“Born and raised on Vinnies Pizza. I moved to upstate NY 25 years ago but every summer when I bring the wife down to the old neighborhood the first place we stop is Vinnies. It is still just as good as the first time I had it around 30+ years ago.“

“I have had a lot of french toast in my day. In my opinion, none do it better than the Roadside Diner. Fairly priced, large portion, nice thick slices; The ideal plate of french toast. The coffee was nice and dark, so no complaints there. The service has been great every time. The owner really seems to care about the food he puts out as he always makes sure to ask how it is. While the booths may be tight by todays standards, I do not mind as it adds to the vintage charm of the classic rail car. I also appreciate the decor that adorns the walls. I especially appreciate the New Jersey Devils and baseball memorabilia. If you appreciate good food, good atmosphere, good service, and good prices, The Roadside Diner is for you.“

“Never been here before... food was pretty good. Restaurant was clean... we were the only customers. Couldn't happen to notice the tortilla is literally made fresh right in front of you... if you like bubbakoos or surf taco or is worth a try.“

“I have been trying to get a table her for awhile- the wait was well worth it! I had low expectations because the food quality at the jersey shore often disappoints. This place was extraordinary. A solid 10. I had the Halubut and my son the burger. When I finished my last bite- I could have cried. We ordered the Arancini balls for first course- we both took a bite and looked at each other, speechless. For dessert, the only choice was a carrot cake- which I normally would not order- but did. Like nothing I have ever had. Finally, our server was great- responsive, fun- nice and made great suggestions. You know it was a good meal when you wake up the next day thinking about it- and trying your figure out when you can get back there. Bravo, Grand Tavern?“

It was a nice day so they had the garage doors open and seating out back available which made for a perfect environment. “If you’re looking for the world’s best crumb cake, Mueller’s Bakery has it and a lot more! Old school bakery with some of the best tasting pastries you’ll ever have. And if you’re gluten intolerant, well Mueller’s is your gluten-free nirvana. I’ve never seen so many options. Words do not do this place justice—go try it for yourself. Just go early and get a number when you come in because there will be a line, but it is so worth the wait!“

“Wow The best Italian restaurant at the jersey shore if you go Friday or Saturday you better get a reservation I would suggest you get one during the week also to be safe. Byob food and atmosphere are outstanding and the hostess waitresses and owner are so nice they make you feel like you were invited to their home for Sunday dinner with the family.“

“This is now our new favorite restaurant. Fabulous home made pasta. Unbelievable drinks. Great vibe. Love the white tablecloths. The waiter was amazing! We will definitely be back. You would never know from the outside what a great restaurant it is, but never judge a book by its cover, right??? They have been here 20 years and I can't believe I never knew about this great restaurant! After dinner we moved to the bar for after dinner drinks. The bartender was great. Surprisingly we were the only couple in the dining area and 11 other women at the other tables. It got really loud because the floor is tile. When we moved to the bar area it was much quieter and that's where we discovered all the couples quietly eating dinner at the bar. Note to self the dining room can get loud!!! The music is so soothing. What a wonderful restaurant! Did I say that already!!! The center pieces are fig buds. We saw the chef cutting herbs outside before the restaurant opened. How cool is that!!!!“

“I've been living down by the Shore for over a decade and had the best breakfast of my Life here!!! Today I had Dave's Homemade Corned Beef Hash with all the bells and whistles: poached eggs, asparagus, Swiss, hollandaise...Absolutely delicious! Everything my wife and I tried was amazing: the biscuits with cinnamon honey butter, the coffee cake and the pancakes. Highly recommend The Buttered Biscuit. Service was also amazing.“

It doesn’t look like much from the outside so we pulled in and then said, “Nah” and drove off and then I started reading the reviews and they were really good, so we turned around. LOLFood was really decent. Staff was so friendly. Place is cozy. Music was on point per my husband. They served some nice warm bread when we first sat down. My husband had mussels and the sauce was actually killer in a very yummy way. He also had a meatball parm sandwich which he enjoyed.
