“Not the first time or the last time. Excellent selections, food choices. Started with the soup followed by appetizers. The mussels in red sauce with the artesian bread was great, a meal in itself. The main entry Stuffed jumbo shrimp for the wife the Codfish for myself covered with just the right of amount of capers in red sauce. Followed by a slice of Ricotta & pistachio cake cake. “Went to the Elbow Room last night. We were met at the door by the owner. Madeline adorable Spitfire place was pretty busy so we decided to sit at the bar. Got a couple drinks. The bartenders were very cool great conversation had a Long Island iced tea and a nice cold beer we ordered those teriyaki bone wings. Fabulous the best wings I’ve had in a very long time. My husband had the cowboy burger it was huge it was cooked perfect. French fries were so good cause they were hand cut. I had the salmon it came with basmati, rice, and vegetables. It was crisp on the outside great sauce Walked around saw the place very cute so a couple friends we knew we’ll definitely be back so if you haven’t been around Bradley Beach lately dropping into the Elbow Room Guarantee you’ll have a great meal. White Beans and Escarole, "delicious" yet short in volume, my brother had the Salmon Bites (like a steak cut up) with tomato and spinach with a "generous portion of salmon." I had the side of Broccoli Rabe (FANTASTIC) and a Margarita Pizza and it was cold so we took what was left home. The photos are what the pizza looks like when you get home. “We love this place. Have been coming here for years. Great food, especially the pizza. It has lots of seating including booths, high tops and tables. The bar is spacious and the crowd is friendly. The staff is great, no matter how crowed it is everything comes out quickly. Past night had the spinach dip that was made in a bread bowl, my new favorite appetizer, feeds two people. Plenty of parking.“
“I came on a Thursday afternoon after a long Wednesday night and let me tell you for those of you that don’t know these can be some of your toughest ratings based off physical and mental prowess. The food was stellar and the service second to none. I was just speaking with my party about what kind of burger we wanted and it came out split on the plate for us. Watching the bartender behind the bar absolutely command the grill was an experience in itself. I would suggest stopping in for 4 hours and leaving fulfilled.“

He was very welcoming and nice, Our service was great. I did not catch our waitresses name but she is a younger girl and was amazing. She was beyond friendly and attentive. We all got different foods. The special, butternut squash soup was a huge hit at our table. Everyone loved their dinner as well ( chicken franchise, lasagna, short ribs to name a few) and my leftovers were just as good the next day. We certainly plan to go back. “We just had our wedding at Watermark on Saturday and I could not wait to leave a review. Everything exceeded our expectations!!! The owner Russell was so easy to communicate with and was hands-on for the entire wedding. We truly felt that by the end of the event, Russell and his staff were part of our family. The wait staff and bartenders were amazing. But the food blew our minds. I never expected it to be as good as it was. The weddings at Watermark are very non-traditional. There is no sit-down dinner, yet they provide more than enough food. The third course is called "mini meals" which they pass around in bowls. These were unbelievably delicious. And the venue itself was just so classy yet casual. The couches and comfy chairs, huge windows with an amazing view of the ocean, big dance floor, and an awesome second-floor deck. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a non-traditional wedding to check out Watermark.“

“Went with my husband today, he had the crab cake sandwich with house cut fries, both were delicious. I had the blackened shrimp poke bowl. First time I had a poke bowl and it will definitely will not be my last. I only gave the atmosphere a 4 star because it was super loud inside and I basically yelled the entire time to talk. We had Victoria as our server and she was an excellent one at that. Prompt and extremely pleasant. We will go back again to try something else and hopefully have her again as our server.“
“I am updating my latest review. We have since been to The Windward twice and both times have been markedly improved since over the summertime. Both times we were seated within a reasonable time. Waitress came to the table within a few minutes and was both attentive and treated us like family instead of aged customers.Drinks ordered and served immediately. Dinner ordered and served quickly. We both ordered hot open sandwiches which were served within 10-15 minutes. They were very tasty and we enjoyed every bite.“

“I'm sure this place is packed during the summer. Very cute seafood restaurant that is on the water. Lots of outside sitting. We started with the pretzal app which comes with jalapeño cheese. The pretzals come with 3 pretzal sticks. They were really good. I was very disappointed with the fish and chips. Huge portion but they had absolutely no flavor, not even salt. I asked for lemon and cocktail sauce to try and help. The waiter brought one small slice of lemon. The cocktail sauce had a good taste so it helped make the fish easier to eat. The fish was also so greasy. It is placed on top of the fries so the fries had so much grease you couldn't eat them. Definitely well try again because the food being brought to other tables liked so good. The fish sandwich looked really good and the chicken pot pie was huge and looked so crispy.“

“I travel for work. I come to this area twice a year. I have visited BHT 3 times now. My first time was a less than stellar visit. The host who seated me was polite all three times. My server never smiled, and during the whole visit, it made me feel like I was an inconvenience. She took my order and disappeared. Another staff member brought me my drink and appetizer. That is not unusual for this type of business. A while later, my meal came. While I ate, I could see my server talking with the host or up at the bar. Her body language indicated she wasn't having a good night. At no time did she ever come to check on me. She seemed more interested in talking to other staff while they worked. Every day at work isn't always going to be a good day, I understand that. Once finished with my meal, I had to wait for almost 25 minutes to get my check. Then, after taking my card, it took her almost 15 minutes to return for my signature. I was not impressed.6 months later, I returned. I saw the same waitress wearing the same aggravated look and was thankful she wasn't my server. Unfortunately, this server, an older woman, wasn't much better. The food was good, and being that I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street, it was convenient. The service was again slow to a fault. You'd think I wouldn't return.This brings us to last night. Once again, the food was good and convenient. I had actually looked on Google Maps to find someplace else. I read a lot of reviews to see what others may have thought. There were several with similar experiences, but those were 4 months or older. So I decided to chance it. I am glad I did. Bryan was my server. I didn't see either one of my previous servers around. Bryan was attentive and had a positive attitude. He checked up on me often and was a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, this time, I was the problem. Being the bonehead, I can be from time to time, I left my wallet across the street in my room. I asked for a manager, and expecting pushback, I explained my mistake. He understood and allowed me to leave so I could return with my wallet. When I did, I was met by Bryan with the same positive attitude. Needless to say, I will be returning during my next visit to the area. It was nice to see that they had listened to the reviews and made corrections. I definitely will recommend this establishment. ?“
“Our friends were celebrating a birthday so we did a group rate brunch. The overall cost came out to be $60+ a person which I thought to be a tad expensive but it’s okay. The food was really good. We were first served some fresh fruit and danishes. Couldn’t tell you what kind of danishes they were, but they were surprisingly delicious. Next was the main course which was the chicken & waffles. The chicken was spectacular, the waffles were perfect, and the gravy was tasty. My only gripe was at random moments I would taste something super super sweet. Not exactly sure what it was, but it was sometimes overpowering. The short rib hash was tasty but a bit dry. Felt like it was just too much potatoes and not enough egg or meat to have a good blend. Overall it was a great time, the staff was super friendly and on top of their game.“
