There was one extremely helpful young man behind the counter. I told him I wanted enough lobster for 4 adults and one child. He brought over a lobster that was 2.35lbs. It had a huge tail. I bought two more for a total of 3 weighing about 7.25 lbs. the price was right and he showed each lobster before he put them in the bag. I refrigerated them and cooked for Sunday dinner. They were perfect“

“Finally had the opportunity to have dinner at this historic and legendary seafood restaurant and it did not disappoint. Having been to many seafood houses along the east coast, I am giving this one my highest rating. Sorry that it took me so long to get here, but since now I am living closer, I will be back as often as as I can. We had a 4:15 reservation and the first thing I noticed was the long line outside the door, I soon found out that these were people who were waiting to get the first seats at the bar for the fantastic Happy Hour, a great idea where their array of superior oysters can be found for less than half the price. We sat done for dinner and were immediately treated to superior, friendly and efficient service. We started with a dozen oysters going with the recommended Blue Points and Delaware’s, these were some of the best I have ever had, fresh, ice cold, juicy ,briny and incredibly flavorful. We went on to try the Manhattan Clam Chowder, served with fresh whole clams and a light tasty broth, a departure from standard and quite appealing. I had a blackened red fish in a Cajun stew with andouille, shrimps and okra, this was a spectacular dish made with some of the freshest and tastiest red fish that I have ever come across, hat’s off to the chef on this one!! We capped off this wonderful meal with their unbeatable bananas, caramel and creme pie. Bravo, bravo, bravo….“

It's actually a local seafood market, a couples of blocks from the boardwalk, but they have hot menu items that you can dine in if a table is available. They just have a few tables and stools. Food is fresh, tastes like home cooked meals, and is so affordable. Owners are very nice and attentive, and asked how everything was. This will be our go to whenever we're in Atlantic City“
“I'm afraid to leave a review because this spot already is so acclaimed. I've been trying to get a reservation for some time and was finally able to get one so here we were. This restaurant is always listed as the best in AC and a top restaurant in the state. I usually worry that places don't live up to the hype. We hear they truly delivered and everything was better than my expectations. If you eat hear you have to do the tableside experience other wise why are you here??? Every dish was fantastic. The tableside mozzarella was a table favorite The Caesars salad was tableside and great. My personal favorite was the Cavatelli. I can't stop raving about it. Was truly the best I have ever had and this is a must get in my book of you go here. The chicken parm was great and so was the halibut We will return I know this review will add to making it more difficult to get in here but it's well deserved Truly one of my favorite places to eat now“

“Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . “Chef Sheed's BBW food is excellent. Off the beaten path, cannot eat in. Stars off for that but 5 stars for the food. He has his own smoker truck. I had the smoked beef brisket platter. My body won't process meat anymore. It has to be good quality and soft( like a good rare filet mignon) . His brisket was amazing. You get 2 sides with the platter. I got collard greens which were my favorite greens besides my own. Very delicious. And I got Mac and cheese. OMG......it's Mac and Heaven. That honestly is the best Mac and cheese that I ever ate. “My favorite place to drive my ski up to on a hot day. I love there happy hour deals on food. They make amazing onion rings. Nothing beats enjoying a meal with such a perfect view! Definitely worth the boat ride or drive depending on how you arrive. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. During the summer the green heads are a nightmare and in the fall there are tons of bees. Not to worry that’s why you can dine inside if you can’t escape them.Parking: It’s nice you can park by the boat docks and bbq shack which use to be the redneck lounge.
