“Food is okay, kinda bland compared to other places I’ve tried. I had the chicken platter, and falafel. The red sauce taste like Tabasco, that was a disappointment.I’m used to this style of food to have big bold flavors, this fell to hit that.Service was great and so was the baklava.“
“My barber is next door to this place so I asked if it was any good he said yeah check it out .so the Place was pretty good if you like that type of food Mideast style which I do and the people were extremely nice which I liked.. I will be going there again“
“Best of luck with the grand opening of your 2nd jersey shore location of your Mediterranean restaurant! I ordered the lamb platter to go and the lamb was so tender and tasty. The sauce was delightful and I want to put it on everything! The salad was refreshing and the rice was perfect and flavorful. I'll have to come back with my family because I did not share my meal with them! It was so good! Thank you and welcome to Toms River!“
“Had the pleasure of having brunch here for Easter. Great set up. Lots of great dishes with Prime Rib and ham ( both cooked perfectly ) on the carving station. Salmon and mussels were fantastic. Pastas were great. Server ( Masha )was so sweet and efficient. Can’t wait until next year!“
“The food is amazing - we will be repeat customers. So excited to see mediterranean cuisine at the beach. We visited at the evening during the week, winter time and there was noone else for dine in so we had the whole place to ourselves. They seem to do more take out in the off season. Our service was great and the food was so delicious.Parking: Easy to find parking in the off season, may not be so easy during the summer but it’s a walkable distance for any point in Seaside.“
“Eat A Pita is a Lakewood Classic. New places have come and gone but this place is still the BEST place to get a great meal for a reasonable price in Lakewood! Great juicy shawarma, great crispy tenders that are too good! Also a great selection of middle eastern mazza (kibbhe, lahme ajin, empanadas,Moroccan cigars which are difficult to find in Lakewood). Also be sure to ask for Nissim the manager he is super and gives five star service! ..Be sure not to forget this Lakewood classic.“
“REAL Israeli Shawarma!I think they have the best Amba I've tasted in the US.They offer a variety of dishes, mostly authentic Israeli / middle eastern food, but also some local options.I went there specifically to try their Shawarma and unfortunately, I was not disappointed. Why unfortunately? Because they are an hour and a half away from me.I'm definitely stopping by whenever I'm in the area, even if I'm not hungry, just to take it home and eat whenever.Absolutely recommended! The place is clean and can get packed but now when the weather is perfect to sit outside there's really no excuse.“
“The lamb is still delicious and the portion for the platter is the same as before the remodel. They also have lamb daily now which is a plus. The look has improved but the sides are not as good, for example the eggplant is cut in small squares with almost no meat on the skin. The portions of veggies are also much smaller. The price of the lamb platter has also increased another above last years increase 26.60 total. They still offer free cholent on Thursdays with orders over $20.“
“First time there. 2 things to know...it's a BYOB and Make Reservations!!! Now, the service was excellent, friendly and can spout off the specials without missing a beat. Explained everything and able to answer any menu questions. As for the food...it was out of this world. I had the Chicken Provencal (?) It was a special. And it was very special, tender and flavorful. We also ordered the tripe appetizer, bean & escarole soup, rack of lamb, special eggplant dish, and chicken parm. Everything done to perfection. So good. Dessert was Lemoncello cake and a Bomba (mango and passion fruit gellato in a hard white chocolate shell). Well, I died and went to heaven. I could not have asked for a better meal. And the coffee, brewed to perfection. I will tell you, it is very expensive, at least more than I'm used to. But it's worth every penny for a special occasion or a night out once in a while. Glad I got a doggie bag so I can enjoy their food one more time.“
“My favorite middle-eastern restaurant!I've been to many others around the US and even Germany and Colombia, but this is the most flavorful I've found, here in my hometown. My go-to is the (vegetarian) falafel platter, with salad, rice, grape leaves, etc. The hummus and pita was amazing. Recently the falafel seems less fresh, although still worth it for the affordable price. My favorite Middle Eastern restaurant!I've been to many others in the US and even Germany and Colombia, but this is the tastiest I've found, here in my hometown. My favorite option is the falafel plate (vegetarian), with salad, rice, grape leaves, etc. The hummus and pita were amazing.
