Not only was I surprised but more than a little impressed. So, if your goal is to procure a Eucharist wafer slathered in pizza chain indifference there's always Dominos. However, if you want a real pizza and the Giuseppe Brothers aren't available you could do far worse than Marco's. A surprising four stars in Jersey. Five stars in Iowa.“

“I've been going to this restaurant for over 5 or 6 years. The atmosphere has definitely gotten better, but thier service in the restaurant isn't great. I visited last week 1/29/24. There were four of us with no one but another couple in the restaurant. We saw the waitress 2 times. Too busy talking and hanging with management . She looked like his daughter and she was not minding the table. Bar service is nuch better with John.“

“The service was great and the place was clean. I ordered a mixed platter (chicken and lamb). The chicken was good. The lamb could've been more tender and the pita bread a little softer. Rice could use a little bit more seasoning. The white sauce was savory (ask for it).If you work at the place, here are some suggestions:1. Be generous with white sauce in the platter since it's a little dry . It could've been just me because I ordered extra meat.2. “I promised my Dad that Marsilio's would have the best veal parm and he said it was the best ever! He's 89 so that's quite a compliment. When I asked if he wanted to share a dessert he said no, he was NOT sharing his crème brûlée. He ate the whole thing! I am longtime Marsilio's fan—a “pitcher holder” from the Trenton days—and the food and service are as great as ever. “We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

“The wine is exquisite . Absolutely one of my favorite wineries. I don't typically like Chardonnay but theirs is delicious and not oaky. The flight and tasting options are perfect to try a bunch of different wines. They are very high quality , mostly dry wines , priced reasonably . There is something for everyone . I have only ever sat indoors at the bar to do tastings and drink a bottle but There is an outdoor seating area with picnic tables. The staff is knowledgeable and is typically able to tell you all about whatever wine it is that you're drinking.“

“We just had an amazing dinner!!! We started out with an amuse-bouche of Scallops that were out of this world. Then we had Octopus and it was so incredibly tender. For dinner we had the Red Snapper and it was cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with dessert and coffee. Well worth the hour drive in each direction. Can't wait to come back.“

Wonderful conversation with other patrons, and with bar tender/server, Joe, and manager Krista. I have known them for a few years. They are constantly busy, but always make me feel comfortable whenever I come to this restaurant. Although some staff have moved on for various career choices, I am kept abreast of how they are doing. Such a wonderful connection!The food and beverages are quite good, and they never disappoint. “This was our first time having lunch at Blooming Grove, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the extent of the menu options. There was so much to choose from that it made our decisions more difficult. Our server, Allison, was delightful and very efficient. We enjoyed our delicious roast pork with provolone and broccoli rabe sandwiches, and the French fries were exceptionally good, too. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy.
