“I happen to stumble upon this great little Mexican restaurant in Springfield Nj. Doesn’t look like much on the outside but inside the food and service were great! I had a Taco salad and the Chili w Cheese and chips. Both good size portions and the food quality was great. Prices were very good too, less than eating at a rest stop on the Parkway or Nj Turnpike. If you’re in the area and looking for something quick, tasty and priced right I recommend stopping at Picante.“

“I came to Scotty’s one night on a whim for a quick drink before going out with friends. We had only intended on staying there for a drink or two but ended up spending a few hours there. Everyone night they host an open mic, which is free for anyone to watch. If you wanted to perform your only requirement is that you buy two drinks. All of their drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff are very personable and nice. I would definitely come back. I would love to come back for an open mic.“

“Went for my birthday on a Tuesday night. Surprisingly packed for a weekday but I did make a reservation.The enclosed patio is the best. Great place for pictures since there’s lots of lights and greenery. The ambiance was nice and the food was amazing. The cocktails from my knowledge were also a hit- mango mojito was our favorite. The blood moon cocktail was alright. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often. Even brought out a complimentary macaroon for my birthday. A lovely restaurant! Will definitely be returning.“

“Bartender was great and very personable and was a great beginning . Bucatini pasta and oysters were delicious. Scallops were ok and as a chef the veal chop parmesan crusted was definitely a pork chop . I love pork but don't try to fool people, that is not ethical . As i said i'm an italian chef and the bone on the rack was definitely pork !! Not Cool , not sure what else to say but didn't expect this from La Grigila“

I had the double fried wings and sloppy joe bao bun for a starter and each dish was better than the last. the wings were super crispy yet tender inside and the sloppy joe bao buns were a trip down memory lane. the sloppy brought me back to my childhood eating at a friend's house. for my ramen I had the tonkatu. their pork broth was hearty and tasteful and reminded me of my first bowl of real ramen. I highly recommend going there and finding out on your own...“

The baked ziti was really delicious, reminding me of my grandmom’s Italian cooking and much better than standard catering fare. The salad was very fresh with strawberries and a yummy tangy dressing, and the cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, when they needed to substitute the toffee topping on the cheesecake I ordered, they went above and beyond to find a suitable sub for us, offering lots of yummy alternatives (we went with pecan and salted caramel - YUM!). We both ordered the spicy ramen but I was able to substitute tofu as my protein but a little annoyed I was charged extra for it. The ratio of noodles, veggies, and broth were great. The broth was less spicy than I expected but we got chili oil on the side that solved that issue.“

Went there with the family; I had ordered the Truffle Fries for the table, House-Made Sheep's Milk Ricotta Gnocchi for myself for an appetizer (it was a special they were offering), then for the entre I had the filet mignon. The ricotta with the gnocchi was so amazing that this dish should be an entre and not an appetizer. The filet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Highly recommend dining here!!
