“I had been meaning to go for about a year. A friend and I finally went last night. The waitress was awesome! We ordered an appetizer: bruschetta. We shared a pizza...it was absolutely delish! I heartily recommend this place.Vegetarian options: We had a specialty vegetarian pizza. It had spinach, artichokes, garlic and lemon zest.“

“Seen this place on YouTube by a food reviewer. We’re visiting the area so I definitely had it on my list of places to try. I ordered the salt and pepper wings sweet and spicy with a side of rice and fries. The standout in this order are the sweet and spicy wings.I could’ve eaten just a 10 pc of that flavor alone. The salt and pepper wings were simply good. The customer service was excellent I would definitely come back here.“

“Be Well is one of my favorite spots in the area. Food is actually healthy and made fresh to order. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. They remember faces and names. And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. Parking or pulling up for a takeout order are also both very easy since it's away from the congested business district of Rutherford.“

“My experience at my salad was a good one. The woman that helped me was very nice kind and did exactly what I want it for my salads. When I went to go pay she asked me if I had entered for points I told her I did not she told me exactly what to do gave me the menu with the scan code to scan because I've been there many times before and I did not know that this was a service. My experience there was excellent and I go there all the time.“

We are fourteen months in Riverdale, and have been going to the Japanese place across the street ("Palace" is part of its name) but friends told us about Aoyu, and after tonight's dinner we are converted. Fresh ingredients, full of flavor: even the dinner salad, usually a mundane dish of iceberg lettuce, one grape tomato, and orange dressing, was full of fresh greens and a subtle dressing. Edamane: also fresh and salty. I ordered a seared salmon roll and was delighted by the freshness of the fish. My wife loved her salmon teriyaki, a huge portion; my chicken katsu was crisp, not greasy, and so generous. Red bean ice cream and we were done. A very clean place, well-lit, and delightfully friendly young waitstaff. Five stars, no. How about fifty?“

“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

After ordering and eating entirely too much delicious food the couple who owns the restaurant gave me a ride to the bus station. “Ban Ban Shop is a very cute fusion restaurant that opened across from Columbia University that serves a banh mi, baos, rice bowls, maki rolls, and grain bowls. 3.5 stars: I was very excited to try the banh mi here, but was lowkey disappointed. I ordered the Five Spice Roasted Pork Banh Mi. Don't get me wrong, the pork is very well seasoned/marinated and tender. Unfortunately, the baguette here is too soft, and the oil from the pork does seep through. The key to a good banh mi is the baguette - light on the inside with a thin and crispy crust. You'll know the baguette is good when the roof of your mouth gets destroyed by the time you finish it.“

“This is my second time eating here. First one was long time ago (I don’t live around) for Ramadan dinner. This time was for lunch. They have good soups and good pide. I had kelle paca (lamb head meat in a broth) and kusbasili pide. Both were delicious. My sons had red lentil soup and pastrami pide, they loved it. Owner and workers are very friendly and always pay attention to the table. This place is far to my home but if I pass by again definitely would stop either for eat-in or takeout.“

“The service was outstanding, and the food surpassed expectations. The bathroom had inclusive signage with symbols representing all people. Although there was a parking lot, it was quite crowded and challenging to find a spot. The ambiance inside is a bit loud. However, for birthdays, they sing "Happy Birthday" and blow bubbles, creating a delightful atmosphere.“

“Recently we had the pleasure of having our wedding rehearsal dinner at Lassoni. Caesar and the Lassoni team did not miss a detail. All 40 people agreed the food some of the best Italian food they have ever had and every diet restriction was met. We had wine by the bottle, a four course meal and even dessert. Working with Caesar made the entire night possible and affordable. The environment made everyone even more excited for the big day to follow. We can not thank you enough for a great night and everyone still talking about how delicious it was weeks after!“

I was going to make a return trip there but unfortunately went on a Monday and found out they were closed, so anyone planning to go there, keep that in mind.
