“I'm not sure why there are less than stellar reviews here. We have eaten in the dining room three times with different numbers in our party (3-8) and have had wonderful experiences each time. The food was delicious and the servers were attentive, knowledgeable, although busy. We have also sat at the bar two other times to watch the game and eat. Again, we were met with great service and impressive food. All this plus a great new happy hour that includes many choices from the menu. The crowd does seem a little like Biff and Buffy from the club, so maybe that is why the reviews sound the way they do?“
“Enjoyed our time there right on the water at crabby jacks, watch the boats go by and the wave runners. Atmosphere was nice had a little band outside. Got to meet up with my 83 year old Uncle/GODFATHER who is still sharp as a tack. had a couple drinks and crabcake sandwiches and other food,with my brother and my girlfriend. really enjoyed the place always a good place to meet up with my uncle.“
“The new menu with Authentic Mexican Food was a nice surprise! The service was excellent very friendly and outgoing. Still a great local bar ambiance just a different menu. Not typical bar food but still excellent! Tacos and burritos were all very good.“
“The International Cuisine was a refreshing addition to the South Jersey Shore. I was particularly impressed with the multi-lingual bar-keep. She gave great advice on the full breadth of the menu (I think her name was Mar Knee? Top notch!). Anywho she made a culinary tour that much more enjoyable.“

“Checked out Sunrise after work and had a fantastic experience. They had a wide range of flavors on their drink menu. The manager, Jasmine, helped guide us through some specialty drinks. The bartender did a great job balancing the drink. While there I learned they host special events like a sushi night and live music. Will definitely be coming back.“
“Food was delicious. Appetizer: Thai triple delight , fried jumbo shrimp and crab cakes were large portions and all excellent. Server: Kimberly was a pleasure to have taking care of us. Famous Pizza bread was huge and tasty. Had alot to take home. We had an overall pleasant indoor dining experience. Sat in comfy side room in large booth ,,much less noisy away from the bar crowd loud talkers.On a negative note …Suggestion: just outdoor upon leaving back entrance of restaurant we encountered 6 smokers puffing away as we were blocked from walking around them and had to inhale an unwanted cloud of secondhand smoke. Not something we appreciated after a fine dinner.Didn’t see any signage of outdoor designated smoking area that would have helped in this area of concern.“
“When I come to visit the area, the Crab Trap is a must. This is my favorite restaurant (my family's, as well - who is from ocean City). The food is amazing from prime rib to of course, the Crab. So delicious. I love the shore yet rustic atmosphere , and the service is spot on. Very courteous and attentive staff. A must place to go when in the area. (We drove over an hour just to go there for dinner & very much worth it!)“
