“Wow this place is so beautiful! The ambiance everything was amazing mashallah I really enjoyed my visit here. Came to try some Morrocan food for iftaar and for reservations right away. The service was beyond excellent. The owner was friendly and made sure I had a great experience. Food was very tasty and delicious! Really enjoyed it and the soup and Moroccan tea was my favorite! Highly recommend :) alhamdulilah will be back again when I visit from Texas thank you !“
“I’m just going to say what a wonderful experience we had with friends of ours who tried Turkish & Mediterranean Cuisine for the first time. Please make a reservation if you coming during the weekend because they’re really busy. BYOB is a fantastic idea. The dishes are yummy.“
“If I could add more stars, I would. The staff was absolutely delightful, everything was clean, and best of all--the food was amazing! My only complaint is that I'm now completely addicted to their platters! 100 percent coming back here again (and again, and again)!“
“This is one of the best mediterranean food places in the entire town. I had the ultimate food platter, which was filled with various juicy meats such as lamb, beef, and chicken. The sauces blended with the meats and bread to make a fantastic fusion of flavour. The service here was amazing, and our server Tony did an amazing job. I could not recommend this place more.“
“Walked in, didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The interiors felt like a high-end restaurant, and the food kept up with it!The covered outdoor space was comfy and classy, with beautiful green art on the walls. The flavors, taste, and texture were really top-notch Italian food I've had. Highly recommended.“
“i got mix shawarma, they had iftari for every one who needed to break their fast , and it was free. the service was amazing, my food came out super quick, the quality and the quantity is just perfect ,best gyro in nj! highly recommend and the great service from maliak , she was the sweetest and helped with alot. she passed out dates to everyone when it was time to open our fast , and told us to help our self to anything from the table . will be coming again with my whole family! loved it“
“Love this place! Their lattes are so creative and delicious (cardamom, cloves, rose hips.. so many infusions/flavors). Donuts are also awesome and the staff are helpful. I passed this place for years and never went inside.. (mistake!) now I go all the time. Have to say, their name/sign don’t let on to how to how creative their menu and drinks are.“
“I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. The food is amazing! Atmosphere is beautiful and the service is great. The mousakka, pastitchio, chicken kabobs were incredible. The bougatsa we had for dessert was out of this world! I really don’t think I’ve ever had a better meal than I did last night! Delicious and the owner is just delightful as well. I will definitely be back soon!“
“This restaurant is a gem, the owner and the staff are so sweet and welcoming, the food is amazing, and overall I’ve had a pleasant experience every time I’ve been here. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is delicious, especially the French onion soup, the avocado panini, the penne vodka, and the omm-Ali. Additionally, their coffee bar is phenomenal and has a great variety of flavors. I cannot talk highly enough about this restaurant, thanks to the owner and staff for all their hard work making this place so homely and inviting.“
“Pretty good overall. Seemed like an amateurish operation at times but I understand they're trying to rebrand and become more of a steakhouse. I'd go back eventually to see how it turns out with the steaks (had seafood). But for what they're charging right now I would expect close to perfection, it wasn't near that. Still, overall good.“
“My visit here was super enjoyable and everything was really tasty. They have really good portions and a variety of flavors through out the dish’s. I would recommend the baba ghanoush and any of the kebabs. This is also a BYOB restaurant which is very convenient. It’s Also very pretty inside and outside that adds to the great atmosphere. Would recommend to try here Forsure.Kid-friendliness: Kids allowedWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp“
“This was the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to. They had wonderful service, who work really hard and are the best waiters! The general atmosphere was also really nice, everyone was happy and enjoying the experience. The food was also the best I have ever had. Other restaurants in the area cannot beat this. I will be coming back, this was a memorable experience!“
“I love this little place! We travel about 30 minutes to eat here about three times a year and it's always been spectacular. He usually we end up with the gyro platter cuz that's just what we know and like. But this time we tried the meat platter for two for some variety and it was outstanding! Couldn't believe how much meat there was probably could have fed three or even four people! We brought enough leftovers home for another two dinners! Everything was outstanding and it was really a great variety of all the different meats they have. Would highly recommend this place however make sure you make reservations. They are very small inside and are typically always busy unless you come way before the peak dinner hours.“
“Visit this place every week during lunch. The food is amazing, taste delicious and consistent. I think this restaurant is far better choice than other places in the neighbor. Highly recommended!!!Vegetarian options: Recently added traditional Indian food option which is a complement to Chicken Shawarma for me.“
“Ellinikon is such a cute and cozy coffee shop/market. There are plenty of tables and spaces inside, but it does get crowded with various groups of people visiting and hanging out. That's not a drawback and lends itself to the lively atmosphere and a sense of community at Ellinikon. The food is great! I love the Democratus sandwich: the brioche bun melts in your mouth. I also really enjoy the Freddo coffee and the mango danishes. The staff is nice and friendly. The drawbacks: The Wi-Fi isn't secure and can be a bit tricky to connect to at times. However, once you're online, it's generally pretty reliable. In the seating area, there are only four outlets available (one set by the door and another by the benches), so make sure to plan ahead if you'll need to charge your devices. One other thing to consider is that sitting near the open kitchen sometimes makes my eyes water, possibly due to onions being cut during food preparation.Regardless, Ellinikon is one of my favorite places in Highland Park to meet up with friends or just spend time by myself. I just plan accordingly, and the drawbacks don't prevent me from enjoying my time at Ellinikon.“
“Masala Bay is a fast casual dining offering a blend of Indian and Middle Eastern-inspired bowls and burritos (wrapped in naan bread). Its unique naan variations paired with spicy spreads create an intriguing experience.Vegetarian options: Has a whole bunch of Naan Options, Falafel and Samosa chaat“
“We went for a family dinner, we were very pleased, it was superb in terms of both taste and hygiene, the waiters were friendly and very kind, and we would like to thank the boss, Mr. Nazim, for his interest and concern, he hosted us wonderfully.“
“It's a really great place to try if anyone likes Mediterranean food, and especially I recommend trying the falafel bowl or wrap because they make it fresh in front of you, and their quality and quantity are also awesome for the price they charge. Their customer service is really great. Overall, it's a must-visit place.“
“Wonderful experience at Habeeb’s. The food is so authentic in taste and flavor. We enjoyed our bee/lamb gyro, roasted humus, and the crepes were delicious. Thank you for your service. What a great find and a gem of a Mediterranean restaurant in Somerset.“
“Every dinner here is above average- is that even possible? The (kosher) meat menu's large but everything is built on a theme. The knowledgeable waitstaff always guides us toward the best combinations. Last night we tried the stuffed eggplant appetizer- it was rich, salty, sweet, and sour. Probably not for everyone but it's now a favorite of ours. We also tried the pistachio lamb kebab, which was really unique and delicious. It came wrapped in a flatbread and covered in a tangy tomato sauce and ground pistachios. Super unique and tasty. Dessert was baklava made with kataifi and ground walnuts. My pancreas cried out for help while my taste buds told it to sit down. Totally worth the calories. Portions are huge- come hungry and prepared to take home leftovers.“
“This restaurant is punching well above its weight. People, don't overthink thiswe got the lamb platter, and a lamb/chicken pizza. generous portion. very affordable pricing. good flavor. best part? the lamb platter is basically a version of nyc halal cart platter. but maybe even better in some ways? pickled cabbage, chick peas, hummus, idk what else. it's a good f-ing platter. Flavor still pretty goodThe pizza? ok not the trattoria style we're used in this area. but also good! $17 for 16", with meat, veggies, and generous but not obscene amount of cheese. c'monon top of all that, they included 2 complimentary sauce cups. one was some sort of black pepper ranch (but not ranch), and the other a fruitier, chutney-ish sort of sauce. they have an interesting flavoroverall, good pricing, and for the pricing, good quality, good flavor, and good portion. more and more, this sort of offering is harder to find in today's economy.food was ready on time. owner was nice. addressed discrepancies with grubhub, made substitutions easy for us and pricing did not changeIf nothing changes we will take out from pita+hummus again and again“
“You get a very good size pita here! About the size of a biiiiig overstuffed burrito. The smoked eggplant in the falafel supreme is soooo good. Crepe was good too, it's one big crepe folded into a square instead of the usual rolls I'm used to. Definitely a share worthy size. Quick and friendly service too :)“
“"I visited this place today and the food was fantastic. the chef prepared everything with care and the service was excellent. The food was freshly made and had a lovely touch of charm to it. I am thoroughly impressed with this place and I will be back. I highly recommend it to everyone."?“
“I have been going to Grill Point about once a month for the past 2+ years, and I don't remember being disappointed a single time. I always get a lunch special, which is reasonably priced for the quantity and (especially) quality of food you get. The owners are really kind and involved in daily operations. The lunch appetizers are amazing, with options including homemade hummus, labne, and the best lentil soup I have ever had. The kebabs are tender and juicy, spiced to perfection. And the thin, Lebanese-style pita bread, which always comes fresh and warm, is to die for, hitting a sweet spot between soft and crispy. I have also tried their baklava before, and I have to give that a thumbs-up, as well!Overall, Grill Point is a hidden gem, truly a treasure of Route 9. Turn in at the U-Haul, and prepare to enjoy a truly wonderful Mediterranean meal.“
“Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food!!! The complimentary bread is fantastic! You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. Highly recommend the grilled branzino, Istanbul mixed grill, pomegranate salad, and the pides. The grilled platters are excellent as well -- chicken shish, lamb adana, etc. Love the baklava as well. Try it! You won't regret it.“
“Came here on a late afternoon and service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and best of its kind in the far area. We ordered phyllo stuffed with meat, a fish platter and a kofta platter. The phyllo was light, packed with stuffing, and cooked to perfection. Both platters came with rice, which was cooked well and seasoned nicely, and a side salad which had fresh lettuce and vegetables. The kofta and fish were flavorful and paired perfectly with the rice and salad. Overall a great place with kind staff and owners -- definitely a must try.“
“As MiddleEasterner, I definitely suggest this high quality Turkish restaurant for Kebab lovers. The food was so delicious as you feel you are in Istanbul and the hospitality proves it.Don’t forget to order Ayran (yougurt drink) as drink and Keshkul as dessert.I will come back again !“
“I’ve been coming here for over 3 years now and the quality has been the same since day one. There’s a verity of delicious options on the menu and the gyro sandwiches are our favorite! The food is ready very quickly, perfect for takeout and never had my order messed up. Sam is a great guy and runs a great business.Dietary restrictions: If you ask them not to add something, they take it seriously and never messed up once in the 3 years I’ve been coming here“
“Great atmosphere. Rapidly seated. Got the falafel, hummus and salsa (comes with pita but I declined). Got a plate of pickles, on the house, which were flavorful. The falafel plate was filling and flavorful. It came with five balls and it was sufficient. The hummus tasted so fresh. I had no complaints. Street parking fyi. They accept card.“
“Excellent place to go to . We had a lunch there today and all the food was delicious! It’s a family owned restaurant , very clean place and the food has all the savory off an authentic Lebanese restaurant !I highly recommend this place and if i could rated it i would give him 20 over 10Good luck guys“
“I loved the food. It's very different. It was my first time experiencing Greek culinary. The cheese appetizer was soooo strong but good, the beet salad was great ( except for the goat cheese), the crab cakes i didn't like at all. the main dish was delicious. The desert was the best for me..they are not expensive and its BYOB.“
“Great authentic Greek food bringing the flavors of Greece to New Jersey! Staff are friendly and the food amazing! They also have a terrace outside so you can enjoy when weather permits. As a bonus, they are byob and a there's a small store next to it that sells wine. They also own the Greek pastry shop next door for your Greek pastry fix. Reservations are highly recommended as they are very busy towards the end of the week.“
“Perhaps i ordered the wrong main entree. The appetizers were good we got wings and the pretzels 6/10. i got chicken and waffle for my main and i have to say it was the blandest chicken ive ever had. No flavor in the chicken or the coat. Bland waffle. Most of the seasonings were on the egg and they didnt even ask me how i want that cooked because i definitely wouldve said sunnyside up…. They gave me over hard 1/10. Being unhappy with my choice i tried some of my friends’ pizzas and they were decent if you like soft crust (no crunch)7/10 in my opinion. Pistachio ricotta cake was dessert and it was good 9/10.“
“It's been a while since I've had C&R. But this place brought back memories of standing in line on 53rd & 6th. Most importantly, the flavor was reminiscent of NYC carts. I was worried that it would become dry in the time it took the delivery to get to us but that wasn't the case. Even when I ate leftovers 3 days later, it was pretty good. Needless to say, next time I have a chicken & rice craving, I know where I'll be ordering from.“
“4/6 : Google is showing a number, which is mentioned as a number on the website, but when we call, it is going to a different number. Nevertheless, no one is picking both numbers, called around 5 pm. Is this out of business??Old review:Good newyork style halal platters in oak tree road. Parking is available just opposite the shop. Boa ATM in 20 feet distance. Chicken platters, falafel, and hummus are good. Maintaining good quality.“
“This is my favorite restaurant and bar ever. I bring all my family and my friends here every time I am in New Jersey. And the staff are the best people ever. Can’t give this place enough compliments… 5 stars doesn’t even begin to cover it.“
“Mamoun's Falafel is a true gem for falafel enthusiasts! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the inviting aroma of freshly fried falafel and exotic spices. The menu boasts an array of Middle Eastern delights, with their signature falafel stealing the show. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavor and texture, perfectly complemented by the assortment of fresh salads and creamy tahini sauce. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends. While the service is efficient, there may be a slight wait during peak hours, but trust me, it's well worth it.Overall, Mamoun's Falafel delivers a delicious and authentic culinary experience that won't disappoint. Whether you're a falafel aficionado or simply looking to explore new flavors, this beloved eatery is a must-visit. Just be sure to come hungry!“
“Halal Spot offers an exceptional dining experience with top-notch customer support. The butter chicken is a standout, rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned, while the fried fish provides a delightful crispy texture. The zinger burger is a must-try, delivering a perfect balance of spices and juiciness. The platters showcase a variety of delectable options, making it an ideal choice for those who want to savor a bit of everything. Overall, Halal Spot impresses with both its stellar customer service and delicious array of dishes.“
“Not sure which cuisine it is but tastes good. If you eat spicy food then you may not like this place. I tried their khorma and qabuli, which was really tasty and comes with huge portion, complementary bread and butter and salad. You cannot find food at such a reasonable price. Highly recommend.“
“My boyfriend and I had dinner tonight at Koy Grill. The food was absolutely amazing, and the desserts beyond delicious! Denver was a great waiter and very helpful with helping me figure out the menu. . I highly recommended Koy Grill. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Ask Denver“
