“I have been trying to get a table her for awhile- the wait was well worth it! I had low expectations because the food quality at the jersey shore often disappoints. This place was extraordinary. A solid 10. I had the Halubut and my son the burger. When I finished my last bite- I could have cried. We ordered the Arancini balls for first course- we both took a bite and looked at each other, speechless. For dessert, the only choice was a carrot cake- which I normally would not order- but did. Like nothing I have ever had. Finally, our server was great- responsive, fun- nice and made great suggestions. You know it was a good meal when you wake up the next day thinking about it- and trying your figure out when you can get back there. Bravo, Grand Tavern?“

“Looking for some Italian food in the area and saw this had 4.6 stars and wanted to check it out. It doesn’t look like much from the outside so we pulled in and then said, “Nah” and drove off and then I started reading the reviews and they were really good, so we turned around. LOLFood was really decent. Staff was so friendly. Place is cozy. Music was on point per my husband. They served some nice warm bread when we first sat down. My husband had mussels and the sauce was actually killer in a very yummy way. He also had a meatball parm sandwich which he enjoyed. I had spaghetti and shrimp which was tasty and we both shared garlic bread.Definitely do not pass this place up. We will be back. I want to try their Burrata pizza!“

“Classic Irish American no frills Bar. Wait staff insanely responsive and good natured. Loud as hell inside, but great atmosphere and people. You are sure to enjoy yourself. Corned beef sandwiches top notch, just like Mom made. Stick to the sandwiches, appetizers like wings and quesadillas below average.Parking: Parking can be a bit tight on weekend nights, but you should be good.“

“Been going here for years everyone is great. In all the years I've gone there only one time was there an issue and that was when I had it delivered. The pizza was just a mess. Put in 30 years of going there I have no other complaints and even that first time was not so bad.“

“My local go-to spot for pizza. I am always treated nicely in that building. The owner seems to be a respected man who is running a great pizza place over there. Hope they stick around for a long time. The service was great. One time, they delivered part of my order wrong. Mistakes do happen. I don't hold that against them because they owned it. They then fixed it as quickly as possible. The delivery driver was back at my door within 10 to 15 minutes after I notified them. He wouldn't take a tip, nor did they charge any difference between the two items. The one I received was pricier than what I ordered. They charged me for what I ordered, not what I received. They let me keep the extra food, which was still unopened. Solid people working at this business. Outside of the pizza which we know is very good, everything else I've had there never disappoints. I highly recommend the place.“

“I eat at this pizzeria for a slice every once in a while, so I don't really know about the rest of the food. The place is often very packed. I guess it is good. I do love the pizza and the size of the slice. Price recently went up but at least they didn't shrink on the pizza size. I don't like their full size pizzas as much, only the slices.“

“I have ordered from these guys several times using DoorDash and I have never been disappointed! My order is always hot and early. My personal favorite is building my own sandwich with breaded chicken, cheese, lettuce tomato on a roll. Bellissimo!“

“Tried the brisket after some recommendations and it was good. By the time I got home it was cold but that's my fault, not theirs. I'm sure if I ate in it would have been amazing. Next time I'll try the ribs and dine in to eat. Mac and cheese was delicious. Corn bread was sweet and moist.“
