“the food is really good...thank you so much for that.unfortunately my order keeps missing garlic bread when i am ordering through uber eats. thats literally my only complaint. hopefully you guys remember this if you see it because im definitely going to be ordering again...im glad i found this place :) ty so much and please dont forget the garlic bread on uber eats orders! it says that they come with garlic bread! :Panyway if anyone else is reading this rest assured you wont be disappointed! this is a really minor complaint i have and otherwise the actual dishes im ordering have been great!!“

“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

“We had our small wedding at Andre's this past weekend, and I am still in awe of how fantastic the event was. Tracey is an all-star. From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. I can't recommend Andre's enough, and we will certainly be returning for a meal!“

“Came here with my family for a goodbye dinner, and I have to say it was quite cozy and cute inside. They are a BYOB restaurant, so we brought our own wine and our waiter opened and poured it for us throughout the visit making sure our glasses were always full. I strongly suggest they type up the specials for people to read and to view prices. The waiter told us the specials from memory; so of course, all three of us had questions to ask and the waiter was getting angry that we couldn’t remember all of what he just said. After we order, we receive these absolutely delicious breadsticks and they were gracious enough to bring out seconds! I ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, I thought they were really tasty and juicy! I ordered the Chicken Milanese as my entree. I thought the chicken was a bit dry and super thin, it definitely looked like a large piece of chicken but was very deceiving. I was very excited for dessert because I was told by the lady that everything was homemade. I also work in the restaurant industry; I recognized 3 of the desserts right away being from a restaurant company. She then told me that the Tiramisu was a family recipe of theirs and let me say this, it is a must try for sure. Tiramisu is a favorite of mine and it did not disappoint! The lady also sold me on ordering her cappuccino because she makes them really good; it was good and extra foamy. Overall, it was a nice experience. However, I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon due to the prices. If I knew 3 meatballs were going to be $19 I would have skipped it. Same for some of the other dishes, especially on the specials menu. I get they are going for a more upscale feel but having your waiter and waitress sit a table away from you eating and talking with other workers doesn’t really give off that vibe.“

“They have some good slices, and the staff is wonderful! I'll probably stop here again.But I was here between 8-9pm on a Friday night, and they need to keep those slice pies coming out! In the past 10 minutes I witnessed 6 people want plain slices but they were out, and offering people specialty slices, or to wait for a new pie. Remember, it's always better to have a couple to many plain slices, then potentially turn away business. In my experience at least.But yeah, good food, good people. I was just passing through, but if I find myself hungry in the area again, I'd definitely stop back.“

“Decent place with a bar and dining area. Authentic Italian food and ambiance. The deep dish pizza was good but our sea food was not fresh. The service was above and beyond. 12" deep dish is enough for 4 people. It is a budget friendly place and plenty of parking available.“

“Gatwyns II is a very good neighborhood restaurant/ bar. The food (Portuguese Mussels and Pizza) are great but the beer choices are very poor. Lack of attention from the bar tender can be too frequent but the table service is strong. Definitely recommended, some areas could use improvement but generally happy with this place.“

“I have been coming to this place now for over three years… Every time I have a guest over I ask them if they want to eat the best burger in town! Especially their signature OMG burger! Oh and their fries are spectacular! Their employees, their service, and everything else about this restaurant is amazing! They also have a delicious signature sauce. The mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! love the cheesecake, carrot cake, fried cauliflower, and the avocado rolls. they also have good vegan chocolate treats at the counter as well which are delicious. it’s an amazing alternative food options for those who are vegan or have a dairy allergy like I do! :)“

“First visit to Alice’s. We will return. Fun bar downstairs with outside heated seating looking over the lake. The food was ok. Steak was ordered rare and that came out perfect. The Salmon though was over cooked. Sides were fine though the vegetables were a mix of warm and cold. Service was great. Nice people.“

So special that they were followed by the best Bendang Lamb I have ever tasted. After eating the beef based curry in Indonsia and around the world, the chef's Malasian influence produced this amazing Bendang Lamb. Now it would seem that I have no choice but to make it my meal of choice on every visit.“

“Great local diner in Lake Hopatcong. Breakfast is typical diner breakfast fair and doesn’t disappoint. We finally made it to their weekly Thursday night dinner menu and weren’t disappointed. “This place is amazing! I don’t think I’ve had better service anywhere else. It took maybe 5-10 minutes for our food to come out and it was beyond delicious! The birria tacos, margaritas, and fresh made guacamole was the best I’ve had. We were beyond pleased with our server who went above and beyond! “Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. “My wife came from out of town to the ledgewood area for an errand. we stopped at this establishment for a bite to eat having a craving for chicken cheese steaks choosing this place over "Charlie's subs". Boy did we make the right choice, my wife and I both agreed that our chicken cheese steaks were some of the best chicken cheese steaks we've ever had. I got the Teriyaki and she got the Philly style we got cheese fries as well, also delicious. The teriyaki sauce was not too sweet ,in my opinion, for those wondering. We will definitely stop by again if we happen upon the area in the future.“

“Wow. The Black River Barn has outdone themselves again. What I remember growing up is an older pub feel with ok food, that has changed. It's now the most reasonably priced, delicious, kid and adult friendly food in a good part of Northern NJ. The atmosphere is palpable and full of life. The chicken was moist and very flavorful. They use broccolini which is a nice twist.I shared the house salad with my dad. The dressings were divine and there is a variety of fresh veggies in it.
