“Panera is always my go-to spot for lunch or hanging out with friends, and this was my first visit to the Shrewsbury location. I opted for my usual favorite, the Green Goddess Cobb salad, which never disappoints! While I tried their green tea for the first time, I found it okay, but it had a noticeable honey taste that I'm unsure about since I prefer adding my own honey. I also indulged in a kitchen sink cookie, although it was a bit overdone for my liking. Nonetheless, the service here was excellent, and I'm grateful for their patience when I couldn't find my credit card, which I later discovered under the car seat. The ambiance is consistently modern and visually appealing, and I particularly appreciate the layout at this location compared to the Parlin one—it feels more spacious and open. While I did notice that we had to wipe down tables before sitting, it's possible they hadn't gotten to it yet. Initially, the noise level was a bit overwhelming due to a screaming and crying baby, but once they left, it was a relief. It would be great if parents could manage their children's behavior more effectively in public spaces. Additionally, although not a complaint, my friend and I found it amusing that we heard a ringtone resembling quacking every few minutes—it wasn't too loud, but it added a touch of humor to our visit.I highly recommend trying the tomato soup and broccoli cheddar soup at Panera! Adding croutons to the tomato soup adds a satisfying crunch and enhances the flavor. Personally, I enjoy letting them soak a bit to become juicy. As for cookies, the tulip (or sandal, mitten, etc.) is always delicious and sweet. While I prefer the regular chocolate chip cookie over the kitchen sink cookie due to its potential saltiness, I do wish they made chocolate chip cookies as large as the kitchen sink ones, with larger chocolate chips.Vegetarian options: You can customize your order so that it is vegetarian.Parking: They have a free parking lot, but keep in mind you can only get out one way.“
“I can’t explain in great enough detail how much I love this spot. Everything on their menu is house-made from scratch all the way down to the dressings and — correct me if i’m wrong — the cheeses?! This is my go-to spot for a sub out of anywhere I tried on the journey to finding Josie’s; even just the bread alone blows everywhere else out of the water. I always excitedly inform people about Josie’s whenever they bring up any kind of food they’re craving because this menu is packed with wholesome, homemade classics and specialties that I know would have anyone swoon the way I do. Long story short, if you’re hungry for something that feeds your soul, too — look no further. Shout out to all chefs in this kitchen. ?“
“I’ve dinned here twice while on vacation in NJ. The food both times was absolutly delicious. The JBJ Soul seasoning is to die for. Both times I’ve ate here our server was Lisa is she is so friendly, knowledgeable and straight up phenomenal. Chef Emily cooks amazing, delicious food. Bottom line is what they do here for the local community is utterly amazing. The concept is to pay it forward so someone else who cannot afford to eat can come in and enjoy a hot meal. They recommend $25 per person, giving more if you are able is always welcome. It is truly farm to table food. They have their own farm which was donated to them. They grow their own herbs out front. They sell shirts, mugs, seasonings and yummy local honey. Every time I’m in NJ on vacation I will always make it a point to come to JBJ Soul not only for a good meal but to donate.“
“I really loved everything about Oaxaca by the Sea. The service was great and the food was delicious and plentiful. I'm salivating at the thought of finishing up part two tonight as we left with a huge doggie bag.Thank you for a great dining experience. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon with family and friends.“
“Placed a rather large order today. Appetizers, a few rolls and a few ramen dishes, All very good! Presentation was great and roll sizes are large for the price. Great taste and great value especially compared to the other sushi options near by. Impressively, the food was ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes and I was greeted by a very nice lady who took care in packing the food and made sure we had everything needed for our large order. Definitely happy I chose to try this place today. Will be back.“
“I love coming here for dinner. The food is always excellent, the service impeccable, and the decor is trendy and elegant. Portions of the main courses are very generous, perfect for sharing and eating family style. A big plus is they accommodate our dietary needs with allergies and religious restrictions. The chef even did a delicious pasta not on the menu for us! Saturday nights there's live music. Highly recommended!“
“Very cool and hip breakfast and brunch spot that really experiments with traditional favorites. The chicken and waffles provide a level of comfort that only real comfort food can provide. The brisket sandwich is flavourful, but you can end up with too much gristle. The coffee options are excellent and tasty. A hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, depending on the drink, really makes the beverage something special. Service is generally good, but some servers are more genial than others. Outdoor seating is a great option when temps climb above 60 degrees.“
“I gave Sogo Sushi 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I went out for sushi last night, and a guy spilled a whole bottle of soy sauce on himself!! Everyone laughed except me. - Don‘t "Kikkoman" when he’s down ?Keep reading for my review ?Pros:• Brown rice sushi is a game-changer - healthier option without sacrificing flavor!• Rolls are creative and tasty• Friendly serviceCons:• Yeah, the decor might be a little stuck in the past, but if you're a brown rice sushi lover like me, it's worth checking out if you're in the area!Overall, it was a nice experience at Sogo Sushi! The brown rice sushi and creative rolls were standouts, and the friendly service made for a pleasant visit.Follow me on Google for more ❤️“
“I’ve had the pleasure of partaking in dine in and take out on the same day. I was in town for work. I wish I lived closer because this place is great. The food is fresh, and well prepared. The cold brew was very good as well. Wonderful staff and great ambiance inside.“
“Mr. Pizza Man Mike is an all around amazing person with a really big and kind heart. He was extremely gentle, patience and so giving with our group of homeschooling children. He taught them to make their very own pizza from scratch ( something they will forever talk about) me being an adult just to experience first hand how he is with the children was TRULY amazing !!! The pizza and all the food is made with love. We need more people around like Mr. PIZZA MAN MIKE. Instead of taking the money for an event we hosted he donated $120.00 to our local food pantry to help feed the hungry. Thank you so much for the good food and kind heart.“
“Delicious food, always very fresh & made with love just like home made. Owner John is very friendly and courteous. Our new go to place. Thank you John. You are a great addition to our local community. I highly recommend for everyone to try this restaurant.“
“Interesting mix of regulars, college kids, and locals depending on what time you arrive. Definitely worth waiting if under 20 mins. The drinks are good and there are plenty of food choices. Check out the daily specials and happy hour prices. Bonus happy hour is all day in mondays.“
“First time here. Visiting my cousin. The service and professionalism were present along with great atmosphere.I had the Veal parmesan Chop with a delicious pasta. My cousin had the Halibut, which was another tasty dish. We also had the Calamari first for an appetizer. It's delicious with a slight kick with the sauce.Go and have a great Italian meal. You won't be disappointed.“
“Great fresh food! I had the grilled chicken Cesar salad! My granddaughter and boyfriend had the cheese steak! Everything was so fresh and was awesome! The chicken in the salad was delicious!! We also had the garlic knots!Parking: Large Parking lot on the side of the building!Kid-friendliness: Tables outside to eat. It was a nice day so we sat outside!“
“This was our first time there. The place is nice and so was the staff. Our waitress was very good. They give you hot bread when you sit down. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was good and I loved the meatballs. You get 2 good size ones. My boyfriend had the linguine with white clam sauce. He enjoyed it! We will definitely be going back there again!! Thanks!! Cathy“

“Loved my visit to the Bradley Beach location - truly the cutest spot for lunch (if you love anything and everything pink, this place is for you)! I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon, so the space wasn't too crowded. A few people had their laptops open and when I asked, the waitress shared the wifi password with me. Seemed to be work-lunch friendly, but that may not be the case during their busier hours - be sure to double-check! Their menu was extensive and every dish was so creative! I ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese Please, which was absolutely amazing. The sandwich was so flavorful and juicy and cheesy - what more can you ask for? Plus, the fries that came on the side were thin, perfectly salted, and not too greasy. The portions were big, so I was able to take some home for later too. Definitely will be coming back ASAP to eat my way through the menu!“
“When Rice Box closed I legitimately thought I would be sad forever. But then Spice Thai Bistro came along to heal my broken heart and fill my belly and soul with the best Thai food in NJ. Despite the small location, they pack big flavor into each dish. The Pad Thai and the grilled pork skewers are my personal favorites. The staff are all absolutely wonderful. Seeing Eddie is usually the highlight of my day! This might just be my favorite restaurant of all time, and a big part of that is because it's so evident that every dish is made thoughtfully with love and care every single time.“
“The Taste of New Orleans menu is spectacular! Our party of 5 had dinners of Blackened Catfish, Blackened shrimp, Flatiron Steak, all outstanding. The Spare Rib appetizers (bonless) melted in your mouth. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Thank you so much, we will be back.“
“I rarely give an eaterie 5 stars on my first visit, but this place is fantastic. Some many great options on the menu, service is great, ambiance and decor was very sheek. I will definitely patronize this gem again. Keep up the good work Over Easy Kitchen ???“
“I actually found out about this place while visiting a friend in Neptune. Since then this place is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots.Their garlic knots are outstanding and are the style I love (updated to k clude a pic). Every calzone/Stromboli I have ordered so far has also been outstanding (updated to include pics of Buffalo chicken and Sicilian "regular" sized Stromboli). Pizza overall has been pretty great but I haven't tried a lot bunch other than plain or with 1, maybe 2 toppings.I am impressed so far with how many items have been great, and the consistency of how great the food is regardless of the day of week/time of day. Give em a shot.“
“I am trans/lgbtq. The starving artist and it's staff embrace everyone who isn't intolerant. The food is excellent and you can tell it's prepared by people that enjoy making food. The servers are responsive and polite. And the atmosphere? Well it's one of my favorite places to go because it has an inner and outer Garden that is impressive and really sets the energy for the placeParking: Street parking generally won't have any problems but they do get packed. As any good place will“
“My daughter and I went here this week. I love this establishment. The service was patient, friendly and kind. The food was fresh and good. I love the tropical feel and it always seems clean. The one down side is they do not offer a military discount. Frutta bowl does. Just sayin.“
“He’s been on TV! This amazing entrepreneur has created some seriously crazy pies, and other dishes that have become some jersey staples! His triple threat has become my favorite cheat day meal ! Consisting of a pepperoni pizza, calzone , complete with a garlic butter knot crust oh my God when I tell you, I was in heaven. His fried chicken, and his Thunderstick are also some fan favorites! You can visit his location Roselle, but the one at the Jersey shore is a vibe, if you haven’t been yet, this is your sign!“
“Two words: MUST TRY. This quickly became one of my favorite spots to go to for a delicious breakfast/brunch. The aesthetic is so nostalgic, the service and staff are absolutely incredible, and to close everything out and wrap it up with a beautiful bow, the food here is so consistently amazing!“
“Shrimp in mole sauce is delicious. Just spicy enough to make it interesting. A medley of spices blended together in a thick, dark sauce. I find it addictive. Chili rellenos stuffed with cheese then battered and fried. The batter is light and completely non-greasy. I get them covered in a tangy, fresh verde sauce that I have been ordering for years. The entrees come with rice and beans. Sometimes it is juicy black beans and sometimes creamy refried pinto beans. The service is always, prompt, polite and friendly. We mainly get take out these days because hubby picks it up on his way home from work. The orders are always complete and ready when expected.“
“This place is SO good!! We live 30 minutes away and these salads still get to us fresh using DoorDash. They give you a great amount of food, usually enough for 2 meals, and it’s always fresh and super good. Tons of options, I very highly recommend Salad House!!“
“I personally love to cook and am a connoisseur of good food. I am not a fan of fast food. If you're a fan of great salads and good home cooked food from a world renowned chef, I highly recommend the Blonde Shallot. There is a selection of great food that will satisfy every single member of the family. I'm very excited for the new location opening at the previous Joe Leone's on Washington Ave in Seagirt!“
“Before you enter the shop, the aroma grabs you. It brings back childhood memories of my neighborhood in NYC. This is what pizza should smell and taste like. I come here every time I am on my way to the shore. This is one hard-working family. The same people every day for ... how many years??? Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Went here yesterday for lunch and had the pleasure to be greeted and helped by Jasmin. The food was pretty good and the vibe inside looked sleek and clean but the service I received from Jasmin was like no other. She was very knowledgeable and carried a gentle tone with me the whole time no matter how many questions I threw her. Such a great experience and the service alone is making me want to come everyday now.“
