“First of all, going to Hibachi and its BYOB, that's a win right there! Second, everything we ate was very very good. We had all kinds of sushi, some appetizers like gyozo, edamame, etc. And the hibachi was so good. We got Shrimp, Chicken and Steak. Their fried rice was extra good! This place is great.“

“Trendy, chic spot for excellent Japanese cuisine, dim sum and sushi. I absolutely love Taka. It's a must visit spot in Asbury Park. Everything was delicious. The sushi was so fresh. My favorite thing was probably the steamed dumplings but honestly the whole meal was just divine.“

“Placed a rather large order today. Appetizers, a few rolls and a few ramen dishes, All very good! Presentation was great and roll sizes are large for the price. Great taste and great value especially compared to the other sushi options near by. Impressively, the food was ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes and I was greeted by a very nice lady who took care in packing the food and made sure we had everything needed for our large order. Definitely happy I chose to try this place today. Will be back.“

“Miso Soup was a delightful complement to the Spicy Mango Roll The young lady who placed my order was very kind & gave me a spicy mayo dipping sauce, that I promptly & excitedly mixed the soul-cleansing Wasabi paste into. The ginger was fresh & crunchy!(If you're not a big fan of raw fish, the Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll I enjoyed is a cooked alternative. They have other cooked rolls. “This is my local neighborhood spot, they are in strict competition with another place right down the street, although both have been hit and miss here and there I have to say I was very very grateful tonight that I got there at 9 PM 30 minutes before closing and not only was the service quick and good but the food was 10 stars! I got a simple, avocado salad, spicy, crunchy, yellowtail roll with rice outside, and a shrimp tempura ?roll and oh my goodness amazing!“

“update... Had the deep fried whole bass tonight and it was fantastic. Highly recommend with the Thai basil sauce. At the spur of the moment we decided to take out, and were happy we did. The red curry shrimp (Thai) was excellent and very generous, the Chicken with Basil was also very good. Recommended...we will return (next time to sit down).“

“We had a table of 9 tonight and the service and food were both spot on. Our server Javier was excellent and received plenty of help from the crew. “My friend and I went here for an early dinner with my nine year old daughter and my friends two year old toddler. We love Asian , especially sushi, so we're always excited to try a new spot. We had never been here before and we were the only people there at 6 pm on a Friday. Take out ?? I dunno. The food was great !! My friend had the link salad and roll, some dumplings and a special roll. I had the avocado salad which was huge and two special rolls !! All was fantastic and service was friendly and speedy !“
