“I have to say I really enjoy The Thirsty Turtle. Although it's a sports bar and you think it might just be cool to watch a game, the food and staff are excellent and professional. We went the other night and met friends for dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The waiter, (I don't remember his name), but he memorized our order and everything came out perfect! We had appetizers, burgers, beer & drinks, and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I also have to call out Manny who went above and beyond in helping me. He is smart and knows how to treat customers. Any establishment should be lucky to have him!“

“This was on my list to visit and I was able to do so today. I had dinner there and the steak was good but wish it came out warmer... I think it was waiting for my friend's salmon to be cooked as her food was hotter. The mash potatoes was hot though. The espresso martini was good definitely deserves a return. Service was absolutely excellent. Mauricio was pleasant, personable, and charming also funny.Overall lovely place I would return to, for sure..maybe they have brunch I'll need to check but then again maybe not as it opens at 4 pm.Parking: There is a parking lot but it doesn't look huge and it's across the street from the establishment.. You can do street parking I don't believe I saw any meters.“

“We joined some family* here for lunch today. The bldg and the grounds were lovely looking. The inside has both banquet rooms for private events as well as a family feel bar and dining area. We were seated right away and the server was very prompt and friendly. Menu although not that large had a good variety. From appetizers and soups to full on entrees there was plenty to choose from. They had several specials to offer today. They are known for the burgers apparently. My aunt and husband both had the Swiss Mountain Burger. Both enjoyed them. Although the cooking between them was a bit different. My husband's was a bit pink IMO but he likes rare so didn't really care. My daughter enjoyed the penne and meatballs from the dedicated kids menu. It came with a drink and dessert. The portion was hearty and she loved the meatball! Dinner rolls on the table were amazing. Mini chibatta style that were crusty in the outside and soft and chewy in the inside. My uncle had the chicken cashew salad. Large salad although looked like only iceberg as the base. Overall filled with plenty of toppings. I enjoyed one of the salmon specials for today. I chose the grilled lemon pepper salmon. All entrees like this are served with either rice or potato and veggies. I had mashed which were very creamy and flavorful. The salmon had good flavor but IMO was cooked just a little too long. It was flaky but the edges seemed a little dry. Overall I'd recommend it but suggest asking for a medium cook. They offered a dessert menu although everyone was full and decided on just some specialty coffee. Most dishes were in the $15-25 range. “The other day I got, La Galera Centro Americana Restaurant, for lunch. I ordered their Meatballs w/ Black Rice & Red Beans. It was absolutely delicious! I asked the lady for more veggies than rice, and she happily obliged. I really loved their Meatballs, and also the Red Beans. Excellent flavors to combine. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and attentive. It seems like a nice, quaint, family type of place to eat. And for just a little over $10 was a complete steal. I’d def try this place again, their other menu items looked phenomenal. I’d also recommend to anyone in the, City of Orange, area looking for some decent Spanish food.“
“I had been hearing about the reasonably priced beers at Johnnie's from different people. I was surprised by the size of the place and that they had game room area. There was a mixed crowd of people all seeming to have a great time socializing. We shared a bar pie that was good too.“

Parking lot it's a little small but I notice parking across the street from the business, so parking is not an issue. The place is not wheelchair accessible so if you have a problem like me going up/down stairs hold on thigh to the rail. Once inside I was greeted by a nice lady (owner maybe) and ask me if I reservation I said no but she got a table for me & my wife. Typical bar menu with an Asian twist, burgers with kimchi and teriyaki sauce, Asian nachos and tres leches wonton. The place is crowded but it's because is good ambience and the music is the best music I have ever heard in many restaurants I have been. Yeah the place is good overall, but the menu is very limited and the Asian flavor on almost every item not for me, but is ok to try.“
