“I have some of the best pizza in Somerset however I think they are changing to a cheaper Bridge it seems like everyone is getting this Easy Bake Oven flour to make horrible bread the cheese and the sausage fantastic but please please go back to the better bread it might cost a little more and maybe you can charge a little more but this bread that you have now is not going to work this is not going to keep you in the top class right now you're fading with that bread but we like the sauce and the cheese so much we will order again can we bring you our own dough cuz that bread has got to“

“Food is excellent, and it is consistently excellent, over many years. From the breads to the fico appetizer to the pasta and chicken mains (haven't had meats or seafood), I've always been satisfied. The staff is very good. Do wear or bring something warm because the room can feel cool. Do make reservations earlier than the day of, at least on the weekends.“

My eggplant was not done well and my lack of finishing it should have raised concern with the waitress. Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere and the wine list was extensive.“

The bruschetta was perfect, the beef was done to perfection and the gnocchi with shrimp was excellent. Service was attentive but not rushed and the room was quiet and well-appointed. “A new restaurant in our bedroom community of Hillsborough, NJ, Mama Fanti is a place you don't want to miss. We went around 6:00 on a Friday night and were seated even though we didn't have a reservation. We found the food VERY flavorful! I really liked the sauces which must have some "secret" ingredients because they tasted better than what I have grown used to. We had a stuffed zucchini appetizer, three mains, a salad and a dessert for around $150.The salad was plenty for sharing. The eggplant Parmesan was interesting. I'm used to very thinly sliced eggplant with lots of breading, but Mama Fanti's was thickly sliced, nicely breaded with a delicious sauce. The veal cutlet topped with arugula was great, but the chicken dish (see below) was out of this world. I'll get that next time I go. We finished with an incredibly light tiramisu (one serving for all three of us).“

We hired Clemente to cater my birthday based upon a great friend's recommendation... and my man did not disappoint!!!!! Catering - ask for the Pasta Genovese - your mind will be blown. His meatballs and gravy are outta hand. My friend's still talk about his food months later. Not only is Clemente great chef but he is a great person! On a recommendation I contacted Pasquales Brick Oven on Ryders in Milltown and for MUCH less they gave us their side room for 30 people and it was FANTASTIC!
