The cutlet is breaded and surrounded by a downright tasty combination of seasoning and fried to golden brown perfection in such a fashion that your taste buds will be forever mystified, just as mine have been for about a year or so now since I discovered this gem while traveling down US-46 on essential business. “This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. They make great spaghetti sauce and have wonderful sandwiches too but I'm cutting back on bread so I can't say I've had them that much“

“The wife and I had a busy day and we were hungry. Fast food seemed to be the choice until we passed by this place by chance on Stevens Avenue. We stopped in, looked at the choices and decided to give them a try with their special and an eggplant Parm that looked real good. When we sat down at home to a glass of wine and this food, we were floored. Real food, absolutely delicious and healthy. And the price was an incredible value for what we got. This time we brought a nice bottle of Chianti and sat down in a very, very simple decor. Forget the decor. We split the appetizer, crescentina (Bolognese) with arugula, burrata mozzarella (he made it) and San Danielle prosciutto. They are starting to make pizza so we decided to split a Margerita. WOW! We walked out not bloated, satisfied and pining to come back next week. We spent about $35 ( not including tip). Again. An value unheard of in the city. As a newbee from the city to Little Falls, I can not believe the quality of the food these two put out. It is on par with the city and way, way, way better priced. This is a place to go to every other week, if not more. WE WILL BE BACK!!!Vegetarian options: The owner told us to just tell him we wanted and they will make itKid-friendliness: What kid does not like meatballs?“

“YUM YUM YUM First of all Larry, the owner is the nicest guy ever. His homemade items are tremendous and never short on taste or flavor. Here is what i cannot live without. Here goes, his homemade bologna, liverwurst, spicy polish loaf, homemade hot dogs and Spanish hot dogs along with his breakfast sausage are items like you never ever had before. Thank GOD he is right in Mahwah , NJ To get these gems of food, I grew up in the 50's and feel I am back in time when quality meant everything. Make sure you stop there and try everyone of these items and you will be a customer forever. None better. Wherever you are, it is well worth the drive to indulge in these amazingly delicious meats. “Listen I've tried pizza all over NJ this place absolutely hits different.. Not a thin pizza or a regular its a SQUARE pizza but do NOT get this confused with a Sicilian. Everything is made to order!!! We got a Chicken parm pizza with vodka sauce well done.... They told us 25 mins. Went to pick it up and was chatting with someone who seemed to be the owner. (Didn't ask) I said this is our first time ordering from you, she said your going to love this pizza. She then said I'm sorry it's taking so long with the ricotta... My mind intrigued I said for what, she said, going in the vodka sauce..... I wish I had a picture, but we absolutely destroyed it. Huge chunks of chicken cutlets as well! I recommend not to walk or stroll but RUN to get this pizza! Highly recommend and definitely didn't disappoint I will be back. Also got a list of their specials, which change weekly/biweekly as I was informed.“

“I got a take-out lunch after a hike in the area. The fish sandwich with tartar sauce was very good (and very obviously made in-house with care), and their cucumber salad was the perfect side dish. “A walk into Otto's is a walk back into the past when neighborhoods had small businesses and everyone knew one another. But one thing didn't change. The high quality and authentic homemade German salads, delicious sandwiches, German specialties and frozen treats (for the Bogue Pond playground visitors) are tallied up the old fashioned way by Helmut, the owner, with a pencil on your bag. There's even an old hand-cranked cash register to make your change. I've been a customer over 30 years, and highly recommend. We need more places like Otto's Deli.“
