“Luigi’s is great old school pizza. Never a bad slice. We routinely leave our hometown to come here; in a market with lots of great choices for pizza, Luigi’s is our choice. Tonight was a simple pie, a little extra done as we requested. Add a small order of buffalo wings and a salad, we’re set. My wife likes that they have fountain birch beer. Their crust is perfect, never disappoints.It is a hidden gem in a shopping mall, that’s outlived quite a few other restaurants. We’ve met some great people over the years in this hometown gem. The artwork on the walls is fun to explore.“

From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. “Even though Google says they open at 11 am. I called to push my luck and to my surprise they were open and I called them at 10:30 am! The owner of the restaurant Anthony picked up the phone. He is the most sweetest man I have ever spoke with on the phone. This is my first time ordering a huge order for my work place and he helped me plan everything and I was so nervous to because it's my first ordering for my work place and trying out NJ pizza. I only know NYC pizzas lol. I am getting off topic here. I highly recommend this place for anyone. They are so welcoming and you can definitely tell they care about their clients needs. “Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this gem for dinner. We were able to walk in around 8pm and be seated quickly. The restaurant was big with many dining rooms, a bar and w beautiful outdoor area which opens up in the warmer weather. We were greeted by the owner himself, Marco and he sat us fairly quickly. He was so nice, the second he brought us the menu he said, "if there's anything not anything on this menu that you want, just let me know" which was already unique in itself. We were all able to find something for each of us on his pretty extensive menu, he had everything you would find at a typical Italian restaurant. When you sit down, you get a bread basket and a little bowl of bruschetta with balsamic vinegrette which was a great start. The wine selection was nice and the cocktails were great. We ordered with the burrata for our app which was good. For our entrees we got the orchiette, jumbo shrimp pasta and gnocchi with vodka sauce. All of it was so good. The jumbo shrimp sauce with the angel hair made the dish and the vodka sauce for my gnocchi was to die for, in addition to them being pillowy goodness. Our only regret is that we wish we had saved room for dessert. Looking to coming back here for their outdoor patio!“

“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. “The service and food choices are always good, however yesterday the chef (shame on me for not remembering his name) produced the normal exemplary Thai Spring rolls and calamari. So special that they were followed by the best Bendang Lamb I have ever tasted. After eating the beef based curry in Indonsia and around the world, the chef's Malasian influence produced this amazing Bendang Lamb. Now it would seem that I have no choice but to make it my meal of choice on every visit.“

“Absolutely love the food at this restaurant! (I drive an hour from my house to go here for takeout and it’s so worth it) friendly staff as well. The mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! love the cheesecake, carrot cake, fried cauliflower, and the avocado rolls. they also have good vegan chocolate treats at the counter as well which are delicious. it’s an amazing alternative food options for those who are vegan or have a dairy allergy like I do! :)“

“HIDDEN GEM. We were a party of 4 and came from 45 minutes away. The place is a bit smaller, but that didn’t take away from the amazing experience we all had. The waiter, who has worked there for over 17 years, was exceptional. He was friendly and funny and we all had an excellent time with him. The food was perfect. Everything we ordered came out perfect. “March 2024. We've been coming here for years. Really enjoy the authentic tacos. The fixings bar to add sauce, cilantro, onions, cactus, and so much more, allows you to customize the tacos to your taste. Personally I love Al Pastor and Placeros tacos. Service is friendly. They have staff that speak English, which helps us who speak little Spanish. But either way, their menu is written in English and Spanish.Parking is the only hardship. Have to drive around and find a spot.

“Wow. The Black River Barn has outdone themselves again. What I remember growing up is an older pub feel with ok food, that has changed. It's now the most reasonably priced, delicious, kid and adult friendly food in a good part of Northern NJ. The atmosphere is palpable and full of life. “Tuesday is karaoke night. The bar is happening but not busy, the music is on but not unmanageable, and the drinks are good. I really enjoyed my time, and the drinks, and the service. I'll only knock the fact that the menu doesn't display prices and the "not IPA craft selection" is pretty bad. Which I know is a tall ask but for 20+ beers is a little bit disappointing.I would totally go back.“
