“When my inay (mom) was sick, I would always pick up soup from Pompton Thai for her. One day we finally decided to eat in and we just kept coming back! The service and atmosphere is lovely and the food is fantastic. I would recommend again and again!“

“02/10/2024 We've been here a few times lately. The last time we came here a few weeks ago, my wife had the Duck Tamarind which was probably the best duck either of us had ever had. Pretty sure I had the Drunken Noodles which was also, excellent. Then... we decided to try 'take out' and again, my wife had the Duck Tamarind, but I being a lover of curry, opted for the Duck Curry. This dish too was easily as excellent, maybe better than the Duck Tamarind (my wife is shaking her head 'no'). I had the Duck Curry again 'today'... and it was even better than the time we ordered take out and I'll tell you why. The takeout Duck Curry came with the sauce all over the duck, which while still very tasty, made the duck less 'crispy'. Today (yesterday actually) enjoying the duck in the restaurant, the beautiful duck was place on some pineapple swimming in the sauce, but not on top, leaving all that wonderful duck skin so nice and crispy. Excellent duck either way... but better enjoying it IN the Bistro. Oh... you have to try their Thai Corner Sampler. (See picture below.) The service might have been a bit slow, but only because they were so busy. However, the waitresses were always cheerful and courteous despite running around like crazy taking care of all the customers. They are also a BYO, so MORE bonus points!!!“

“The food tastes amazing! I ate red curry with tofu and drunken noodles with tofu. Was very impressed! 4 stars was given because it didn’t have too much tofu (5 pieces) and the rice quantity is too little. I finished all the rice and still had 1/3 the curry left. For the taste I would definitely recommend and come back!Vegetarian options: Tofu as a protein.“

“We just ordered food from here and WOW! Best Thai food in the area by a long shot, everything is just so flavorful and cooked to perfection, even the rice was above average. You can tell they put the time and effort into their food! This is our new go to Thai place for sure!“

“Everything my parents and I had was delicious! The mango curry, the drunken noodles and the seafood soup. A side of coconut rice to go with the curry was perfection. It was such a pleasure to be there as the hostess/waitress was incredibly sweet.“

“Quaint little place with friendly staff and delicious food. The Pad Thai was sweet and savory, one of the better dishes. The Massaman Curry was also sweet, and delicious. The Crab Fried Rice was ok as well as the calamari appetizer. The Crab Mango Salad and the Green Mango Salad (with shrimp) were similar in taste; just the right bit of sour from the dressing and sweet from the Mango. The Basil chicken had a lot of flavor and good, but I would maybe try something else next time. Overall, great food!“

“Stopped by here and tried out the food, the Beef Lo-Mein was done so fast it wasn’t even 10 minutes after I ordered! The Lo-Mein was nice and flavourful, and the beef was so tender I didn’t even have to chew. The soda choice was pretty good, and the soda was still nice and bubbly, meaning that it was nice and fresh! This place is a hidden gem!“

More of a take out restaurant with a window counter table with couple of seatings.Better (and less expensive) than the couple of other Chinese and Thai restaurants we tried nearby, i.e. T.S. Ma.The portions are very generous, and they add a lot of protein (which are also very tender), so no need to add extra protein.Favorite dishes are the pad thai, drunken noodles, eggplant dishes, 'four season', pork dumplings (made in house), fried rice and their chicken wings (which are massive). One dish we would love to see here is Thai style crab fried rice.They also have ramen, but the broth doesn't have the richness and flavor that you find in a typical 'Japanese' style ramen, more on the lighter/healthier side, if that is your style.P.S.
