“We went in June and were very disappointed, I reached out to the owner to let them know my complaints. They asked us to try them again. Last week we went back and I’m happy to say I had such a great time & meal! The owner revamped everything and it shows! We look forward to going back. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and 2 different burgers. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the mozz sticks were so good!“
“Boomers is a very small, intimate bar where everyone knows everyone. Mostly Blue collar crowd throwing back after a hard day. Surprisingly level and well kept 6' pool table, although there is a short 3' stick required for some close walls and people) and competitive players.Reasonably priced beer and shot joint, they have bar food also. I'd give it 5 stars for a dirty old biker like me, but it's usually a crowd of older guys during the day getting buzzed and shooting the breeze. Very nice lady behind the bar. Occasionally packed with a broad variety of ages and gender.They even have a good sized smokers deck on the back, and ample parking. Good stop for bikers swinging through (but it's Stillwater and the local police are vigilant ball busters about the 25mph speed limit through town especially if you have loud pipes)PS:. They have take out package goods as well (beer anyway, maybe more)All in all..a great old dive ?“
“One of the best in NJ, I don't live in state anymore but when I did my family would always get take out here and it's always been consistently good over the years. Stopped in again for the first time in a couple years, don't take NJ and NY pizza for granted (PA pizza sucks genuinely)“

“Moved to Lake Hopatcong less than a year ago and still exploring the area. Went to McKenna's for the first time. What a welcoming atmosphere. Food was good, people were very friendly. Bob, the owner, bought a round of drinks and Kim, the bartender, was attentive and personable. 5 stars all around! Will definitely go back.“

Karissa worked tirelessly with me to ensure that the entire planning process was seamless and that our event would be perfect! Perfect is an understatement!!! “This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“
