“Great experience, great service! Anais was our server. She’s super friendly and guided us through the menu as some of us were first timers.Huge selection of meats, seafood and vegetarian options to choose from. Highly recommend with a group of friends or a fun family outingKid-friendliness: My daughters loved it!“
“Highly recommend! Food is delicious and portions are shareable depending on hunger level! Everything was nice and crispy! Ordered french fries, onion rings, and small orders of sweet and spicy wings (10), crispy chicken drumsticks (5) and hot and spicy boneless chicken (about 12 pieces or so). Will definitely be coming back!“
“Food is by far the best I’ve had in the area, you get complex flavors, fresh foods, amazing clash of textures, good portions all for a quite cheap price compared to all the big restaurant chains that charge more for worse, Food arrives quick and hot and service is great. No complain. Still skeptical? Just come here and buy something for yourself, a small expense for a meal worthy of critical acclaim.“
“I am so glad I finally tried this place. I wouldn’t have even known it was there if it wasn’t for the fact that it was next to Krauszer’s and that’s how I spotted it. It was clean, great service and the chicken is absolutely amazing. The wings are large, perfectly crispy, and the flavor is great! They do have some minimal counter height seating by the windows, but it’s generally takeout and I’m totally fine with that. Will definitely be ordering again!“
“Went on a Thursday night — yummy, not oily, plenty of vegetables. Not too salty too. The service was awesome and it’s BYOB. Easy, casual, and homey. Ordered the Kalbi, scallion pancake, samyang, and kimbop. Everything was flavorful and servings were big.“
“Pricey but meat quality I feel is a little bit better. Staff will grill the meat so you don't have to worry if the meat is cooked appropriately. Lively atmosphere, vents work well, drinks are extra charge and not included in the ayce price. They do charge fees if you are using a credit card to pay, so pay cash and save some $$.Parking: Lots of available parking front, side and back of the building“
“This is my second time coming in and KBG never disappoints. Clean environment, very calm atmosphere and customer service is one of kind. The young lady who attends is very kind and informative and gives great recommendations. My first time my son picked the cheese only Korean corndog , he loved it! (Not greasy at all) for this time I went with the spicy chicken K-bop bowl and it was beautifully presented and delicious, definitely will be coming back!“
“Incredible food every time. His cooking is legitimately Michelin star quality with amazing flavors and beautiful presentations. My family and I are obsessed. He cooks a wide variety of cuisines and is creative about accommodating any dietary restriction. He has a real passion for food that comes through in every dish. Always delicious and great service. Not to mention his line of hot sauces! Try the yuzu truffle, you can’t get anything like it!“
“I ordered the spicy beef stew. I am amazed at the complexity of the spice where, yes, it's spicy but tantalizing where I want to keep coming back for more bites. This is my first time here, and all I can say is wow! They provided me with white rice, a hefty amount of scallions, pulled beef, broth, egg pieces, and various ingredients. There is also this solid cold food in a lil cup that tastes like kimchi and it was refreshing respite to the spice afterwards. Would recommend 10/10?“
“It’s better to do take outs if you don’t want to smell like a walking grease. The open kitchen is nice, but they can do better with the ventilation…Food is good, I had hot honey butter sandwich and three pieces of the soy garlic chicken. Sandwich is very good, I really like the dressing. The soy garlic gets too sweet after the second piece, I think sauce on the side would be better.“
“The food is good and the price is fair. Got the combo, spicy pork belly ramen with fried dumplings. The ramen is flavorful, although they grilled the meat so it did have a burnt taste. Otherwise the soup is flavorful and good amount of spicy. The noodle is cooked and not too soggy and good amount of vegetables as well.“
“Love having a Korean spot in Berkeley Heights. It is a good place if you have a craving for Korean during the week. Mrs Park is super friendly and treats my daughter like her own. I like the kimchi stew and tofu stews. The chicken wings are also stellar.“
“Came here COMPLETELY at random. We decided to leave for dinner with absolutely no destination in mind, only an area where we would look. Found somewhere to try, but when we parked we saw this place tucked in the corner. Walked in and loved the decor & the vibe. Medium sized venue, that has that hidden gem feel. Dim mood lighting, smooth music, & friendly staff. They also have Karaoke rooms in the back. I went back there & took a look since they weren't in use. We ordered the Half & Half Wings (1/2 Soy Garlic, 1/2 Spicy Soy Garlic), Snowcorn Roll, & Bulgogi Sliders. Everything was excellent. Glad we didn't waste our random outing. Such a great choice & a new go-to spot. Grades: Wings: A+ Snowcorn Roll: A+ Bulgogi Sliders: A“
“The atmosphere is great here. The DJ had a set going when we got there. Our service was attentive and very welcoming. Our server Rye, was so kind and genuine, and we were lucky to have such a helpful person serving us that night. The pork bao buns were outstanding and so were the pickle fries. The drinks were also excellent. It was one of our birthdays and we were happy to celebrate here. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly and will be back again. Highly Recommended??“
“I've been looking for a Korean restaurant in Central NJ that cooks up a good tasting jjajangmyun and tangsooyuk. My go to Korean-Chinese restaurant in Edison closed down this year and Fort Lee is an hour away from me. This little stand in the Hmart Food Court makes really good jjajangmyun sauce and the tangsooyuk is the perfect meat-fry ratio! I wish they did half half options like they do in Korea so I can have jjajangmyun and jjambong! I also wish they gave a little bit of kimchi on the side instead of just a sad bit of yellow radish lol!“
“Like their sushi(especially specialty ones). Usually, do takeout. My last takeout was delayed for 40 min(first time ever) due to absolute "customer jam". Usually, they are half empty when I order, this time, they were packed, and there was a line waiting too.So despite huge delay - still 5 stars.. They provided me a small table after it became available, brought some tea while I waited, and even added some extras while being absolutely apologetic for the whole issue. Have no hard feeling whatsoever - guys really try their very best.“
“This place is the best Korean BBQ in central NJ. The banchan is excellent with different types of kimchi and veggies. The BBQ is the star of the show. Our favorite is the kalbi but we haven’t strayed outside of beef. Their other dishes are solid as well. My daughter loves the rice cake and dumpling soup. The tofu stews hit the spot in the winter time. Just keep in mind that it gets smoky inside so don’t be surprised when you go home smelling like BBQ.“
