“Not to be missed for those who like Vietnamese bread and coffee. Order the special croissant and salted coffee. A perfect combination. Moreover, with the variety of drinks (slush, fruits tea, milk tea) my daughter fall in love with their peach tea and lychee tea. Mild sweet & topped with fruits.“
“Chicken pad thai was amazing! Not too spicy, the flavor brought me back to Thailand! But the thai tea boba had overcooked tapioca pearls that weren't to my liking. But the staff was extremely friendly and wasn't mad after my daughter threw a bowl on the ground and smashed it.“
“The best Pho I’ve had in the city. It’s cash only but they have an ATM there. One of the biggest appeals for me other than the food is that they always seat you immediately and bring out your food practically as fast as you order it. It’s also at a good price point. Depending on when you go parking is usually hard to find so you’re probably better off parking on the street nearby.Parking: Depending on when you go parking can be hard to find. I would suggest looking for street parking as you get close.“
“We had a delicious and super fun dinner at Corey’s! The menu is extensive and they are happy to accommodate any dietary restriction or concern. Flavors were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the chicken curry dumplings and the shrimp vermicelli.Corey was just fantastic. We enjoyed getting to know him and his culinary background. He made us feel so much at home!We did sing some karaoke after our meal lol. We were closing down the shop and honestly it was a blast. I cannot recommend this place enough! For delicious and flavorful take out, call directly. Or come in person for a fun time. You won’t regret it!“
“Went here for birthday supper with my love and u must say it was fabulous. We ordered all vegetarian food because I partake nor of fish nor flesh nor fowl and I was amazed by the rich and succulent flavours for such reasonable prices: it’s a steal. Gentleman running the establishment seemed like a very nice fellow and we WILL be going back. Cheers“
“My family and I like this place. They have some serving issues that are minor, i.e., you may want to check your takeout bag before you leave the store. And, the contents of the PHO aren't always the same. Nonetheless, I will continue to support this business.“
“Such a cute little place!! Got the salt & pepper shrimp w/ rice, shrimp & pork dumplings, and lobster summer rolls. The cashier was soooo sweet and brought our food out to us. It was delicious. HAD to get more dumplings to go!! These pics don't do any justice“
“vegan banh mi with braised jackfruit & kimchi was chef’s kiss! my mouth was watering from the aromatics as I waited for my order. really delicious take on traditional vietnamese yet still brought me back to my momma’s kitchen. cafe space was eclectic and very much what I expect from a coffee shop in old city with its cool art & decor. a must stop if your in the area!“
“Amazing!!!!! The pho and ramen were perfect, this is my favorite spot in philly for a noodle soup. The owner was so sweet too and she gave us excellent service. The place is very small and cozy but so cute! Highly recommend, a hidden gem! They also deliver on all the big food delivery service apps and it's always fresh and delicious!“
“really enjoyed our dinner. nice relaxing atmosphere. great cocktails....esp their spin on mojito and old fashioned. spring rolls very good. oyster dish outstanding as is Obama bowl, least favorite was shrimp dish with mussels...,dark sauce... very good not great.“
“This small family pho spot is one of the best experiences we've had. They offer vegan and veggie versions of 2 of their soups and their summer rolls. We tried all 3 things and they are wonderful. I'm not vegan but my partner is and this pho could go toe to toe with any non vegan I've had so far. (I prefer the spicy version though)Vegetarian options: You have to ask (they told me they are working on printing new menus)Dietary restrictions: They are very attentive and while there was a slight language barrier they were patient and helpful in every way.Parking: South Philly so parking is not amazing.“
“Good pho, with a very friendly and personable owner. We have eaten here twice; once as takeout, which I don't recommend as much, if you are getting pho, and the other dine in, which was a much better experience. (Not that the take out was bad, but pho is a dish that kinda doesn't do well with time. Also, it requires a lot of space as well, so if you don't have the dishes for it, it gets unwieldly.) They accommodated my request for substitutions, and the owner talked with us after dinner for a while. They are very no frills here. It's almost rustic. I asked for hot tea, and it came with no sugar. I look and see there are no sugar packets, so I asked for some sugar, and she brought me out a tea plate with sugar dumped on it. It wasn't enough, but I felt bad enough that I didn't ask for more....things like that. I know they DO take card, but prefer that you use cash, and the owner is still getting her English down, although she has gotten a lot better between first experience and most recent. They are a small store, with maybe 6-7 small tables, but I've never seen them packed. Also, I've only ever gotten pho and spring rolls, but they were both delicious, so I imagine everything here would be good.“
“It took me too long to get here, but I’ll be back very soon! An order of super flavorful shaking beef vermicelli contained a generous portion of tender meat (as well as noods and toppings). The crispy spring rolls were light and flaky, and the wings were killer — meaty, crispy, and delicious. The fish sauce bangs and I could drink it. They do not play games at this gem! There is a lot of love put into the food, and the people are so kind-hearted.“
“forget the ambience; it's sketchy in the best way... we've ordered bahn mi twice now and they were consistent, fairly priced, and delicious... tonight we got pho for take-out and it was fantastic... the scalding hot broth comes separate from the noodles and any proteins to be poured over top once you're ready. the hot sauce is hot and the jalapeños are not your baby-stuff-for-babies. these folk will stay on our list.“
“Hands down the best Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) in town!! The broth is so flavorful and delicious. Their banh cuon cha lua is also good. Portions are big with a reasonable price. The ladies in there are very friendly and food comes out really quick. I highly recommend to try their Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is so good. Even though this place is small, but cozy with a lot of different Vietnamese food options.“
“We stopped in on a whim for a late lunch and the only thing I regret is not ordering extra to bring home. Everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. We each ordered pho and fed our eyes with a grilled pork banh mi hoagie to share. Unbelievable! I topped it off with a vietnamese iced coffee which came in a to go cup (much appreciated!) and it was strong and delicious. I'd be tempted to drive the 50 minutes from home to Philadelphia Mills just for Pho Nam Giang... it was that good.“
“Always love the banh mi here. I work close by so i stop by for lunch frequently. All of the people that work there are very friendly as well :) its a small area so indoor eating can be hard but there is a table available inside if you need to sit down and eat real quick before returning to what you have to do. 10/10!“
“Super friendly and helpful staff, very eager to help you understand the menu and choose things to try!Delicious meal, Pho was delicious with rich broth. The Shanghai noodles were fresh and full of tasty ingredients, lastly, delicious spring rolls and milk tea!!Nice environment, small and cozy and BYOB, super easy to spend till closing here. Would totally come back!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable options for soups and stir fry’s, tofu options and more“
“Small, cozy Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the pork chop rice special. It was great. There was also a duck noodle soup that looked and smelled so good but couldn't get to it. Service was great. They put tables together to accommodate our party or 6. Plenty of street parking outside on a Sunday.“
“They are a take out spot with a few tables for a group of 3 or smallerQuality and variety of food is incredible and authentic! Will come back to try their soups, I only got banh mi this time around and they were so fresh and savory. Was so good I almost forgot to take a photo hahaTheir fruit smoothies taste like they put ice cream in there which makes them really sweet, a plus for some. It was tasty but bit sweet for me, next time I'll try the durian ?“
“This is the 5th Vietnamese Pho restaurant we've tried in this area. Every single restaurant claims to be "authentic", Pho Eden is the only Pho I consider authentic that stays true without cutting corners on the broth and brisket. We will definitely be coming here for our pho cravings.“
“Exciting times with friends. Had the opportunity to meet Cindy, the owner. That's always a plus when you're blessed with the presence of the owner. The first dish was the fried shrimp. A crispy taste of heaven. When you can actually taste the shrimp, you know it's great. Then, a circle of joy steamed clams on a plate of greens. Ok, we are greedy. You know I can't go to Vietnamese without the inspirational fried chicken drums. Perfect chicken drums served hot. We preshowed the top off with the beef Pho deluxe. Ohhh, it's BYOB, too, so a great red wine makes it a perfect evening with friends. Cindy slid some tasty fries, but of course, they would go great with short rib. Wait, wait, we needed the bike choy because we were on our carnivore and needed that veggie. To finish it off, we indulge into the salmon. Which was total FIYAHH. you all know how I love my Vietnamese food. And how picky I am. Don't mess around and not find out how great Hên Vietnamese really is. Get over there and tell Cindy Chef Jules sent you. I highly recommend the Salmon.“
“Simple, but the food is just good. The menu is very streamlined but each item is excellent. They pay a lot of attention to details, and the effort add up. The end products are true from of enjoyment.Though it is mostly a take out spot, if you want to sit, it has a long table and some chairsPeople here are very chill and helpful. If you have questions, just ask!“
“This Vietnamese restaurant is a culinary gem, offering an exquisite journey through the diverse and flavorful landscape of Vietnamese cuisine. From the fragrant pho, where the broth is a symphony of spices, to the fresh and vibrant spring rolls, each dish is a celebration of authenticity and quality. The balance of sweet, savory, and aromatic elements showcases the mastery of Vietnamese flavors. The use of fresh herbs and crisp vegetables adds a delightful texture to every bite. Whether you're indulging in banh mi or exploring regional specialties, this establishment's commitment to genuine ingredients and traditional techniques ensures an unforgettable dining experience. A must-visit for those seeking a true taste of Vietnam's culinary heritage.“
“Very cute place to get the best Mì Quảng in the city. The owner is absolutely hilarious but can be mistaken for rude. 10 out of 10 recommended, but be careful of the neighborhood. Attached image isn't the actual product.Parking: Only street parking is available. Sundays are free for metered areas. Side streets are free but difficult to find/navigate.“
“My friend and I tried this place for dinner for the first time, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the food. We ordered the summer roll, beef pho, and the house special vermicelli, which I particularly loved. The customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Looking forward to coming back for more dishes.“
“Edit: I would avoid take out. It just was not up to par. Proportions were not right. Very disappointing. That being said here is my dine in review- The pho and the bahn mi are delicious ! Fantastic broth. The bread for the bahn mi is wonderfully soft with a thin crisp crust. Can’t wait to go back. I will say the ordering process is a bit off.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian bahn mi that is very good“
“Ordered the beef stewed with noodle soup and the beef and beef ball noodle soup and it was amazing. We got the egg soda and it was also delicious! I should’ve ordered the regular size instead of a large because the portion size was huge. Will definitely come back“
“Just behind the Temple University Hospital there is darn good Pho. Generous portions, fresh ingredients and a clean dining area. While I gorged myself at least 4 delivery services picked up orders and multiple doctors picked up takeaway orders.“
“First time trying this place in back of the supermarket. Super friendly man at the counter. He described the foods as we ordered our favorites: Grilled Pork Banh Mi (Vietnamese baguette with grilled pork and vegetables)and bbq roast pork bun. Very flavorful and delicious. Definitely worth a try. Prices are reasonable.“
“So damn good I had to cuss about it. Congee was flavorful and absolutely delicious. Tofu was crispy AF. Yes for those herbs and lemons. Kept my coffee cup full- thank you fam. This place was hitting on all points.?????????????????Vegetarian options: Dishes are clearly marked. Vegan options ??“
“Fantastic food - fresh ingredients, delicious recipes and courteous service. I got the #40 vermicelli and shrimp - deliciously seasoned and grilled - unbelievable flavor. My friend got the steak pho - broth was amazing and the meat was delicious. My other friend got vermicelli with short rip and shrimp - also great. We got the summer roll for the table - everything was super fresh and good. Light and flavorful but filling.“
“I came here because it has the best reviews for pho in the area and I have to agree. The service was friendly and fast. My order came out within 5 minutes of ordering and it was delicious. I recommend the rare beef and brisket pho and lemonade.“
“Pho Ha is my go-to if I don’t want to cook dinner. Clean place with affordable prices, very open and family friendly style layout. Their pho is excellent but they also have great rice platters, especially the grilled pork and the short ribs. I always get the goi cuon (summer roll) appetizer too, they give you 2 rolls and you can choose shrimp and pork or shrimp and chicken. The pork inside the rolls is easy to bite, not chewy. The peanut dipping sauce coats the rolls well and it has a good peanut flavor.Parking: Parking lot in the shopping center or you can try to park on the streetKid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant, all ages welcome“
“I am not exaggerating when I say the Fried Avocado Bao Buns are one of the best meals I've ever had! The other vegan options are good, especially the Tofu Banh Mi, but the Fried Avocado Bao Buns are legit life-changing. I could eat them every day. You definitely need to try them!“
“This place is tucked away next to the supermarket with their side entrance. Nothing special inside but you're going there for their Pho. This place has amazing food. I ordered large special Pho rare beef and iced coffee. One taste and you'll be amazed. Probably one of the best pho around. Packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. I recommend trying them out if you're in the neighborhood.“
“The food is very delicious. The Pho is very fresh the broth is very flavorful. The other dishes are delicious. I’ve had the chicken fried rice and fried shrimp. I’ve also had the sweet and spicy chicken and the half chicken and rice. Yummy. Don’t forget the spring rolls.“
“Food is good but I stay away from anything with shrimp in it. The place is small and gets crowded quickly. I only wished they have some sort of system for customers when they are ready to pay. When it's really crowded , sometimes folks bust in front ( of those who are already patiently waiting )to pay for items and transactions could be longer depending on what else they want while they're at the register.“
“Overall the food was pretty good! The price-to-quantity ratio was a bit high though (although there may not be as much competition here in Philly). The savory crepes were really satisfying and the crepe is crunchy in a good way. Water fern dumplings are typically hard to find in the US, and it did not disappoint. The flounder was also cooked well and seasoned. The fried rice was alright, but not the best. The soft shell crab was definitely one of the best dishes here. The #1 dish in my opinion is the shaken beef. The meat is cooked to absolute perfection; it is truly tender and juicy while packed with flavor. I would definitely recommend and come back to this place for authentic Vietnamese food.“
“Anise is my new favorite pho in south jersey. Amazingly clean and flavorful broth and tender bits of bovine. Even the limes used as garnish were plump and juicy. Lastly, Anise is clean throughout including the Sriracha bottles on the table which seems rare elsewhere for some reason. Looking forward to coming back soon.“
“The food and atmosphere here are excellent! I have a thing for really good crispy Vietnamese Rolls (you know, not too greasy and fresh). They did not disappoint here. Crispy and delicious without being greasy and served with the lettuce, carrots and a delicious sauce. Also ordered the Bun Rieu Cua Dong, a really good crab noodle soup. Has such a good meal ordering some things to go before I leave. This would be a great space for a special event too; it's beautiful. Happy I discovered this place!!!“
