Our waiters Elani and Dioni were super attentive, they came over to our table many times to ensure that we were okay. “i have family who are seniors that live nearby, i go and visit them at least twice a year and thios is where we go every single time....driving by plenty of other spots on the way. Its basically bar food but the best that bar food gets, the service is friendy and accommodating. on weekends i think we were even turned away without a reservation once, so check to be sure.“

“Great little pub with an old school local vibe. Burgers and wings are very good. The wings are on the larger side so if you're more into the smaller wings with less meat on the bone you may not love them.My kids love the pizza. I'm a little more neutral on it due to the crust leaning a little towards a "store bought" type. But the sauce and toppings are spot on.The employees are great across the board. They all seem to enjoy working there vs just "having a job". Good place to hang with some friends or eat with the family.Parking: Depending on the time of day can be a little challenging.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in the dining room for sure. The bar area has high tops but I wouldn't say that space is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not the easiest to access for people with disabilities.“

“Wasn’t sure what to expect when I stopped here for a quick dinner. Is it a sports bar? Is it a bistro tavern? It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I might stop by again if I’m in the area.“

“We stopped in to grab a late night bite after visiting the Paramus Veterans Home. It was appx 930 pm on a Wednesday and the place was packed. Luckily we were able to grab a table. A Grateful Dead tribute band was playing and the bar, tables and dance floor was filled with dead heads singing, dancing and enjoying the music. It was awesome to see a place do business on a weeknight.We went to the bar for our first drink. It was quick, bartender was friendly.However, back at the table, It took about 20 minutes of trying to get the attention of the server. When she finally came over she was not friendly, did not smile and was not at all engaging. She put the menus on the table and walked away. About 15 minutes passed before she came back (good thing we got our own drinks at the bar)She efficiently took the order, still no smile and tbh, a bit of an attitude,We asked for another drink and she said, since you ordered your drinks from the bar that's where your check isthen walked away. 20 minutes pass and a young man brought our food. The food was ok. All 3 of us got wings.Both servers avoided our table after that. I had to go to the bar to ask for to-go containersI understand (as a former server) if the tab is started in one spot, how you would think we wouldn't tip BOTH bar and floor, but you NEVER KNOW who you're servingAll 3 in our party are former food service industryWe planned on tipping the floor and bar...WELL.The attitude of the young lady was unnecessary and unwarranted.We probably wouldn't go back because of it.“

“Made a reservation, and first impressions were good. the first seating they placed us had a broken table so they moved us which was nice they let us pick any spot. the place had Good ambiance with good music that set a good vibe and plenty of tvs to watch sports game. The service was good too our waiter always stopped by to check on us if we need anything. they also gave good recommendations on the menu. the beverages like the mule were good and the food was okay, albeit a bit overpriced for the area. we got quesadillas, wings, sliders, and 2 basket of fries with plenty of drinks. they also tacked on a mandatory 20% gratuity for a party of 3. the beverages were pretty good i enjoyed it. i'll definitely come back !“

“Fantastic space with a lively, upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Welcoming, energetic vibe on a Saturday night. We've been there twice with a party of 6, and the food has been excellent both times. The veal chop... to die for! Wonderful service the 1st time. Everything was perfect. It was just ok last week, at best. But they were super busy and perhaps short-handed. In any event, there was an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill, so perhaps the server didn't care to give it her personal best. Still, we'll definitely return and recommend Roost.“

“I came to visit the club scene with a few lady friends.. the atmosphere was giving ole skool grown..after a while of course the vibes picked up..the only negative was the mixologist didn't know what a Blue motorcycle was which is a no no when it's the easiest and common drink to make. “Biggest sleeper kitchen in town. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Formerly known as multiple dive bars different owners over many years. You now get homemade gourmet food from a Pugliese chef. Rice balls, pasta dishes, ribs, food all around. Good to get a drink and sandwich with fries. Go bananas with the steak for two. Just go.“

“Went back to Doghouse after a long hiatus and was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed except the live Jazz music on Thursday nights! Very cool! Food was the usual good greasy type except HUGE portions! My cheesesteak was large and tasty as well as my girl's grilled chicken sandwich... def get your moneys worth! Service was spotty but acceptable but then again it's a hometown pub, what do you expect? Stop in on Thursday nights for the live Jazz, saves a trip into the city!!“

The kitchen was open late and I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and let me tell you they were absolutely scrumptious!The beer on tap was also top notch and the calm ambience was just what I needed after a long day.Highly recommend you stop by and say hi!“
