I'm new to the area and Marie's is the 2nd Jamaican restaurant I have visited. So let me start at the beginning, middle, and end: the food was great, the jerk chicken was nicely spiced without being heavy-handed and cooked to juicy perfection. the spice heat walked up on you, allowing you to enjoy the entire meal. This is the best Jamaican restaurant in the town hands-down the environment is very clean. The food is made with love, and the service is always top-tier. And it's a family owned business it can't get any better.

The cook was so nice, I asked, "Do you have any vegetarian dishes?" She replied, "No" but she put a few things together for me because it was close to closing time. The food was very delicious! I didn't expect the carrots and green beans to be soft and flavorful, especially the mashed potatoes.
