My boyfriend was craving a hot pastrami sandwich for lunch and looked all over Newark’s downtown area for a good place. Boy oh boy were we lucky to find this cute deli hidden between shops in the middle of Commerce Street! The sandwiches we ordered were tasty, grand in size and appropriately priced! This will definitely be our go-to shop for sandwiches from now on!! The cooks and staff were beyond friendly as well as professional. We absolutely recommend Cafe Airlie!!!!
This place is amazing-the food was good and the prices were affordable! It is so rare to find a place that is able to do both these days. Highly recommend! Let’s keep these kinds of places in business! I am tired of paying $6 for a cup of coffee!! They were also friendly and the place was clean and nicely painted.

This sun-shined Street, is seconds off of Broad street Newark. Cafe Airlie is like walking into Cheers (The 80’s TV show where everyone knows your name). The owner/ manager is the friendliest person.
