“We went in June and were very disappointed, I reached out to the owner to let them know my complaints. They asked us to try them again. Last week we went back and I’m happy to say I had such a great time & meal! The owner revamped everything and it shows! We look forward to going back. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and 2 different burgers. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the mozz sticks were so good!“

“Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. “Moved to Lake Hopatcong less than a year ago and still exploring the area. Went to McKenna's for the first time. What a welcoming atmosphere. Food was good, people were very friendly. Bob, the owner, bought a round of drinks and Kim, the bartender, was attentive and personable. 5 stars all around! Will definitely go back.“
“Cozy bar with reasonable prices! We stayed in a newly opened Cobmin Ridge Motel. The best motel rooms I have ever seen and I travel a lot! Very modern. I wish the bar from inside and out is more updated. Its a great busy road and this business can make so much more money with some simple updates.“

“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“
