“Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“
“Their Seaside Tony is the sandwich to get, if you're there for the night, weekend, or live there( especially live there). All the locals order it. Service is excellent. I used to go there when I was a kid. And it's the same owner. The only time I go there now is when I'm in town. I've been critiquing food for the past twenty years and Steaks unlimited is by far the best Cheese steaks in the tri state area, which includes Philly. (In my opinion) atmosphere, is a down home shake shop. Very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended before you walk up to the Beach Comber“
“If you keep it simple here you'll be fine. Picnic table seating and a decent burger make the Chop Shop a very smart low-key choice when in the always sketchy Seaside Heights vicinity. Remember to go to the Chop Shop serving food instead of the numerous shops in the area dismantling your 2022 Camry. A very solid burger. Four, very solid stars.“
“If their menu included calorie counts, I would've passed on House of Fries. But when you're down the shore, it's ok to splurge. I ordered the Cheesesteak Fries and they were piled high and delicious. I couldn't finish it. My only complaint is the amount of calories I consumed. Diet starts Monday!“
“Great dive bar with excellent bartenders. While it doesn't look like much compared to the other bars in town, it does deliver with its old style feel and more than standard drinks. You will never be disappointed or feel ripped off when ordering a drink from this place (cheap and made right).“
“We stopped here by chance, best place by far we stopped in at! Food was amazing, service was outstanding! The dark hair girl that started us off when we got there was on top of things, when she had to close out the guy with tattooed arms covered us just as well. They were on top of the orders and quick to make sure drinks weren’t empty and smiling and extremely pleasant the whole time. We were on the balcony and had a fantastic time and even saw the fireworks there. Spent many more hours than expected, and would definitely do it again! Can’t recommend this place enough!“
“Food was pretty good. Service was decent. My son had fun and picked up some blonde :P he's 4 and some girl was nice enough to let him throw a few basketballs for the game they had. My mom was not a fan of this place at all but I'm the one writing the review :P“
“It's my first time coming to EJ's Tap house for a surprise bday get together for my boyfriend's Uncle Mimmy's 60th Birthday Party. My first impression was meeting Uncle Mimmy, he's so polite, nice & funny as hell, he's a nice person to be around. As a matter of fact, I met Amanda George's cousin, who is also so so nice, & Maryellen George's Auntie, she's also so sweet. Everyone in George's family is so so nice, polite and friendly; & also welcoming too. Anyways, when you go into EJ's Tap House, it's a nice bar area with a nice seating area to drink beers, or alcoholic beverages, non alcoholic beverages too & also play pool too. “Fun atmosphere, nice staff, clean too but I really like it because of their food. I tried fish and chips from so many places down there trying to find the one I love most and Hook's wins! Hands down. I have had their crab cake too and I have to say that was also excellent ?“
“We had the Jersey Roll food truck at our wedding as an end of the night snack and it was by far the best decision! John was great to work with, and the staff who came with him were so sweet. Everyone who got a sandwich RAVED about how amazing the sandwiches were. If you have the chance to book their food truck, do it!! You won’t regret it!! :)“
