but it was too cold to use. Had a flight and like all 4 beers and then followed up with a few glasses which were also excellent. Enjoyed the live music too. “Awesome place with amazing pizza. I love the Sicilian with peppers, onions and pepperoni. I just wish they had rice balls available and didn't use that bbq tasting Cluck You sauce on their buffalo wings. I always ask for my wings naked so I can toss them in real buffalo sauce when I get home. Also a great place to have a beer while you're waiting for takeout.“

“Came here with my family for a goodbye dinner, and I have to say it was quite cozy and cute inside. They are a BYOB restaurant, so we brought our own wine and our waiter opened and poured it for us throughout the visit making sure our glasses were always full. I strongly suggest they type up the specials for people to read and to view prices. The waiter told us the specials from memory; so of course, all three of us had questions to ask and the waiter was getting angry that we couldn’t remember all of what he just said. After we order, we receive these absolutely delicious breadsticks and they were gracious enough to bring out seconds! I ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, I thought they were really tasty and juicy! I ordered the Chicken Milanese as my entree. I thought the chicken was a bit dry and super thin, it definitely looked like a large piece of chicken but was very deceiving. I was very excited for dessert because I was told by the lady that everything was homemade. I also work in the restaurant industry; I recognized 3 of the desserts right away being from a restaurant company. She then told me that the Tiramisu was a family recipe of theirs and let me say this, it is a must try for sure. Tiramisu is a favorite of mine and it did not disappoint! The lady also sold me on ordering her cappuccino because she makes them really good; it was good and extra foamy. Overall, it was a nice experience. However, I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon due to the prices. If I knew 3 meatballs were going to be $19 I would have skipped it. Same for some of the other dishes, especially on the specials menu. I get they are going for a more upscale feel but having your waiter and waitress sit a table away from you eating and talking with other workers doesn’t really give off that vibe.“

“They have some good slices, and the staff is wonderful! I'll probably stop here again.But I was here between 8-9pm on a Friday night, and they need to keep those slice pies coming out! In the past 10 minutes I witnessed 6 people want plain slices but they were out, and offering people specialty slices, or to wait for a new pie. Remember, it's always better to have a couple to many plain slices, then potentially turn away business. In my experience at least.But yeah, good food, good people. “Gatwyns II is a very good neighborhood restaurant/ bar. The food (Portuguese Mussels and Pizza) are great but the beer choices are very poor. Lack of attention from the bar tender can be too frequent but the table service is strong. Definitely recommended, some areas could use improvement but generally happy with this place.“

“Every beer I have tried here has been delicious. I have enough confidence in the quality and flavors of the beers to try styles that I otherwise typically do not enjoy. My husband and I have gone to many breweries noth in the area and in other areas and Chilton Mill remains our favorite.“

“First visit to Alice’s. We will return. Fun bar downstairs with outside heated seating looking over the lake. The food was ok. Steak was ordered rare and that came out perfect. The Salmon though was over cooked. Sides were fine though the vegetables were a mix of warm and cold. Service was great. Nice people.“

“The service and food choices are always good, however yesterday the chef (shame on me for not remembering his name) produced the normal exemplary Thai Spring rolls and calamari. So special that they were followed by the best Bendang Lamb I have ever tasted. After eating the beef based curry in Indonsia and around the world, the chef's Malasian influence produced this amazing Bendang Lamb. Now it would seem that I have no choice but to make it my meal of choice on every visit.“

Each time, the food was far above my expectations regarding restaurants in Hunterdon County. You would think from the name of the place that it was simply the standard Italian fare, and you would be mistaken. There are Asian, Mediterranean, and American influences as well, making the selection very well rounded, and everything is prepared and presented with obvious care and attention to detail. “This place is amazing! I don’t think I’ve had better service anywhere else. It took maybe 5-10 minutes for our food to come out and it was beyond delicious! The birria tacos, margaritas, and fresh made guacamole was the best I’ve had. We were beyond pleased with our server who went above and beyond! “I think this is my second or third review of Azzurro. My wife and I live in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania and drive 42 miles to Peapack at least twice a month (although this week we were there twice) to dine at the best Mediterranean/Italian restaurant in N.J. We have several Mediterranean/Italian favorite restaurants in N.J. All run by Albanians. However, Azzurro is just a touch above the others. The quality of food is outstanding (Rigatoni Azzurro and Eggplant Parmigiana are standouts) with all entrees cooked to order (pasta true al'dente). Prices are very reasonable with excellent desserts priced at $7. The servers are total professionals and attentive. The restaurant is roomy, clean and have nice paintings on the wall. And to top it off, it's BYOB. We just love the place. We have not met the owner but have repeatedly pleaded with the servers to tell the owner to open a restaurant in the Lehigh Valley or at least closer to Pennsylvania. Bob and Linda“

“Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. “Wow. The Black River Barn has outdone themselves again. What I remember growing up is an older pub feel with ok food, that has changed. It's now the most reasonably priced, delicious, kid and adult friendly food in a good part of Northern NJ. The atmosphere is palpable and full of life. Everyone loves their service, food, and drinks along with the prices. Can't say enough good about a restaurant I once wrote off as an older crowd. If you haven't visited in a while, give it another chance and they WILL impress you.“

“This little hidden gem was discovered by my FIL while working in the area. We all dined in last night for the first time. Our waitress was full of smiles, attentive and hustling between tables and phone duties. We had 3 of the crab meat stuffed fish filet special which was delicious and came with large sides. We did Buffalo cauliflower bites, calamari, and mussels appetizers which were all great. I had a California cheese steak and cheese fries and was delighted to see multiple layers of cheese and not just across the top. Amongst several other dishes we were all happy and the cannoli ice cream is worth a trip back alone. If you are in the area I'd recommend giving them a shot!!!“

“I used to hate sushi, but my husband had me try it here, and now I love it! The ingredients are fresh and their special sushi rolls are so good...we want to try them all! Angry Dragon and Joker Jason are our favorites so far. The hibachi is very good, the bento boxes are filling, ramen, teriyaki...everything is delicious. The spicy sweet potato soup is one of our favorites, but the sashimi salads are also tasty. The interior is beautifully decorated and welcoming with warm, romantic lighting. Since we have become regulars, the owner's son remembers us and is always very polite. Make reservations on the weekends because it gets packed since this place has the best food in town.“

“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“
