“I came here for the first time a week ago for a friend's birthday and it was so good, I immediately made a reservation for a date night for the following week while still in the restaurant.The owner, who is lovely, charming and has a fun sense of humor, saw me seated at the table and waiting for my date to find parking. He came up to me and helped us find parking in a great spot. We very much appreciated the help. (note to self: leave yourself a little time to look before* your reservation lol)The servers there are knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to the patrons. We had the rigatoni special with pancetta and asparagus, short ribs (to die for) as well as the apple tart with ice cream and spiced chocolate mousse and everything was well seasoned, fresh and delicious. I look forward to returning and suggesting this restaurant to friends.”

Some of the best broccoli rabe I've ever had ! Super large portions. Remember they're a BYO. Bring your favorite wine! It's very crowded on the weekend. The Tiramisu is home made! Don't pass it by! “Food portions were good and the service was great. Small spot so it can feel crowded when all the tables are filled. Our waitress was really prompt and got us our food in a timely manner. I had the Lomo w/ fried rice and my wife had the shrimp lomo w/ fried rice. While my dish was a bit salty for my liking hers was the opposite with not much flavor to it. Overall decent experience. Parking is a nightmare so be prepared to find parking multiple blocks away if you’re lucky.”

“I have wanted to visit the Sweets & Cafe Bakery for a long time. It is a few blocks away from my dentist, and I finally had the opportunity to visit last Friday, March 8, 2024. The service was excellent, and the two staff people who took and served my order were very professional, friendly and helpful. The cafe con leche was MUY DELICIOSO, and the ocho with guava and cream was also very tasty. The place was so clean, and the bathroom was also very clean and well-stocked, too. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.”

Service is friendly, juices are fresh and healthy, the menu is incredibly diverse. Although space is limited, it's definitely not cramped. If you're driving, looking for parking in the surrounding area shouldn't be that bad, just don't double park directly out front, this part of Park Avenue is incredibly active. Ultimately, Tutti Frutti is a go, and a go again!”

Incredible Ceviche Carretillero (fish ceviche and fried squid) and extremely delicious and piping hot lomo saltado, actually made in a wok because you can taste the difference and the perfect cook of the veg and marinated beef. Incredibly underrated spot, so so so so worth visiting. Sundays before 5 are a good time to come to get fast service as it’s not too busy. This place needs to blow up!”

My daughter and her friends truly enjoyed their meals and so did I, while we stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Weehawken. It was so tranquil. No beeping. No screaming. Makes you want to stay inside awhile instead of taking your food and leaving.The burritos are unlike any Taco Bell I've had in my life. “Had their chicken sandwich on a whim as I was walking by the neighborhood. It was a simple sandwich with chicken chunks lettuce tomatoes onions and I think mayo. It was decent and the service was pretty good. The ladies there were very nice. It's a small little shop and I was able to use the bathroom which was very clean and had a lot of mirrors. I would definitely come back here to try some of their soups. I saw it was a soup special for lunch so I will be trying that out. I also saw a few customers eating the soup as I was waiting for my sandwich. It looked really hearty and delicious.”

It ain’t terrible for an elote but a traditional Mexican restaurant would be the ideal spot for that.The food is actually good , nowadays outside food especially “cuban” food is trash - nothing like abuela / mama / tia. It will hit the spot!The croquetas were soft, they could’ve been fried more to get them crispy.The mondongo was delicious, generous portions of tripe!Would definitely return, recommend (except the tamale)”

“For some reason, I have never been able to eat the white sauces(ranch/blue cheese) so this is the first time I bit into the pizza and liked the sauce! I couldn’t stop eating it lol….it was a thin slice with bacon and chicken bits….the sauce was a bit sweet but it was really good…the little spinach and pepperoni bites were really good! I wish I would have taken pictures of everything. They even waited for me to get there, after I told them that I would be getting there, a few minutes after closing. If I lived up this way, I would certainly come to Pitstop Pizza.”
“I recently went there with my family for Mexican brunch. I wasn’t expecting much. It’s a low-key hole in a wall kind of place — but creatively designed. I was blown away by the quality of food. All the sauces were really fresh. Rice was cooked to perfection. The flavors were very refined and the beans were perfect. Tacos were amazing too. I was disappointed by the waffles (but it’s not a waffle place). The cafe con leche was amazing too. The flavors are better than Charittos (which is 5 times more expensive and always crowded). It’s hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in the neighborhood.”

“Came in to eat but that day they didn’t have any food so we got bubble teas . Milk Thai tea and topiica. The staff was so nice and apologetic about not having food just drinks .they gave my wife extra bubbles in her tea . Will come back some other day just to try the food because the staff made our experience that much more special by going above and beyond .Parking: It’s difficult”

“I've always driven by this place and heard excellent things, so this morning I decided to finally stop in for some breakfast. I was expecting somewhere I could sit and view the menu, but there was no menu posted anywhere on the wall and there didn't seem to be any menus that I could look at.What I really wanted was a breakfast sandwich, but seeing nothing at all that said those were available, I decided to order from the pastry case.There were so many items and not being familiar with Colombian food, I didn't know what to choose. I chose an empanada (ranchero), a hawaiian stuffed pastry, and a couple of buñuelos.The women behind the counter were friendly taking my order, heating the items up for me, and handing them over, but strangely dropped the smile and didn't say Thank you or goodbye when I said it to her. Even as I put tip in the tip jar, she didn't smile at me again. I thought that was a little bit strange.Once I got back to my car and resumed my commute to work, I tasted the food.Every single thing was DElicious! I've never had such flaky, lightly crisp empanadas and I love empanadas. The bunuelos were excellent and I loved the flavor of the cheese. The hawaiian pastry was a little weird because the sweetness of the pineapple contrasted with the savory cheese and ham in there, but I guess that's the point!I want to try the location that's a couple blocks over, to see if I can view their full menu. But definitely want to come back here and will sample more of their pastries!”

My familyy came in and ordered and everyone around us got served before us after she heard us, mind you our waiter there telling his side they arrived after us.55 minutes later, ( we ordered 14 pupusas amd 1 soup.) table in front and behind a party of 8 people each received their rice steaks, seafood appetizers. When we asked the waiter about it, he came off extremely rude arguing trying to prove he’s right that and we’re in the wrong…he said the others came after but ordered first before us… not right! in reality all he had to do was apologize for the wait and find out how long till food comes out. he had a face like miserable…. he wasn’t happy working there, and the manager, an older blonde lady, didn’t even offer an apology. while talking to her our server was there too again being a lawyer. the lady really seemed she wasn’t interested in us since place was busy due to salvadorian parade. She just said to pay for our drinks and leave. What a disaster. Bathroom not as clean when they’re busy. toilet had splatters of crap on sear and floor was slippery. also some air freshener wouldn’t hurt. Place is tight space and dark. there are stairs inside to dining room and 16 steps downstairs to go to restroom. so if you’re in a wheelchair, good luck. place doesn’t look like its up to code. atmosphere is not that friendly and dark not enough lighting. mirrors are dirty in dining room. El lugar es un espacio reducido y oscuro. Hay escaleras adentro que conducen al comedor y 16 escalones abajo para ir al baño. así que si estás en silla de ruedas, buena suerte. El lugar no parece cumplir con el código. El ambiente no es tan amigable y oscuro, no hay suficiente iluminación. Los espejos están sucios en el comedor. Comida sin posibilidad de comer.”
