“These donuts are fantastic! The flavors are fun and it’s hard to choose just one. The woman running the counter was so accommodating and made sure that I got my tea exactly how I wanted it, which I’ve really never been asked before. There’s a spacious seating area inside too, which we took advantage of! This is definitely my new go-to donut spot.“
“My son and I were in the mood for good burgers. Google suggested this location, so we gave it a go. You walk into the bar area and are greeted with a smile and told to sit wherever you like. The menu was not large, but it was still pretty difficult to pick from the interesting, creative, and deliciously described burgers. My son and I decided to split our top 2 picks. The buns were light, and the burgers were surprisingly easy to go down. We were both astonished how quickly we took down the breakfast and classic burgers. The fries were well-seasoned and cooked well, and the shoestring onion rings were a nice treat. We ended the meal with some fried oreos that came with an amazing dip.We are planning to return to take on some of the other burgers on the menu!“
“Their house baked everthing rolls are very good, but in my opinion should be a little bigger to handle the large amount of shaved brisket they use on their cheesesteaks! Or just give you a fork, or alot of napkins. Either way, it's a great cheesesteak!“
“We stopped by for the donuts and Korean corn dogs and the food was amazing!! The donuts are so good we finished them and we might get more before we leave. Super soft and fresh! The place was really cute and very clean, they also had samples of a donut to try while we were deciding.“
“Mouth watering corn dogs that wont make you want one of those sad county fair corn dogs. The variety and texure and cheese and the batter!....ugh its all like food crack and dont expect to do much if you eat kore than one cuz you will need a nap. The egg toast is unique as well and the flavors marry so well in your mouth. I recommend the ramen dog with mozzarella, and the original k dog along with the bacon egg toast and the ham and cheese egg toast.....I CANNOT LEAVE OUT THAT LEMONADE SLUSHIE! IT WAS DELICIOUS!“
“The food here is incredible - always fresh, delicious and well made. The staff couldn’t be nicer, more attentive, or putting out great orders each time. My son favorite meal in all of the Reading Terminal is Fox & Son’s fresh lemonade, a crispy and hot classic corn dog, and a side of their perfectly done cheese curds…it’s a family favorite and we look forward to it every time we go to the RTM! They are also gluten free and it’s always amazing to have such a delicious option for my friends and family who come in to Philly to visit and are gluten intolerant.“
“Love this place....always have. been going there over 30 yrs since Johnny's dad first ran it....God rest his soul.....ND now johnny doing an even better job with it....I have about 4 generations going there...the food is always hot, fresh ND always on POINT...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK....HIGHLY RECOMMEND..Parking: Plenty“
“I've been meaning to try this place for a while. I'm mad I waited so long, but happy I finally did! First things first...the customer service was top notch. Second, I had the BEST veggie hot dog I've ever had (and yes they have regular hot dogs too). I mean freaking delicious. Let me also add, I'm not a relish fan. Well this place made me change my mind. The relish was nice & tangy. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to visit again!“
“The cooks were very nice, helped out with recommendations and were accommodating with our preferences for our food. As someone who doesn't often go to places like this, I highly recommend it and will be going again before I'm gone!Parking: It's by the front of a Home Depot, so unless it's a particularly busy day for them, you'll find parking easy.“
“The food is good, most of the time. My experience would be overall better if the workers here did a better job at following basic directions when customers ask for specific menu items and if the inner atmosphere of the business were cleaner (specifically where the customers wait in line and prep mustard for their food on the counter). Considering that this place is known for selling mostly pretzels, you'd imagine it'd be easier to prepare the simple worded orders from the customers but this definitely isn't always the case in this place.“
“I was happy to see a Shake Shack at the ball club and this ended up being the second food stop while we were there for a game. The burgers were on point and they get extra credit for having a dine-in area that was cool and a good respite from the heat.“
“This is my actually my first time stopping by this location ever since I moved to the area for more than 5yrs. There are no seatings inside nor outside when I was there. Although I do remember during the summer time, I believe the do have 2 small tables outside. Not sure if they still has that set up now.Shop was very clean. The staffs were very nice! I went in to see if I can grab a kids size Mini Melt for my 5yo before we head to the kid’s indoor playground that’s two shops down. This might be one of my other quick snack stop with my kids now.“
“I got lost on a flavor cruise eating these pretzels. You see, I used to subscribe to nihilism - there's no meaning in life other than suffering. But then I came here and picked up some pretzels and cheese and well, now I'm an absurdist. There's still no meaning in life, but you know what? I'm going to make my own. Maybe the meaning of life is to eat pretzels prepared by some foul mouthed young men who talked a lot of s*** to each other (I found it pretty funny, myself). Staff was...having fun, and gave me what I ordered promptly. Pretzels were as expected from a PPF location.“
“Accidentally ordered for the wrong day. The staff quickly jumped into action and saved the day. Could have easily told me to kick rocks or issue a refund but instead put together the tray in under 20 minutes. Complete lifesavers!!! Thanks again.“
“I went to Five Guys for the first time today, service was quick and workers were friendly. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger but they put down a "little bacon cheeseburger". The patty was under seasoned and dry. They give plenty of fries so a size "little" was just fine for me. Also ordered an Oreo milkshake, child it was very thick and sweet 8/10. They also give out free peanuts for you to munch on while you wait and tons of napkins! (always a bonus)“
“I like to give five star onlyn for the girls they're very nice and friendly I got the hot dog in a pretzel full of cheese but I noticed the hot dog was kind little spoil did not taste good at all I it's been my first time being in his pretzel factory I never been a pretzel factory maybe I'll try the one in New Jersey but Philadelphia I didn't like it they don't taste very good sorry that's the way I feel I love bread so I usually buy pretzels from Subway it's a little expensive but it tastes wonderful and fresh“
“Excellent food, Excellent service, and a great friendly atmosphere, so why only four stars? The tables are so close together that you will inevitably bump someone, bump their table, or they bump you. If you can handle that, the pickle bar alone is worth the trip.“
“I always love going to the NE Philly Pretzel Factory on Frankford Avenue. I went in and orders some pretzels, pretzel dogs and a couple drinks. You can purchase Philadelphia Water Ice in the store as well. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Pretzels are always fresh and delicious.“
“This 5 Guys in particular is fantastic, I have been going to it for quite some time and it has always been delicious. They give you plenty of fries when you order a large, your drink is refillable, (never had the milkshakes or hotdogs, but I'm sure they follow suit)The customer service is fantastic, they speak loud enough to hear them over most of the noise, and they know to speak up if you ask to repeat themselves. They are expensive, but the burgers are so good, and you can get almost anything you could think of on a burger here.Fried mushrooms, onions, fried onions, lettuce, tomato. You name it! It's fantastic. The little tables are nice (a little stiff on the buns, but I don't mind)You can choose to dine in, order online, or take out yourself. The burgers are amazing, the fries are top tier alongside the burgers, and they have rewards posted on the walls if you don't want to take my word for it.Overall this establishment is amazing in all aspects, love buying from here, and will keep going as long as it remains this good.On top of everything else, the place is located in a little shopping center on Nixon Dr, it's tucked back a little, but I don't mind. It has plenty of parking and is accessible to my understanding for wheelchairs or crutches or canes or walkers. Really great overall.Parking: The parking stretches back a ways, it's essentially a shopping center/mall parking lot for the couple of ships that line this building. It's great. You never struggle to get a spot, though sometimes it's a bit farther away.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there to be a lowered slant curb right in front of each of the shops. Though I'm not certain. I know there are at least 2, 1 on either side for the crosswalks. So you can get in for sure.“
“I've come to Bubby's for many years for breakfast and lunch until my job moved to another section of the City. Now I so miss everything Bubby. I happened to be in the area for a meeting and said I just had to stop and get one of my favorites from Bubby's - the chicken cutlet hoagie. You watch the plentiful cutlets being breaded on the spot before being fried and placed in the hoagie roll with any trimmings and cheese you may want. They also do awesome Philly cheesesteaks, hot sausages, hot dogs, and you name the breakfast sandwich and he can probably make it. They also have the sides like fries or onion rings. Or maybe oatmeal or grits. The homemade lemonade is the bomb. Bubby's is so much better than any Wawa. The place is super small and there's no tables...just enough room for about six to wait standing inside the sliding glass door if it's cold and windy or rainy. You have to be patient as lines sometimes get long, but moves quickly. Prices are very reasonable. CASH ONLY! Boy, do I miss Bubby's. I wish he opened up near me! That homemade chicken cutlet hoagie was superb. Yum!“
“As a fast food enthusiast, I can’t help but rave about Shake Shack Center City - Rittenhouse. It’s a haven for burger aficionados, where the Angus beef burgers are a juicy delight, and the crispy chicken is nothing short of perfection. The hand-spun milkshakes are a creamy dream, and the house-made lemonades offer a refreshing zing. It’s not just the food that makes Shake Shack stand out; it’s the warm hospitality and the brand’s commitment to Stand for Something Good® that truly resonates with me. Whether it’s their premium ingredients, employee development, or community investment, Shake Shack delivers an uplifting experience that goes beyond the palate. It’s no wonder this place has garnered a cult following and expanded globally.“
“First time here. Fun Drive-in feel with super friendly service. The only thing missing was roller skates worn by the wait staff. ? Food was good but not spectacular, Got the chili cheese dog, cheese fries and Root Beer. I didn't think there was enough chili on the dog. Usually I'm struggling not to spill it all over my lap but that was not the case here.“
