“Favorite place in nj. Korean rice cakes are always delicious and can tell the quality and time it took to make these desserts. Sometimes if you go in the afternoon some of the selections are sold out so try to get there early. Great to treat yourself or give as a gift. They have individually sized ones as well as sets.“

“We go to Paris Baguette every once in a while, but haven't been to this location before. It is right by Super H Mart, so it is convenient if you want to get grocery shopping done and have some desserts. It is quite small, smaller than the other locations we have been too. They have just one register, so the line can be long at time. The staffs there are pleasant and efficient, so the line does move quickly. They don't have loads of seating, but most people don't stay too long here, so there should not be too much problem getting a seat. There are also tables and chairs outside as well. The selection of desserts, savory items, and cakes are very good. We were able to find all the items we had cravings for. We enjoyed our little visit here. If we go to that H Mart, we will definitely stop by again.“

I went for blueberry pancakes while my husband went for the Huevos Rancheros. The food was superb and the service was excellent but especially so from Jess (I think) who was working behind the counter - multitasking to a ridiculous degree but so on top of tending to everyone promptly and taking time to chat too. “Lovely, compact Scandi bakery with a small market in the back with selection of Haribo licorice and more.We ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich, cardamom bun, and salmon focaccia. When I come back, I’m definitely going to order the breakfast sandwich with a perfect brioche bun and thick multi-herb green aioli/sauce as the bottom layer! This was the most memorable of the items. Salmon was generously applied to the focaccia along with thick chive cream cheese, but the flavor combination wasn’t quite as unique in the lox bagel capital of the world. The cardamom bun could benefit from, well, more cardamom. And I fully admit that I’m not being quite fair on this front after having tasted the cardamom buns at Juno Bakery in Copenhagen, which are laced with so much freshly ground cardamom throughout that the scent fills the surrounding neighborhood. If you’ve tasted these buns, Smor’s will underwhelm you, but they are definitely one of the best in NYC.“

We liked the smaller, slightly sweet, baked, 8-to-a-box, red roast pork buns better because of the higher meat to bun ratio. “This is a store specializing in delicious mousse. My recommendation is the passion fruit flavor.Other flavors tend to be sweeter, but the passion fruit flavor is sweet and sour, and when eaten with other flavors, it brings out the goodness of the other flavors. The passion fruit flavor was the least I expected before I bought it, but now it's a must buy.Overall, the texture was good and it was like eating a mousse cake from a high-end restaurant. Considering that, I think it's a pretty cheap price.I've only purchased take-out items, but there is an eat-in area, and I feel like the customer base is mostly cute women. It was never crowded, giving the impression that it was a hidden gem of a sweets shop. It's in East Harlem, so I'm hesitant to go there, but I feel like Japanese tourists can walk up to East 100th without worrying. This is my favorite sweets specialty store.A mousse with a smooth texture.I especially recommend the passion fruit flavor. But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. Pleasant surprise.Matcha latte was reasonable and not remarkable -- lacking in latte art but slightly making up for it in portion. Also, could have been sifted/whisked some more because there were lumpy chunks at the bottom. Nevertheless I won't let this pull down the 5⭐ for food.~10am on a rainy Sunday morning but the place was almost full. And there was a robust pickup / delivery business.“

“First and foremost, their pastries are wonderful! Came in the morning when everything was well stocked. They had a variety of bomboloni (Italian fried doughnuts), croissants, cookies and muffins. They had at least 3 different flavors of bomboloinis (orange spritz, blueberry/raspberry, strawberry cream) and at least 4 type of croissants (butter, everything, basil cream cheese, espresso). There were even more but I've forgotten. I got two sweet and two savory ones plus an Americano. The total was $28 which in my opinion is a decent price for NYC. I saw a board outside that a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee combo is $9. Other than what's displayed, they also have a food menu. I noticed someone ordered an everything croissant with egg and salmon or prosciutto. It looked really good so I will definitely be going back for that. They have a large space. There are cozy seats and tables at the front. The back has plenty of tables and chairs. They even have a long bar table with high chairs against the wall opposite their open kitchen. They also placed a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Most importantly, they have one clean handicap assessable restroom. Next to that there is a storage area that they tried to shield with trees. I appreciate they try to make the space pretty and clean.“

“I was cast under the spell of consumerism and got the $15 cookie tin.As for the cookies themselves they are pretty good, a little on the sweet side and a touch overpriced. But when in New York, one must try Levain Bakery. Service was very friendly and fast, interior was quaint and perfect for your social media photoshoots. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again but who am I to turn down a warm chocolate chip cookie?“

“This was recommended by Future Canoe YouTube channel. Takeout only. I had a pineapple pork bun. Delicious! Taste similar to what I had in Singapore. I also ordered the shiumai (pork dumplings), the best shiumai I've ever had. Big pieces and full of meat. I would come back for sure. Because it's takeout only, it's quite hard to eat outside the restaurant but so worth it. Service was quick even though there's a line.“

“Before you go here you should know you can only buy 3 bagels w/ a side (butter, cream cheese, etc) for $12( you cant buy a singular bagel! There’s no bacon, egg bagels or anything like that! The only thing I didn’t like is that you had to cut the bagel open yourself with a wooden knife & put your cream cheese inside & the whole point of buying a bagel sandwich is that you don’t have to make it yourself ( if your on the go or anything) and here you have to, which I’m pretty sure that’s the whole point of the shop. But I might as well buy a 12 pack of bagels & butter at the store for less than $12 and do it at home because it’s the same thing.Anyways I stumbled upon this place & would definitely visit again because the bagels were delicious & crunchy! There was a line but it went super fast because all they do it throw the bagels in the bag & give you your side.“

“This cafe is a lovely escape from the mean streets of the city. Wonderful desserts and beverages. However, it can be very crowded. That isn't a bad thing, you just need to be prepared for the crowds at certain times. We love going here and having tea and hot chocolate.“

“A delicious cookie spot! I finally caved and tried one. It is tasty, crunchy and soft and chocolatey as a good cookie should be. Honestly, for the city and the size of it, the price is okay. I definitely enjoyed it and understand why it is so cherished. I enjoyed mine in the park.“

“A damn good burger! ? Seriously I’ve had a lot of burgers in my life and burgers happen to be my favorite food but this all American cheeseburger from @cake_burgers has to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I mean from the top to the bottom the soft, perfectly toasted brioche bun, to the perfectly crisp and fresh lettuce and tomatoes and melty cheese, and their special burger sauce?! Whenever a restaurant has a special sauce I have to try it because I have high expectations and this one exceeded it. The grilled onions made it even better! The meat was perfectly cooked and so juicy. It was like my dream burger had finally come to fruition. I am also a big sweet potato fries lover and they make the PERFECT sweet potato fries, everything is balanced so nicely from seasoning to texture. It’s no surprise the chef has past experience working at Michelin star restaurants and even received compliments from THE Anthony Bourdain!!!! I can’t wait to come back and try their specialty cakes and other desserts! My new favorite burger joint ??Plus the owners are so sweet and kind and provide amazing service and fun and welcoming atmosphere!“

“Very lovely drinks and cookies! But my friend was very unsatisfied with the girl wearing glasses… we ordered around 17 dollars for food, and the girl was going to take the 5-dollar note for the tip. My friend refused and gave 2 dollars tip. I guess the girl is unhappy with this and then showed her dead face. When my friend asked questions, she didn’t want to respond and looked away and showed her speechless face. This is ruining the reputation of this bakery. The other girl, I guess is French, is nice and friendly.“
