“Chambersburg in Trenton has transformed from one of America's oldest Little Italys to a Latin food oasis - especially Guatemalan. I never was in Chambersburg when it was an Italian enclave, but I have been there in recent years as it very close to the Trenton Transportation Center and the trains to NYC & Philly. This time I wanted to try out a Venezuelan eatery called CasDeLuna because I liked their sign outside stating they made 'The World's Best Arepas.' Service during the pandemic is at their outdoor window and that is where I ordered my meal. I tried three different types of Venezuelan arepas. First I ordered the Pabellon. This was very tasty with its filling of beef, plantains, and cheese. I then ordered the Pelua which again came with shredded beef but this time the cheese was a yellow one. Also on the tasty side but not as flavorful as the Pabellon. My final arepa was the largest one and that was a Cachapa. This is more like a sweet corn pancake rolled and filled with meat & cheese as well as lettuce and tomatoes. I would give this a thumbs up as well. Of course all arrived with the ubiquitous Venezuelan Guasacaca sauce which I gladly put on each of my arepas. This cilantro-based sauce can be addictive. I don't know if CasDeLuna's arepas are truly the best on the planet but I can tell you they are tasty and worthy of a stop when in the Trenton area. Tip - I was slightly overcharged which I discovered after I paid. I didn't say anything but as a result I didn't leave a tip. There are no prices listed on the big outdoor menu board. However while I was waiting for my food, I asked to see a paper menu which they keep behind the counter and there I saw the prices and realized they were slightly lower than what I was charged for each item. I would suggest asking for the paper menu when ordering so you can do the addition at the time of purchase.“

“Fantastic menu! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The menu prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Shrimp Croquetas and they were delicious and enough for our table of 4. The Artisanal Plate which was exceptional. The chicken empanadas were the best I've had. The Paella was out of this world! The best flavored Paella I've had, filled with fresh seafood. This place serves great mixed drinks and the menu has something for everyone.“
