“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. Their prices and portions are above average compared to similar businesses. Definitely recommend. I wish they had longer hours!!!“

“Straight up the juiciest, most tender chicken I've had in my life. I've never seen chicken so tender that it just falls off the bone like this one did.I got the Dark Meat combo with scallion pancake as my included side and the portion was decent and reasonably priced. This was way beyond my expectations and I'll definitely be back!“

“One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“

“Order on the kiosk. Wait for your number to be called. Chicken cooked nicely. Ginger rice is ok. The soup on the side is a win win. Most side soups are boring. This soup taste fresh and nicely seasoned. The side spicy tamarind sauce for me is the best part!! Been here a few times. Mix chicken rice for $10.“

“My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“My sister and her boyfriend introduce me to this fast food restaurant and I have to say I love it ! Though they don’t have many options other than burgers or tenders I think you get what the name of the restaurant provides lol. They do have some sides such as Mac and cheese, coleslaw, seasoned fries/cheese fries, pickles and milkshakes. I tried the Mac and cheese and honestly it lacked that cheesiness you look forward to when eating mac & cheese but aside from that the food is delicious. I usually get the medium level of spice and the one slider (comes with pickles, coleslaw, and signature sauce however you can ask to subtract or put things on the side) seasoned fries and drink meal which is always perfect as the chicken is pretty big. In my opinion medium it’s not very hot so if you have a good tolerance to spicy food I would try maybe a level above that which is “hot”. I’m super excited that they are opening one in my town because I will definitely be coming back ! Definitely recommend.“

“I had the pleasure of stopping in here yesterday for lunch. I have to say it was a good choice to go check out. The chicken was crispy and super flavorful. I got the sweet chili chick'n pop combo. “The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. With so many great take out places around, this one is unfortunately an easy pass for now on.*** UPDATE *** Excellent management. Clearly strives to fix flaws and makes things right. “We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. It came with a large serving of Coleslaw for my 20 pcs wing order. Crispy and saucy but doesn’t feel greasy. We will definitely be coming back whenever we want KFC!“

“Heard so much about Rowdy Rooster and finally made it here. We came on a weekday for dinner and it wasn't too crowded, we were able to grab a seat. There are also standing room for a quick bite as well. The place was so adorable! Everything was so colorful and the walls and even the ceiling was decorated with colorful roosters. Our cashier was really helpful in helping us decide what to get bc it's our first time here. She said the thigh meat was better in the sandwich and indeed it was one of the best chickens I have ever had. It was so crispy but so tender on the inside. Loved the sandwiches so much bc it was full of Indian spices too! The mango lassi was amazing, definitely comparable to any sit-down Indian restaurant. We also had a hard time deciding what sauce to get and she gave us a complimentary sauce in addition to the one we bought, so we got to try both sesame yogurt and mint chutney, which were both delicious! Food is delicious, we always get the Onion Chicken, which is perfect to share with 2-3 people and supplement with something else like bu dae jigae. We went with a group of 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes around 6:30pm to get a table, but it went by quick. Staff was friendly and place is clean and fun decor. Like everywhere in Palisades park, street paid parking is limited but there is free parking in the neighborhood streets if you want to walk further. One of my favorite places to eat at in Palisades Park, can't wait to come back!“

“Great pick up quick service place. Food was hot and fresh. The bacon cheese fries with jalapeno cheese sauce were to die for. Not too spicy but just right and a ton of large bacon bits. Chicken was hot and perfect. Not over breaded and each piece was thick white breast meat. Worth the price.fries were thick and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon chicken ranch wrap was delicious. Again the chicken was generouly portioned, lots of slaw, ranch and bacon. Yum.my kids loved it.“

“The closest thing to Nashville Hot Chicken that I’ve had outside of Nashville. I ordered 3 “hot” tenders and mac & cheese. I could only finish 2 tenders — they’re huge! I was pleasantly surprised with the mac & cheese as a lot of places make it pretty bland, but this one was decent. For me, the “hot” was pretty spicy and any spicier would be too much for me. I will say that the breading on the tenders is a *tad* thick. I think if they coat the chicken a bit thinner, it would be better. Still enjoyed it though and will be back for sure.“

“Been on a chicken sandwich tour and I really enjoyed mine here. The fries were some really crispy shoestring fries and they tasted great, but they do veer on the more oily side as far as taste goes. The portions for the fries are solid, a small was enough that you could comfortably split it with a friend. The place itself was really neat and had plenty of seating. Self checkout kiosks are available and the wait time for the food was pretty standard. Would recommend, enjoyed the spot a lot“

“Pelicana has good Korean bar food at a great price! Their fried chicken was phenomenal -- perfectly crispy on the outside, with hot and juicy meat waiting under the skin. I feel creepy writing that sentence, but it's 100% the truth. The Tteokbokki was also amazing, so much flavor without drowning in sauce. The rice cakes were so chewy! The kimchi cheese fries were fine. The fries themselves were cooked really well, but the cheese, kimchi, and sauce led to a dish that was a bit chaotic in terms of taste.
