“It's a lovely place excellent customer service. Service with a smile, very professional excellent mannerism, sandwich I love the most is the a t m with spinach, with no salt. Sooo good. I figure I try it once, second time maybe it will have a different taste, no fourth, fifth one just as good as the first.Vegetarian options: Sandwich I order, excellent ??“
“First off, big shout out to the manager Alphie, excuse me for potential spelling error. He went above and beyond for me multiple times when assistance was needed. Awarded me with 2 FW gift cards to rectify said concerns & secondly cooked a fresh trifecta in replacement of another one that indeed was a major improvement. Whenever I come in, I enjoy the dining experience and the food is tasty. Thank you Alpie for making FW in Union stand out! ??✨“
“I had the patty melt that was absolutely delicious and disco fries that were perfect! The carrot cake I have for dessert was almost perfect, maybe just a little more icing than I would have preferred. Our server was perfect although I waited too long to write this to remember her name unfortunately sorry.“
“Craving pepperoni pizza, I stopped by Johnny Napkins and wasn't disappointed. The slice was delicious – the crust was perfect, and the pepperoni had a nice kick. I left feeling satisfied and excited to try their other pizzas on the menu. Highly recommend!“
“We had lunch here for the first time recently. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The menu had a bunch of great-sounding dishes that we'll have to come back for at dinner time. The cocktail menu was also inviting. We'll be back soon!“
“My manbun chum and I have been trying to find a home to watch our one March Madness game every year, and I think we found it for the foreseeable future. In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home.We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world.Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did.We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it.Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.“
“I finally was able to stop by and checkout this chicken spot on 22…The food was good sauces mix well with the chicken and fries…However the service was top tier! One of the workers by the name of Destin helped me along the way I forgot the sauces he recommended but I mixed them up and it turned out to be the perfect blend I was looking for. So any first timers I highly recommend to ask for Destin clearly his palate is there! Inside the restaurant made me laidback I guess because of the wall art…I’ll definitely will be returning soon.“
“The coffee & food were amazing as they always are, but I came in on a pretty slow Thursday afternoon and had to go up multiple times to the front to order my food despite the other 2-3 patrons there getting waited on. I found that odd, and found my server to be a little rude when taking my orders (no eye contact, no pleasantries) whereas she was perfectly pleasant to everyone else in the cafe. It won’t ruin my chances of going back but it was disappointing since I felt like I had found a nice new coffee shop to do work in.“
“I live around the corner I pass some tiems cuz the wait takes awhile but beside that I like the place good food good drinks choices nice happy hour an special brunch on Sundays sometimes me an my work buddies stop there and sometimes I stop after work an i like karaoke night is dope “
“Been in jersey for 7 years now. And I finally finally finally found a really great soul food spot. I got Mac n cheese collard greens and fried chicken. Yes the food is amazingly delicious you will not be disappointed. Oh and if you looking for ya meal to come out fast go some place else. Cause they make sure everything is fresh, you don't get fried chicken that sits under the hot light all day. You get fresh out the oil chicken..“
“Haven't been to IHOP in a while, but glad I stopped in. Had the eggs Benedict with cubed potatoes and it was delicious. Also had to order a side of pancakes because that's what they're known for...so good! Should have taken a pic, was very tasty.“
“From the minute we walked in with our reservations are table was ready for us. Everything was fresh and amazing . The crab cake , calamari, and shrimp appetizer were amazing. I had the Lambchops ( which were recommended by the waiter) , they didn't disappoint and were cooked to perfection. The rest of my party had nothing but praises for there dishes and no one brought home any left overs because everything was eaten.Waiter was verygood also but his name escapes me.“
