“I love this small gem because the food is delicious! The oxtails is my go to order but I have also had the bbq and jerk chicken. The favors of everything here I have ordered is what you would expect from an authentic Jamaican restaurant. Only thing that could improve is the interior. This is definitely a take out place not an atmosphere that invites you to dine in.“
“I have eaten here many times, and they never disappoint! I make it my business to eat from here when I come up to north Jersey. The service is always great. Everyone is friendly. The food is always amazing. I haven't gone here once and had a negative experience with the food. The curry shrimp is my personal favorite. Their desserts are delicious as well. The coconut rum cheesecake is lovely, and their new carrot cheesecake is the bomb. The prices are always super reasonable, and the portions are great. Love this place and highly recommend!!!!“
“I enjoyed my visit to this Golden Krust. We ordered two meals, patties, soup along with bun and cheese. We were treated warmly by the staff, received healthy portions of food and the price was quite reasonable. I pray a branch comes to South Jersey/Philadelphia area real soon.“
“I recently ordered carry-out from Mobay Caribbean restaurant, and I have to say that my experience was fantastic! The customer service was great, and my food was ready on time. But the real star of the show was the j*** chicken. It was absolutely amazing! The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. I could taste the smoky flavors, and the spices were spot on. It was hands down the best j*** chicken I've ever had.The sides were just as impressive. The rice and peas were perfectly cooked, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Even the plantains were cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also tried the curry goat, and it was incredible. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the curry sauce had the perfect balance of spices.Overall, I highly recommend Mobay Caribbean restaurant. The quality of the food is simply amazing, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean cuisine, you won't be disappointed. “It’s mainly a takeout place. It has a small counter like dine in area but only has four seats.It has the best jerk chicken in town and that’s all I ever had here. It also serves curry dish, snapper, and goat and oxtails for the adventurous ones.An order comes with rice and bean, cabbages, and plantain.It also has patties but those run out fast.“
“The food here is really tasty and authentic for sure. It definitely gives a more “At Home” flavor rather than your typical Caribbean restaurant which is a huge plus for me. I’ve come here a few times and they have never missed a beat. It’s evident that they take pleasure in what they do from the consistent standard of excellence they uphold in addition to the amazing customer service from Ms Ann in the front. “Food was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was so sweet, patient and nice. I went in too late and wanted the fry chicken and they took their time and remade the chicken for me. The homemade juices are absolutely spectacular especially the pineapple ginger and sorrel!“
“The cook was so nice, I asked, "Do you have any vegetarian dishes?" She replied, "No" but she put a few things together for me because it was close to closing time. The food was very delicious! I didn't expect the carrots and green beans to be soft and flavorful, especially the mashed potatoes.“
