“My husband and I have visited La Strada a number of times over the years. Back in April, after the pandemic, when eating inside was allowed once again, we visited and wasn't happy with the service, nor the meal. But keep in mind, most places were having a difficult time finding help. We thought that we would once again give La Strada a try, and we were very happy and delighted with everything. First, the service was excellent. Upon sitting down, bread, butter and a array of olives were served. We then ordered drinks and dinner. Dinner came with a wonderful house salad. (We loved the house dressing.) My husband order Chicken Marsala and I ordered Chicken Parm. Both meals were excellent and very generous in size. (Enough left overs for another meal.) They obviously had gotten a new chef, who is excellent. Also, they had a number of waiters/waitresses, who were very attentive. They really have greatly improved over our last experience, and we'll be going back soon.“

“Hadn't eaten here in a little while. We really enjoyed the food and drink quite a bit! I love eating small plates and getting different tastes. Our favorites were the chicken and waffles, pulled pork sliders, shrimp and chicken specialty tacos and we ordered truffle fries (off menu) that were delicious. My boys don't love vegetables but they even liked the shaved Brussel sprout salad! We will definitely be back.“

“The Beacon was so accommodating since I planned my entire wedding dinner within a month. I needed as few headaches as possible. Edna coordinated everything! The staff was very polite and attentive. “My wife and a good friend ate at Mia Nonna's yesterday. I have never given a restaurant a review because I never felt compelled to. That changed yesterday. The first thing we noticed was the fantastic attitude of the staff. Eager and constantly at our service. Then there was the food. Excellent and generous portions. And served HOT! First, we started with an order of the Fresh Fried Calamari. Shared 3 ways it was excellent. I had the veal saltimbocca. As another reviewer commented, I got two very large portions of veal, pounded so thin it was almost as thin as the prosciutto. Served with broccoli, carrots, and roasted potatoes. One of my favorites when dining Italian. This was one of the best. My wife had the special veal dish and my friend had the penne alla scampi. Everything was excellent. We finished with dessert, home made creme brûlée, spumoni bomba (strawberry pistachio and chocolate gelato covered with chocolate). The wait staff was excellent and always there meeting our needs. And equally important to seniors with hearing aids, it was quiet with gentle background music. A very pleasant dining experience. We have definitely added Mia Nonna's to our "weekend night out" list. We will be back soon.“
