We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. “An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. “Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“
