“This is my 3rd time coming here and it's was great. The food has always been cooked perfectly, the atmosphere is great for a good time. I love seeing all the goat themes around the restaurant. The service was fantastic as well. Carlos took great care of us and had great recommendations for food. We'll be back “
“Energy. Good food. Good people. Great work Nicole, Hilary and the gang. Your warmth and commitment is palpable. The love exudes from the front door to the plate. The food was delicious; lasagne soup, mouthwatering meatloaf and red velvet cake. Thank you for what you do.“
“Wow, the food was fantastic, prepared to perfection with quality fresh ingredients, the Poblano Molé was amazing, as was the lime cake for dessert, Michael who was taking care of us for dinner was attentive, personable and welcoming. Best in “
“I've eaten at Drew's a few times, and they have leveled UP with their new location. The food is absolutely incredible, the restaurant is beautiful and welcoming with a really cool open kitchen and chef's table, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my party had a great night. And I have to add to the chorus - the Voodoo Shrimp really IS that good! Everyone who orders the pork chop special always loves it, I love the crawfish étouffée, and the escargot was very good too. I can't imagine there's a bad thing to eat here!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating and understanding of dietary restrictions, and very thorough in ensuring nothing snuck through!“
“We had the chef’s tasting menu and the food was delicious. They adjusted dishes due to dietary preferences or restrictions and we really appreciated this. The service was the most personal and professional I’ve ever had and I have eaten at Michelin restaurants before. I highly recommend!Parking: The parking lot can get pretty full but you’ll most likely always find a spot.“
“Forget the fried chicken , forget the name of this place: get the mixed platter. Get the kabobs. Amazing flavor. Some of the best food I've ever eaten, and I eat a LOT of food. Everything we ordered was amazing. And we didn't order any fried chicken“
“It's inside a very nice little locals bar, but definitely welcoming to everyone. Staff and patrons are very nice. They have a small selection of beer but good choices, seemed to have decent liquor selection as well. They also have a little section to purchase for home. We got a couple voodoo rangers, which is our regular anyway, so it was nice to see it on tap. We ordered the salt n vinegar fries and they were ??? can't wait to go back and try other stuff. The whole menu sounded delicious and the glorious aromas from the kitchen was tempting us to order. We live just up the road and would pass this place all the time, and I'm glad we stopped in. Looking forward to trying the other options on the menu!Parking: Its probably a 20 car lot or so, but theres definitely spots. There's also street parking available if needed.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have ramps available for access.“
“Great place to grab a bite, drink and watch a game. The walls are lined with TVs and they'll turn just about anything on for you. They have a great selection of tap beers and specialty cocktails. And they have a nice selection of bar food which is very good. Worth the time to hang out with friends and cheer on your favorite team.“
“I've eaten at the Rise n Shine on occasion and find it's no frills local hometown vibe inviting. I prefer sitting at the counter old school and watching the traffic go by as I enjoy a delicious omlette. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.“
“Flaming Chorizo for an appy, which we both enjoyed. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese for dinner, which I liked. And my wife had Chicken Parm, which she loves. They only had one IPA: Fiddlehead, which I don't love. And the Margarita was $14 and not very good. I was tempted to deduct a star because of the drinks, but the bartenders were great, so I decided not to. We sat at the bar, which I prefer. My wife was not completely comfortable on the chair. My complaints are meant to be suggestions. I will be back.“
“Ordered food for a family party and EVERYONE at the party loved the food. They delivered the food to our home and couldn’t have been nicer. I had never even eaten there before and decided to support a local business and I’m so glad that I did. The food was absolutely amazing and everything was fresh. HIGHLY “
“BRIAN MAKES THE BEST GOD DANG BURGERS I'VE HAD ALL YEAR, or..... ever? I've tried the Canadian Maple and the French Onion burger. I'll be trying the rest soon. His Cuban sandwich has a pork cut in it that is cooked sous vide, you can't beat this at this price point.“
“The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“
“Great vibes from with a small town feel.Service great and food came out quick!Didn’t love the corned beef hash (texture and flavor), but everything else was classic and hit the spot.Vegetarian options: Clear description on what’s what to make informed choices“
“Great tiny hole in the wall, old school bar but awesome food the Chef Hector is so kind and cares about what he serves. I had the Munkee sandwich Grilled chicken spinach Swiss with a garlic aoile delicious . Husband had the cheese Steak awesome amount of steak. Definitely will go back. Great service from Crystal.“
“I have been going there for 40 years now. Always great delicious food as well as, a whole page of specials. The specials are always different. Their burgers are grilled in the center of the bar. They also have a delicious cheddar cheese that they pour over there hamburgers. The house salad with the house dressing is always a winner. Lettuce, egg, little shrimp, with the house dressing! I always loved the crab Melt aways! you cannot make a reservation, there is always a wait for dinner. get there at 11:30 for lunch, it fills up fast! Lunch specials come with a soup or a salad. Recently, renovated, outside area as well. With, it’s about time, new bathrooms!Vegetarian options: There’s so many vegetarian options, especially with all of their specials.Dietary restrictions: If you need something they will accommodate you.Parking: They have handicap on the side of the building, as well as in the back of the building, which is the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Brought my kids, since they were very little. They’re in their 30s now.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the first floor.“
“I visited the Old Bermuda Inn for the first time. I have always noticed it from the 440 Staten Island and thought it was beautiful especially when it is lit up at night. I was excited to go. I parked my own car. The front of the venue was beautiful. The school I work for hosted an event on the first floor of over 300 people and over 200 baskets. Seating was comfortable, the tables were beautiful and I was near the bar. Our waitress was on point. I ate the salad with garlic bread, penne vodka and the salmon. My husband got the Chicken Marsala. Many of my coworkers had the stake. They all came with a veggie melody and roasted potatoes. All of the food was delicious. My ultimate favorite was the dessert. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a brownie. I enjoyed it so much that I took the person next to me dessert too bc they were busy dancing and it was melting. The only thing I wished for was a cup of coffee. My family has two events planned there soon. I am looking forward to going back!“
“I have loved this place since the original in Little Silver when they were lunch and a small dinner venue. They had the best homemade soup. Now that they have expanded and our primarily breakfast and lunch the are still amazing. And I've been to multiple....Toms River, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Cherry Hill, etc. Consistent no matter which one you go to. And the coffee is amazing too. I love my French presses!“
“Great place for breakfast and/or lunch. The diner is small, with a long counter and two person tables and a few booths. The food is delicious and the servers friendly and attentive.Normally I only order homemade hash, but Gloria (our server) exclaimed that theirs was really good (even out of the can) and she was right. It was perfectly made and tasty, with crunchy well done edges. It was crowded when we arrived (noon), but plenty of seating after 1pm.The diner is not wheelchair accessible, but there is an outdoor space that may be accessible in the warm months (outdoor space was closed today). There are steps leading up the front door, and the inside is pretty tight, as far as maneuverability.Few parking places out front, but plenty of street parking on a quiet street. Will definitely return!!“
“There really isn’t’t a place to sit down and have a proper meal, but don’t be fooled by that! The food here is cheap and delicious and I got my filling. The cashier was very kind as was the rest of the staff. They are busy so expect to wait a little bit. I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich and the fried cauliflower on the side. Maybe it was just my experience, but I think I was waiting there for about 45 minutes. The food is absolutely the bomb and they gave me extra sauces, though, so I can’t complain. If I ever decide to go back to Keansburg Beach, this is the place I will definitely head to.“
“Very friendly staff and for my first time my food was so good and everyone who ate it with me also enjoyed it a lot definitely will be returning thank you so much for the fast service as I didn’t wait long and everything came out perfect thank you“
“Fun, casual place with a water view. Near the Seastreak dock in the Highlands. The food is great, with a full bar and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Outdoor bar and seating in summer. Upstairs but there is an elevator. Can be a little noisy but hey, people are enjoying themselves!! (BTW, the New England clam chowder is the real deal!!)Wheelchair accessibility: An elevator is available.“
“Had my daughters first birthday party here after looking at multiple other restaurants. This restaurant had the nicest party room and the food was delicious. The day of the party, I was able to come early to decorate and set up. The owner and his family were very kind and helped set up the room and accommodated our requests. They continually checked in throughout the event to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. The waitresses made sure we had enough food and the kids were all given kids meals which they loved. My guests raved about the chicken francese and baked clams. It was a great day and I felt very at peace knowing how helpful staff was and didn't have to worry about the party going smoothly. Definitely recommend Ruoccos!“
“I had my bridal shower at Z-Two on Sunday. The food was amazing and the staff was great. Debbie went above and beyond for me and was extremely attentive. She really helped make my experience there that much better. Thankyou!!! I highly recommended Z-Two for your next party!!“
“Well it is a great pleasure to go and eat at Keyport Fishery.the ?? fish so delicious and best price .I highly recommend to everyone. Try it you going to love ohh and the new England red or white claw shower the best and the price nobody bet very affordable try it.Sincerely Mario P.Ok forgot I been going since 1977.“
“The place was packed. That was a great sign! Both waitresses were super busy but the young lady Viviana who was our waitress was really hustling. Always had a smile on her face as well!Food was excellent without breaking the bank. The onion mushroom pita appetizer was delish! Try it!Everything was great including the band but the music was definitely too loud. I’ve been to many establishments with bands but this was the first time our ears hurt and we couldn’t hear each other.Otherwise. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed !“
“Great place to go get a drink. They have also good snacks, appetizers and food. The place is cozy and the bands that play there on the weekends are great. . The staff is always welcoming with a gentle smile and nice greeting. It is a place to go to!!!“
“Fantastic restaurant. As good as the food is and the food is awesome the staff is even better. Danielle and Maria make you feel welcome and like family. I had a surprise bday party there and I can’t say enough how happy everyone left Great food great people great time“
“A nice casual local family spot if you're looking for a decent meal at a reasonable price. The Grandma pie is excellent, especially if well-done. We've also had their garlic knots, zucchini sticks and several different dinners - including some nightly specials. Portions are generous and come out hot. Dinner salads are fresh and served cold. Water and soft drinks are large. Comfortable and clean dining area with booths and tables. Friendly vibe.“
“Start-to-finish delicious. Dishes were all prepared with care. Added acoustic panels to help with the noise. Can't wait to go back.Edit: just had the covid curbside take out. It was fantastic. This place is awesomeEdit2: been a favorite restaurant for years now.“
“Love the farm to table concept and ever changing menu. But...much aroma with not enough substance. Second time we've returned food to kitchen as it was cold. Pork chop is a venerable go to. Lamb shank lacked flavor. This place isn't bad it's just not up to where it could be. And that's a shame because we really want to go more.“
“The food is always good quality and constant . Service is excellent, all staff is extremely pleasant. Burgers are great, Sushi looks excellent. (not a seafood eater). Wish there was a change in the chicken option which has been the same for quite some time. A good go to place!“
“I recently tried Maloneys on Main and had their patty melt, which was delicious. The flavors melted together perfectly, creating a satisfying meal. I sat at the bar and paired it with a blond beer, which I don't typically drink, and it was a surprisingly great combination. Overall, Maloneys on Main is a great spot for a tasty meal and drinks.“
“Now this is a place to see. Let me start by saying you will be packed in like sardines but it is worth it. You will LOVE the food, the atmosphere and the staff. The oven fired pizza is amazing. The calamari and shrimp is to die for. Go there ready to eat the best food you ever had. They care if you have food allergies. You will be comfortable and the prices are just right. I was even there with children so it's a family fun business. Also this business has a nice bar and lots of televisions. Go there and experience the fun and enjoy!!“
“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. Thank you so much because of you guys my party was a success! I’ll see you again sooner than later.“
“I went to their restaurant and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the next day I realized I left my wallet where I was sitting. Which obviously is very upsetting. I went back the next day and I think her name was Jennifer who found my wallet and gave it back to me. It’s really nice to know there are still very honest people in this world. Not only that but her service to us with lunch was amazing. She is so nice and now obviously so honest as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️“
“Even though I'm a native Staten Islander, I never really go to eat on this side of the Island. This place is an old school style restaurant and I heard good things about it, so at 59 years old I visited there on September 16, 2023 with my wife and another couple for the first time. We all loved the food. The menu is so big it reminds me of a diner menu but classier and we all loved our entrees and appetizers. The young waitress we had was adorable, efficient, professional and attentive. In short, we will definitely be going back to Canlons and highly recommend it to our friends and family.“
“Just moved across the street from this location. Tried a large pie and wings from here yesterday. This place is amazing. Pizza is fresh not floppy like other places. The ladies inside were very helpful also when I came to pick up. Wings were amazing also.“
“this place is a little dated, but the food is amazing. The service is amazing and very honest my wife left her phone there and our server which I’m gonna get her name did the most due diligence I’ve ever seen a person do we got our Phone bank and we will be having Dates there for time to come. Thank you so much for being a human THE VARGAS’S“
“Great family place for steak. We love the bread and 2 side options. Can't go wrong. Do call ahead seating. Try the ribeye and ribs combo ?Kid-friendliness: My kids got pictures with the mascot. They love this place. Kid options available.“
“I’m not even done eating and I have to post a review. The food is amazing, cooked like a high end restaurant. The staff are extremely nice and very attentive. I had the Fiesta Burger, medium rare and it was cooked PERFECT. This place is a staple.“
“We met friends for dinner last week. We enjoy not only having a meal, but, having an experience. We certainly had that at Elli's backyard! The service was wonderful. The food was delicious. And, we highly recommend the Smore tray for dessert! Fun for all.....“
“Triumph was a great location for our rehearsal dinner! We were able to rent out the space with two pool tables (which entertained the kids and adults for the whole evening) and a dart board. The drinks were served in the space so no one had to leave to go up to the bar and wait, and the food was amazing. The vibes were right in line with us and we are so thankful to all the staff for being so great!“
“Jamian's is my favorite spot in town to grab drinks, eat some awesome pork nachos, and have fun conversations with my wife. The vibe is perfect - super chill yet lively. You've got the option to sit inside or outside, which is great for any weather. The bartenders are the best in town, top-notch, always fun, friendly and inviting. They also have great live bands that really elevate the atmosphere.“
“Got here a day late for National Hot Dog day but found out every day is hot dog day here! Nice atmosphere. Right on the promenade. Had a chili cheese dog with spicy onions. Absolutely delicious! Also had the hand cut fries with salt and vinegar. Also delicious!“
“Today I had a Mediterranean Wrap... ooo it was so good! Eggs with black olives, feta & tomatoes. The waiter is always coming around with coffee & tea refills & the waitress we had was super friendly! Delicious wrap, piping hot and over-stuffed!“
“Apple Street Kitchen is a little, neighborhood gem. It’s slightly off the beaten track. After you discover it, I promise you’ll become a fan for life. They are known for using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. They do try to refresh their menu every season. That way it stays current. Check them out if you’re looking for a cute breakfast or lunch place. They also have outdoor seating in their garden area in the warmer months.“
“I came here for some bar food on Sat night cause I was hungry and the other bar I was at was just too busy to find a seat and eat. Boneless wings were great and priced under $10, but domestic drafts were a little expensive at $5. The bar was very slow for a Sat night and someone was playing terrible rap music on the jukebox. Food and service were great, but music was bad.“
“Friendly little dinner. I can see why locals like it. It's convenient, quick, and relatively cheap. Everything was bland though. It still blows me away how easy it is for restaurants like this that can still undercook and underseason home fries. There is nothing special about this place. Just another average dinner. Also, it's cash only. That's not a problem. I'm just letting anyone know who reads this that, that's a thing.“
“This place is fantastic! Our friends just moved to Union Beach and we're kinda sad that we need to make a 45 minute drive to get here! Staff is super nice, food's great and everyone is friendly... Especially Richie! Give it a shot!“
