“Kicking myself for not ordering SYKO sooner. Got delivery, and it did not disappoint. Best muhamara I’ve had in Brooklyn. Sujok sandwich was divine. Bulgogi egg + cheese was super solid and made for great breakfast leftovers. Everything was seasoned so perfectly.“
“Dinner was incredible! The service was extremely attentive, food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. I really enjoyed the set menu, it was the right amount of food and even better bc we didn’t have to think about what to order. The meats were all so tender and the banchan was top tier. Definitely recommend.“
“I have been wanting to eat here for 6 months and finally made it. So on Saturday, at 7pm I called to check availability. We walked in, it's a small place with about 10 tables. They put a reserved sign on the last table. Everything we ordered was really good. We had dumplings, fried chicken wings, rock shrimp (delish), and pork katsu. Cannot wait to come back and try other dishes.“
“Came here with a friend around 5:30PM on a Saturday and it was pretty packed. We ordered the Maesil Collins and Strawberry Fields cocktails--both were sweet and delicious. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage, Halmoni Mandu, Wild Mushroom Pajeon, Salmon Jang, Sesame Ice Cream, and Persimmon Ice Cream special. The highlight was definitely the ice cream! The chicken and mandu were really good but the ice cream!! I'm personally not a big fan of sesame but the gochujang caramel swirl intrigued me and the server recommended it so we decided to try it & it tasted absolutely amazing!!! The gochujang caramel was sweet with a tiny kick and it went so well with the sesame. Life changing!! The persimmon ice cream was also amazing with the crumble and persimmon bits, it was light and refreshing!! 10/10 would recommend ordering the chicken, mandu, and definitely the ice cream! I'll be coming back again!“
“I ordered takeout. I tried tteokbokki for the first time and it was so so good!I can’t handle spice food but the rich sauce isn’t spicy. The radishes were so delicious. The fish cake and rice cake have a neutral flavor to me but the dumplings are really tasty. The serving size is really on point. You actually feel like you get what you pay for, not less. Can’t wait to try other dishes.“
“Such a good family-run spot. I don't go here as often as I'd like, because it's just a smidge too far to be a pleasant walk away. But i love this cozy spot and am never disappointed. My favorite is the LA galbi--sweet and salty in the best possible way. Their jeon is also amazing-- always with crispy edges and not floppy and soggy. Service is friendly and quick!“
“I'm Korean, grew up eating Korean food. Everything we ordered was solid and felt very homemade. Definitely on-par with anything you would get in K-town Manhattan. Prices are very reasonable for portions and the restaurant vibes are warm and cozy. I think they opened relatively recently and we were able to chat with the chef for a bit after our meal. He was friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving Korean“
“dang!!!!! i’m not the one to crave a burger or even american food in general but nowon just hits different. kimchi lovers PULL UP!!not pictured, but i love the chop cheese tteokbokki. get that too.atmosphere is fun and hip. the bushwick location is much better for dinner with multiple people. the menu pricing is up there, so bring friends to share apps with & be prepared for a pricy burger. it’s worth it though“
“Super friendly family-run takeaway spotThis whole place is run by a very sweet Korean couple. They make the chicken in-house, but order the sides premade. I got a solo gang jeong solo chicken box and a side of fries (which only come in a sharing size). I shied away from the box because I'm not excited about kimchi.Next time, I'll order the box. The salad and the rice would be nice variety for the chicken. The fries were a little soggy for my taste.“
“Love love love coming to KPOT for BBQ!You get a great deal for your buck!So far I’ve visited KPOT 4 times for dinner on a Friday (4pm) with a party of 2-4ppl.Waiting time usually doesn’t take long.I as a pescatarian crave the spicy salmon from time to time and also enjoy their other seafood options! My hubby loves the pork belly and beef/steak options a lot!2hrs max seating, so use your time accordingly to get the most out of it!Also keep in mind you’ll leave with quite a smell afterwards and will have to wash/air out your clothes/jacket.“
“Came here twice, I tried the potato corndogs and gochujang poppers. Corn dogs where nicely fried, crispiness was amazing. Poppers were good and not dry which is hard to find these days. The sauce didn’t make the poppers soggy.Staff is always friendly. Store is always clean, food is really good. I recommend eating in store since the crispiness of the product might change if take out.“
“I recently ordered food at BTS Korean Food Market in Bedstuy, and it was so good. The seasoned squid was a stand out and there were tons of banchan (assorted side dishes) options. However, what truly transported me back to my time in Seoul was the superb tuna kimbap. Each bite was a taste of Seoul with a blend of fresh ingredients wrapped in seaweed. The taste and quality reminded me of the street food stalls in Gwangjang Market. It's a hidden gem in Bedstuy for those craving authentic Korean flavors. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!“
“Visited Bed Sty just to see where my parents grew up. Neighborhood has gotten much safer and much nicer than in my day. This great coffee shop on the corner, just up the block from where my grandfather’s butcher shop used to be was a fantastic rest stop on this visit. The coffee was amazing, the staff was courteous and welcoming. All around great experience.“
“I'm getting bb.q chicken takeout for the xyzth time! This time, I requested galbi and soy garlic sauces on the side. After air frying it for about 8 minutes, it came out perfectly golden. I tried a piece without sauce, which wasn't bad, but dipping the rest into the sauce made it taste amazing and less messy. Highly recommend trying it this way!“
“Justin our server was amazing very respectful and easy to get a hold of k-pot in coney island is a very cool atmosphereParking: If you look good enough you can find parking rember it's coney island so in the summer months parking can be some what difficult“
“Abstract: Great portions, delicious fresh Korean style fried chicken ?.Friendly staff, clear and simple menu, Fantastic crunchy and delicious fried chicken. A great hunger quencher with very generous portions. Good amount of room inside for dining with friends. love whoever drew the chicken picture ?Item reviewed: Small Boneless soy garlic chicken“
“Best Kimchi I've ever had. They have so much to choose from other than kimchi as well. Everything I've ever tried there has made me want to go back and get more. Love this place and love that they have a jar deposit as well so they are helping reduce waste.Overall excellent staff, great food, and well run business. What more could you ask for?“
“Kuun is a Korean restaurant situatedacross the river of KTown in downtown Brooklyn. The restaurantis bright with high ceilings and lots of friendly staffs. They have different crafted cocktails, soju, wine, drinks, and staples of Korean cuisine available. Food is served fresh and hot in a timely fashion. Deliciousness can be tasted and Kuun makes it a perfect place for a quick and relaxed meal. Without crossing the bridge to the city, you can enjoy the KTown vibe right in Brooklyn!Pina Colada 16Plum Berry Mojito 17Spicy Korean Rice Cake 16Korean-Style Chicken Wings 12Uh-Mook-Tang 29LA Kalbi BBQ 32“
“By far the best Bloody Mary in the world. They make it with Soju and yummy garnishes. It is to die for. Food is amazing and I am addicted to their Bibimbap in hot stone bowl (tofu or spicy seafood). Kimchi omelette for breakfast is also very good. Highly recommend, I am there almost every Sunday (our best server and bartender is there) Love.“
“This spot is so good, the best in the neighborhood. I am a regular and always come back to the spicy pork bowls. The owner, Sunyoo is super friendly and puts her love into all of my meals. There is a variety of food at Tiger Box ranging from dumplings to fried chicken. Everything here is good.“
“Mad for Chicken is a fried chicken lover's dream come true! The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. With a variety of delicious sauces to choose from, every bite is a delight. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Overall, a five-star experience that never disappoints!“
““if i love you, what business is it of yours?”i do not particularly enjoy the vibe of the interior, and i had to wait longer than expected for a donut, but my feelings about either of these things immediately were forgotten after the first bite. the dulce de leche donut topped with cinnamon sugar transported me back to eating burger king french toast sticks in the car on 00’s road trips. there’s a certain crunch and a flavor i can’t describe which only has been captured for me by (now) those two items.“
“BOM noodle was delicious, a little bit oily and small portion size but loved the flavor profile. Noodles had really good texture as well, highly recommend with pork.Fried chicken was kind of like crunchy KFC style, sauce came on the side and the spicy one was a lot better than the other. Fries were thin and well cooked.Great experience would definitely come again.“
“Great food, great service! I especially love the kuksi and Pigodi. This place is such a a gem. The owner is also very kind and came to greet and chat with us. Korean-Uzbek cuisine is so rare, and I am so glad that I found this place in Brooklyn!“
“I've ordered here a few times! The Soondobu Jigae is unworldly. The purple rice is spot on. And for someone that doesn't especially love denjang jigae generally, this was really good. One fault of this place are portions are sort of small, but other than that, this is an excellent Korean spot!“
“This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, the most brilliant thing I've ever tasted in my whole life. The best dishes I've ever laid my eyes upon. As soon as I took a single bite of the fresh, hot cuisine, my taste buds felt like they were in heaven. The service was very pleasant as well. The staff were the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life. They made sure that the food I ordered was served very quickly. The atmosphere is homey, simple, yet the most beautiful and satisfying thing I've ever felt. I love this place.“
“A blessing to us gluten free pals. This location is INSIDE WHOLE FOODS - I looked around for a good 5 minutes before I figured it out. It's not the most authentic feeling since it's in a Whole Foods but that tends to happen when catering to specific allergies (grateful for that though). Bottom Line -- the meal made me happy!!! And the sauces and kimchi were great for spicing up the simple onigiri I bought.“
“I was with a co-worker looking for a place to eat lunch and I simply searched on Yelp for somewhere interesting to go. I love Korean BBQ and I love soul food, so when I saw Memphis "Seoul", I knew we had to try it, and it did not disappoint! We were going to order the meatloaf sliders but once we saw the Tiger Tots with pulled pork smothered with their "fat Elvis" BBQ sauce, we knew we had to order it. If you try Memphis Seoul once, you're going to want to try it again, and again!“
“Insa is the best place for Korean bbq and karaoke in the area! We were recommended by a local website featuring best places in nyc to celebrate 30+ year old birthdates and we were not disappointed :) :) At first glance the place seems very rustic and a little underrated, but all things considered the approach of the host and servers was authentic and fresh! 5/5 star rating!!“
“The Bulgogi Bowl I ordered arrived with a blend of white rice, carrots, spinach, and mushrooms that were remarkably satisfying. However, the beef itself lacked the expected punch of flavor; it felt like it needed a glaze or a sauce to enhance its taste profile. Despite this, the bowl was still enjoyable. As for the choco pie, it was reminiscent of moon cakes, offering a nostalgic and delightful taste. The taro mochis stole the spotlight with their rich, flavorful essence that resonated with tea and sweet rice, securing the top spot among my choices from this place.Surprisingly, the fries at this establishment were a standout—crispy yet somewhat fluffy, making them a dish I'd readily reorder. On the flip side, the Galbi burger seemed overcooked, lacking the desired medium-rare essence. Although passable, it didn't leave a memorable impression, making it unlikely for me to order again. The kimchi pajeon, on the other hand, exuded a wonderful burst of flavor. Although enjoyable, I'd likely opt for scallion pancakes over this particular variation next time. The Bulbap Spicy Chicken Mandoo left me with mixed feelings; its overly moist texture and egg roll-like taste didn't quite match my expectations. I'd lean towards a crispy egg roll as a preferable alternative. Lastly, the spam fried rice with kimchi and egg was a delightful surprise, exploding with flavor and generously portioned. Overall, despite some hits and misses, the place is worth revisiting due to the overall quality and quantity of the food offered.“
“MAD FOR CHICKEN has some bangin' garlic soy chicken wings. They come in mild or spicy. I like the spicy. They're air fried or baked I believe, so when you bite into them the skin is crispy, but not crunchy. The spicy is just the right amount of heat. These wings go good with pizza. MAD FOR CHICKEN is MAD NICE with the wings.“
“Really awesome Korean Fried chicken. They have so many different selections of kfc and always walk out with a satisfying meal. The fried chicken sandwich was also really tasty. The interior is so cute and cozy. The staff were super nice as well. Will be def coming back!“
“I honestly do not know why this establishment is not rated a 10 Stars across the board! The food is absolutely delicious ?. We have tried everything on the menu, and it is all amazing! The service is phenomenal. It feels like coming home to family. Thank you guys for everything ❤️ I will always be a regular here!Kid-friendliness: I always see children here!!!Wheelchair accessibility: It looks fairly easy to get into with a wheelchair ♿️“
“Let's start with the bad... don't worry, there's only 1 and I'm still giving you 5 stars. Dolsot bibambop was meh, a bit watery for a rice dish and no crunchy bottom. The awesome... all the rest! We enjoyed your proper Korean BBQ. The kalbi was FAB. I ate my heart out wrapping it in the beautiful lettuce and jigae. Spicy fried chicken, I woke up the next morning thinking about it! Seafood pancake, well fried and filled with seafood and green onions... adored! Perfect white rice, it was so hard to only have one bite of it... wanted to save room for the rest. Great service and great tunes. We found ourselves bopping/dancing in our chairs while eatting. Thank you for a wonderful Korean meal . I'm a fan!“
“Bulgogi Chicken bowl was good but it was still pretty spicy even though we requested mild. If you can’t handle heat ask for the sweet bowl. Nice atmosphere (except for the graffiti bathroom not appropriate for children). Good service and food came quickly.“
“Amazing Korean style fried wings. We get take out here and it’s super delicious. Soy garlic hits the spot. Is very indulgent so we eat with steamed rice and steamed broccoli to balance. Found out they have a great outdoor space as well! Maybe will dine in next time! This place is great ??!!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids love it“
“We stumbled upon this Korean BBQ gem and we're so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. Our server was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the entire experience with patience and expertise. The food was simply amazing. The chicken wings were some of the best we've ever had crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The Bulgogi beef was incredibly tender. And let's not forget about the assortment of sauces and sides, which complemented the meal perfectly. The best part Getting to grill all the food ourselves right at our table, adding an interactive and fun element to the dining experience.“
“Slow Loris is such an excellent spot to have in the neighborhood. The Korean food is delicious - we especially love the seafood pancake, Sundubu jjigae, and the Bibimbop - and the sushi is so good. The fish is so good and you just can’t go wrong.“
“I highly recommend the Bonchon in Brooklyn, NYC. The ambiance is awesome but the Manager, Mr. Nng is extremely hospitable and most commendable service dine-in provider. The food and the service is very outstanding and I never experience the same before. Thank you Mr. Nng.“
“The person taking orders was incredibly helpful & the food came out quickly and tasted great! The bbq nachos were crispy & the spicy Korean chicken sandwich was perfectly saucy. It was very small inside, but I think that expected on that street.“
“I eat here once every two weeks. The best Korean food I’ve had in my life. The service is amazing, the food is top tier and so is the price point. I could eat this food forever. My fav dishes are the Jeeyok bokum, seafood soup, the soy garlic wings and the jabchae with beef!“
“Went with a friend before shuffleboard at Royal palms. Amazing cocktails to start, friendly bartender service at the bar. We went with a wings starter which were crispy and delicious. Buddy had beef bulgogi, I had the spicy pork. Both were delicious. Spicy pork ended up being messy with the lettuce wraps but that could be a me problem. We ended with the beignets. Incredible, felt like I was back in New Orleans.Recommend.“
