“Little gem that you'd easily walk by thinking it's nothing special. Its special. The food is nothing short of authentic family style and the forward flavors aren't your Americanized mexican food. If like food from Mexico you need to try this place, if you like texmex or Americanized come here knowing it'll be a different experience.“
“In our area, the major grocery stores have no selection of chili’s or other important ingredients needed to make authentic Mexican, and Latino food from home. I love this store! Every time I need an ingredient I can’t find at ShopRite, it’s always here! Including Tajin! They also make great food and cheeses for takeout.“
“I was very impressed with their food quality the flavor was amazing the meat was tender everything was fresh The wait staff was very attentive. I have ordered several times online food is always ready . The are really nice are great everyone in my family loves thier food . Also super clean I am a clean freak ..“
“My go to restaurant when seeing a show at the Newton Theater. Great selection of popular Mexican dishes. Friendly staff and clean bright dining area. Had the birria taco special and was thinking these were small but damn...very filling and tasty. That sauce was...mmm! I rarely ask for changes to dishes but added cotija cheese on the side which got a look but wanted a little saltiness too. It's BYOB too so don't forget your favorite beverages.“
“For my first time here, it was delicious. I got a burrito bowl with steak and chicken, beans, brown rice, cheese, tomato salsa and the roasted corn. It seems like a more healthier fast food joint. They give you a nutrition calculator on the website to see how many calories your bowl or meal will come out to. Overall, great spot for healthier fast food.“
“Sweet place for authentic Mexican right in the neighborhood!Great service, ice cold draft or bottled beer, excellent margaritas and all our favorite abd fabulous Mexican food faves! We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options!“
“This place has charm and the very welcoming lady and gentleman that might be the owners made it even better. The food was tasty and the prices were fair for the amount of food you get. Would totally come back. And their ají de árbol is delicious. Always a joy to try and support the local restaurants. Totally recommend.“
“First off, my wife and I both love Mexican food. Enchiladas were very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Somebody spent a lot of time on the murals and decorations. Only drawback is that they don't have a liquor license.“
“It's always fresh great food however the last few time I have been there the steak is super salty. To the point I feel swollen after I eat it. Please change it back to the way it was, or marinate it with less salt. People should add their own “
“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“
