“We stopped in for a late-night meal after a concert (shame that there are no traditional Diners open late anymore). It was probably around 11:30pm when our party of 7 arrived, and getting seated seemed like an ordeal. The restaurant was largely empty, but getting someone to seat you was awkward as the original person who walked us into the dining room mumbled something and walked off into the back room. A bit later a different person came out and seated. Thus the tone was set for the night: the second person was attentive and the other was nonchalant. Thankfully our food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. So we ended on a happy note.“
“Christmas Eve, 2023- 1:30pmThe Server: Shevette , was not well trained. Not her fault. Do not blame Shervette , the server. "A fish rots from the head first ". We were 30 minutes into our dining experience when we had to remind her, Shevette that it was her responsibility to tell us her name . I am a whole believer that a good server returns to the table to inquire as to the the status of the ongoing experience.The reason for this step is to ensure that, say for example, you ordered an item that requires steak sauce, mustard, ketchup Worcestershire? If it was not delivered with the meal, then there is still ample time, reasonable time within the meal temperature frame of the meal to acquire missing condiments. Or, more simply ; to request glasses of water, or napkins, more butter for the bread, and I'm just using these as examples. Beverages that were delivered to the table, were delivered without out coasters; making for watery mess on the table. I returned the shot of Jack Daniel's, because the glass was dirty. It was returned in another glass that what's dirty with much less Jack the original glass. There were 3 ppl dining , how do you justify 1-6inch loaf of bread ?, with approximately 1-Tblspn of butter for all seated? Sad! Please review this policy. We should not have to request more bread/butter, less than 7 minutes into the meal.Your service was awful. I am so disappointed and the $85 bill & $17 tip both were not earned or warranted., only aggravated this experience.Spanish: Nunca otra vez!English: NEVER AGAIN!When you get things better let me know, I like to come back and give it another try.
